They were, but didn't need replacing according to Machens, 5 mm pad left. Today's oil change, at 86,000 miles I suggested they check the rear pads. When they did, they told me they were at 7 mm, meaning after 6,000 miles of driving, they actually got thicker. So, when I called them out on this, they filled out the paper work at 6 mm.
