pretty much the worst company I have ever dealt with. Twice in the last year they have just stopped servicing our commercial account for no reason what so ever. I would definitely rate this company negative if I could. The owner is very unprofessional and in talks with her employees she doesn't treat them very well either. We used the service at our business location and the employees arent allowed to accept payments so the bill grew to $35 yes Thirty-Five Dollars to which the owner threatened collection. Give me a break!! After responding to her snarky email with the collection threat she replies she doesn't want to do business with people who dont pay their bills....Haha Haha! If i could rate this place in negative numbers i would. Their "manager/owner" whatever she is, is VERY unprofessional, rude and plain out terrible she couldn't give my boyfriend a reason why he was being fired, he showed up every single day for training always happy to get the job done, he was excited all around. Everyone basically used him to do the dirty work and fix their mistakes. He was even told he has to show up for a "mandatory" meeting for the business which he sat through the whole thing and a Christmas party that they held, in which he was told they "dont need him anymore" right after i cant remember which one the meeting or the party. To this day he still has no idea why he was fired or why he was even invited to either one if they were just going to let him go after. she wouldn't let him come get his last check unless it was on her time, all of their employees are rude including the boss, their just very unprofessional all around, i wouldn't suggest doing business with this place ever. read more

I would have put zero stars, but that wasn't an option. I want everybody on Yelp to know that Fish Window Cleaning in Southfield, Michigan (as well as their corporate office) discriminates against the disabled, which I won't tolerate as it affected my son's job. My son has Asperger's Syndrome, which is a form of autism. He is a fully high functional Asperger young man, and one can't even tell he has it. He was let go from his job as a window cleaner because he was afraid of heights and going on the scaffold. When told he had Asperger's Syndrome and perhaps he could just clean windows that were at the sidewalk level, they said "he signed a contract." Well, yes he did; HOWEVER, after finding out about his disability, they still refused to accommodate him, which is against the law outlined by the Americans With Disabilities Act. I even called the corporate office, who never returned my phone calls. I would love for everybody on Yelp to boycott this company and write a review shaming the LANG FAMILY for outright ignoring the Americans With Disabilities Act. We need to stand together and fight for our children, spouses, ourselves, and others who are handicapped and lose their job because of whatever disability they have, even if it's not noticeable on the outside. Companies are not allowed to discriminate based on race, creed, disability, etc., but Fish Window Cleaning feels this law doesn't apply to them. Disabled people deserve to work too, and to see my 18-year-old son so mad about not even being able to keep a job cleaning windows breaks my heart. As a business owner I keep a nice and tidy store in and out. FISH never delivered what was ordered or promised. They kept sending out two lazy window cleaners, who NEVER followed direction, after my 3rd complaint I was told that the operations manager would come out and personally clean my windows that day. NO SHOW. No show the next day either! I called today only to be told he is "out sick" today. I said this is the most unprofessional ,unorganized, backwards company I have ever dealt with. I asked for a refund and Sherry had to ask her manager, who said she will be sending a check... The whole experience start to finish was horrible, they may be cheap but remember you get what you pay for! Lazy, rude, liars. DO USE THIS SERVICE it will only bring you headaches! read more

I can completely see why Fish Window Cleaning has such a low score on Yelp. Quite frankly, they are horrible. I work in Southfield and was on my way home for lunch today when I had the misfortune of being cut off in traffic by one of their drivers. I called the number which was on the Fish Window Cleaning van (248-354-3340) to complain. I spoke with Bridgette who I later learned is the owner of this franchise location in Southfield, MI. She interrupted me every time I attempted to speak, making excuses for this driver's dangerous and discourteous actions and saying that "everybody does it" (everybody cuts people off). When I tried to counter that, while it may be the case that "everybody does it", it's not necessarily good for business to have someone driving one of your company vans with your company's name and number on it and representing the company in a rude and disrespectful manner. Again, I didn't get to finish my sentence before she interrupted me. I finally told her that this whole experience is leaving me with a negative impression of Fish Window Cleaning and that I will make sure that my company does not employ their services now or in the future. At that point, she hung up on me. I then called Fish Window Cleaning national headquarters (877-707-3474) and spoke with Shawn in Franchise Support. He was polite and professional and said he would look into the matter, but I somehow get the feeling nothing more than a slap on the wrist is going to take place and that nothing will change at the Southfield franchise location. If I've had this horrible of an experience with Fish Window Cleaning just over the telephone when simply trying to make a legitimate complaint, I can only imagine how horrible their work is. Based on my experience and the other four reviews here, I can surmise that they don't care at all about anything other than taking your money and leaving you dissatisfied. Yea, elsewhere indeed. Just had them over and I can still draw a line in the dirt on my sills. The older guy who did the exterior and seemed to know what he was doing came in and did the last two interior windows while the younger kid was finishing up. I hear him tell him that these type of windows have to be taken off completley so the part that overlaps can be cleaned. So he did that on the two windows but was not done on any other window. Not happy and $155 out the window. Will be calling them back for a reclean and never again. Should have done my homework. Used them before with halfway decent results but nothing special. I mean they dont even have a vaccuum cleaner on them. Dirt pushed into the corners, dead ants on the sill. etc,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,????????????????????????? I had my windows cleaned a week ago and this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. The window cleaners knocked down one of my blinds and didn't tell me. I just had these blinds professionally installed because I just moved in. Also, when the blind fell it made a huge gash in the inner drywall surrounding the window. I noticed this right off because I just had my whole house painted and it removed the paint. The cleaners tried to put the blind back up without telling me. A minute after they left, I attempted to adjust the blind and it completely fell down. I tried calling Fish Cleaning at least three times but could only leave a message (I left two). I called them on the following Tuesday and was told that the manager would call me back. I'm still waiting for a call back. The did an okay job cleaning the windows but did not clean out the inside or wipe the sills. I do not recommend using them because anyone who doesn't care to call back a customer doesn't deserve my money. read more

If your looking for a trustworthy and credible company fish is it. They are very considerate and flexible with my time. Any concerns have been explained in detail in person by a manager. No streaking or cob webs on our outside windows. I had a cracked window. (No prior knowledge) Which was pointed out by their staff. the window is in a room I don't frequent, but thankfully I was able to catch it before winter! read more

Where to begin.......I had my free estimate from the owner ( in writing) who came to our house himself. They also called to confirm the estimate over the phone. I verified two times with the lady on the phone that I was getting the works and went through each individual item I wanted done...sills, screens, inside, outside, ect. She acted very strange and had me on speaker phone. I heard her whisper the estimate to someone else and then her tone changed to basically she didn't care anymore and was pissed that I was given that price (by the OWNER no less!!). They called to reschedule the first week. I said no problem, the following week was fine. When they showed up an hour and a half late, they told my husband that I had said anytime that day was fine!! Which I DID NOT! Once they started, my husband began checking after they would finish. Multiple screens were not taken out, sills were not touched and on top of that, this PROFESSIONAL WINDOW CLEANING company didn't know how to put screens back IN!! My husband shorted them $35 and told them to leave after having to tell them to go back over things SEVERAL times. We will NEVER use this company again. I have yet to call. Zero stars was not a possibility or it would have been that based on my experience. read more
