Better yet have an attorney look at the contract. I was negligent and naive and deeply regret it. Rock Solid owns you once you sign the contract and the 48 hours cancellation option passes. Fact - if you want to terminate the contract, whether they have started the job or not, you will be required to pay one third of the contract price. They will also want you to sign a non-disclosure so that you will not be able to say anything disparaging about their company. Luckily I was able to get this clause voided. How many others have been silenced. Thinking of taking legal action, you agree to pay all of their legal fees when you sign the contract. At $500.00 an hour and up, even if you win, you will lose financially. There is a list of excuses for not doing the job in a timely manner, and they are not afraid to use them. There are a multitude of excuses on the back of the contract for not doing the work and they used many of them on my job. Our contract did not show a completion date, which means they can string you out indefinitely and you have no recourse. I paid my one third termination fee and went with another contractor. Buyer Beware.

She told me he would stop by and then I would be contacted with a quote. He called and gave me a price of $150 for outside windows/screens and $200 to power wash the 2 story house. I have a colonial, with a single floor room off the back of the house with a three car attached garage. He text me to let me know an estimated arrival time of 1:30-2pm (as I was told sometime in the afternoon) when we scheduled. Once he arrived and had started I asked if he could also include our deck being washed. No problem he said and of course I stated I knew the charge would be more, the deck was an additional $375 for a total of $725. I am very please and will call him for my fall clean up.

From the materials delivery company, to the project manager's (PM) pre-job contacts, to the on-site workers, everyone was friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with. Although the noise WAS horrific, we knew it would be!! The finished roof looks awesome. The PM did a post-job inspection the next day to address any remaining nails on the ground (not many), and picked up excess materials not used. Dumpster picked up next day.
