for starters the building is out of square. two of the poles are scabbed at the top just to reach the top of the trusses with 2x4's. every screw that was installed to secure the metal was tightened to the point of denting the metal and some even missed the wood. for the ones that missed they just globed silicone on them and called it good. When they put the banner board on instead of removing the drillings they just laid it on top of the dirt. which put the front doors two feet of the driveway. There answer to me was just bring in Shail. They could do this for an extra fee of course. But the real kick in the nuts was when they put the post in the ground, they never put anything under them for footing. Mister fisher insisted they put concrete in the holes, but none was onsite to do so. I was here to receive the materials at that time and the apparent skid of concrete that was ordered never existed. but regardless the footings where to be 36" round by 8"thick disc of concrete not just a bag of ready mix. as for the warranty it holds no water. I was told mister fisher by Levi himself that he been building buildings for thirty years and he was not interested in reinventing the wheel to do so. long story short now I'm stuck paying for a monstrosity with no satisfaction over the last for years. That i wish i would have gotten someone honest. If you have fishers build your building better watch for the short cuts there everywhere and the warranty is as good as the toilet paper in the locale gas station. read more

After the site prep a team of 6 young men showed up and my building was completed in less than 6 hours!!! They worked like a well-oiled machine! So efficient and each worker had a specific job. There was little to no communication between the workers. I was AMAZED at their efficiency!! read more

I had a 30x48x12 pole building built and over all the building looks good. However the first thing to consider with fisher brothers is the fact they seem to just do the planning and subcontract the work out. My building was completed by 100% Amish contractors so you could probably save some change by cutting fisher brothers out of the loop. Overall the company was good to me until I had leaks around my windows "roughly 8-10 months after building completion" and Leroy with Fisher Bros. has no concern for such inconveniences. 3/5 star rating is completely accurate, if you want the Amish to build you a building then just go approach them.. There's no need to let the Fishers bros take some money off the top and not stand behind their contractors work. God Speed Leroy. read more

Really easy to work with. I had a hard time deciding on features and options, but they patiently worked with me on providing proposals for everything I wanted to consider. Like some other reviewers have stated, the work will only take about 2-1/2 to 3 days to complete. We were very eager to work with Fisher Brothers Builders in Upper Mifflin, Pennsylvania, however, our experience leads us to not recommend them for serious builders. We thought it odd when we were asked to drive up to Upper Mifflin to discuss what we wanted to have done (semi-custom wood shop using a picture in one of their advertisements) instead of the contractor coming to the property. Looking back they didn't seem to committed to the work. We provided them with drawings for a semi-custom wood shop and we were eager to work with them, however, I think their preference is to run with their standard construction projects that they can quickly complete and move on to the next job. They do not appear to be adequately staffed and able to accommodate semi or custom construction projects. We were expecting to spend between $50,000 and $75,000 to complete the build with my husband completing some of the work after the framing was done. After meeting with them we were told they'd get back to us within two (2) weeks. The original telephone call and meeting went very well. After many, many follow-up telephone calls and e-mails trying to find out when we could expect the quote we finally gave up after while on a telephone call the owner stated they would have something out by the end of the week and nothing was produced. If they did not have the skill to complete the work, or they did not want to step outside of completing "standard type of kit buildings", they should have just said that in the beginning. Why waste anyone's time. I think they acted very unprofessional and after several follow-up calls for them to continue to say they would follow-up by a specific date and not leads me to question their integrity. We would not recommend them to anyone looking for a semi-custom or custom building. If you want one of the "sheds/buildings" you see already framed/built they should be fine. I would encourage individuals to look for another builder if you are looking for any semi/custom construction. We had high hopes but not a go. :-( read more

We are beyond happy we got to work with him at Fisher Brothers. Daniel is amazing to work with, he was always timely and easy to talk with and get a hold of. No matter what things came up or changes he was so helpful.We couldn't speak highly enough about the crews from Fisher Brothers!! From the beginning they were so nice and respectful and so fast, overall such hard workers!! We had quite the job for them and they did amazing. I was still working home during construction, which i am sure was a pain for them, but they always kept everything clean and were mindful that i was there. I also can't count the days it was freezing outside and they worked through it all day, we even had a bad snow storm one day and the one guy came and stayed all day, even having to be plowed out when he finally left.The work they did at our house is still something we admire everyday! They were faced with some tough tasks considering our house is very old and challenges could pop up every day and always recommended the best options. My family are all in the construction business and they were always so impressed with the work when they came to visit. Everything was done with 100% quality and craftsmanship.
