My 2.5 year old had Kylee as her SLPA. Kylee is great, and I can see how an analytical language processor can thrive with her. We were with speechcom for a few months, alongside early intervention services. EI quickly noticed that my daughter is a gestalt language processor. After talking to Myra and Kylee, we decided to stop services with them because it was stated that speechcom doesn't have any SLPs that are knowledgeable in GLPs. My daughter has had only 3 sessions with a therapist that is certified in GLP at a different practice and we have already noticed a significant difference. This isn't a bad review but just trying to inform those parents that if you have a neurodivergent kiddo that is a gestalt processor that this place might not be a good fit for them at this time. read more

Given my previous difficult interaction with another agency, I did not have high expectations. However, from the minute my child's pediatrician submitted the referral and the insurance approved the referral, Speechcom was efficient in following up to schedule the initial consult. Since this occured the week before the holidays in Dec 2021, I was not expecting the staff to schedule an appointment. However, Ms. Kylee C. (Speech therapist) was so dedicated and proactive in helping my child that she gave me the next available appointment! My child was able to start receiving services from the 1st week of Jan 2022! I was in awe how our turmolous journey was quickly brightned up by Ms. Kylee's hard work. Since then, it has officially been 1 year now and my child is talking! Ms. Kylee is truly passionate about speech and it shows. My child regularly asks for her at all times. Additionally, Ms. Kylee took it upon herself to assist with a pending Occupational Therapy referral the pediatrician had previously submitted. Ms. Kylee made it her mission to follow-up with the staff and learn that a new contract with my plan was underway with Speechcom and even helped my child be seen the day the contract was in place. Due to Ms. Kylee's support, dedication, and work ethic, my child was able to begin Occupational Therapy on 10/2022 with phenomenal Occupational Therapists Ms. Victoria and Ms. Sammie. I am frustrated with this business... Kaiser referred me out... no one ever called or left a voicemail or emailed me in regards to make an appointment. I called on a Saturday, the person that answered said she couldn't help with that since the person who makes the appointments works on the weekdays. Which, I understood...They took down my information for a call back... NEVER CALLED ME BACK... okay... well I'll try again right? I called, got through to someone they booked my appointment and said they would email me the confirmation and anything they may need... okay cool, finally. Speechcom was the answer to our prayers! My son didn't really meet his 2 year milestone for words/speech, so his pediatrician recommended speech therapy. Today is my daughter's last day at Speechcom after 11 months of speech therapy. This place was one of two providers that our insurance listed, and based solely on first impression, we chose this place. We didn't know what progress to expect, although we hoped that one session per week would encourage our daughter to begin talking and expressing herself more than simply pointing and answering yes/no questions. Now she's "graduating" after showing significant improvement and having reached her age-appropriate milestones! She's a few months shy of 3 years old now and filled with confidence in her ability to talk. We are overjoyed that we got her started early with Miss Christina, who has been incredibly great and instrumental in our daughter's growth. My son turned 2 in January, A Speech Pathologist said he would benifit from speech therapy to help him with, Receptive and Expressive language. We were referred to SpeechCom from our provider and He started therapy in Late March 2017. My husband and I have seen progress! If we were lucky before, he would only say one word, now, He's trying to put two words together! It's only been a few months and I am excited to see where he'll be in a year. It really helps that the staff is great too. Anna and Eric are always so welcoming every time we go. My son loves his therapist Caroline. Everytime we go, he can't wait to go inside to start his session. The location is great! it's across from the South Bay Galleria and next to Target. If you're a mom, that is definitely a plus!
