Maybe because I live in the area is why I had no trouble finding them, but they do have a very very visible sign out front to point the way. 2. This area is not that bad but it is very close to a lot of areas that are. 6th ave is right on the edge of north Tacoma which is a VERY nice area and Hilltop which is a really scary area. You get a strange mix. In the day time there is no real death/abortion/rape vibe, but then maybe I just have thicker skin. 3. There were no other customers inside when I went, though there was a homeless man outside. They can't do a lot to control either of those things. People who look scary need tax help too and maybe Karen should get her help in a place where there are more white people so her poor sensibilities don't get frayed. That said, and I am sorry I got snarky... I went in, having bought a house this year for the first time, and I was sent out again without paying a dime. Josh Schultz was honest with me and let me know I would only have to do a 1040EZ this year and thus saved me $70. Within 45 minutes, he had our return 80% completed, we supplied the additional info on the sale of a property, and we had a completed return. Though the tax preparer who works for them told me he would get my taxes done April 6-7th and his boss should likely be able to review and call me Monday April 8th, I didn't hear from anyone until Friday April 12th, regardless of my repeated calls and leaving messages. Even a text that would've taken 1-2 minutes to reassure me was just too much to expect from them this past week. What I do see is five or six reviews, all sent yesterday by whoever, to bury the truth I revealed in my first Yelp entry a day ago.
