I had always wanted to get some professional photos taken and decided this would be a good year. I had some questions and Sarah was very responsive and happy to help. I was lucky that she had some availability that matched with our schedule. She was able to get us in right away. She let us choose between Chestnut Ridge and a Christmas tree farm to take pictures, it was nice to have some input. She brought some props and welcomed bringing your own if you had something special. We brought our new puppy and were excited to incorporate her into our family pictures. My significant other and I aren't really into taking pictures. We never take any when we go out but felt motivated this year to have some nice ones for our home and a Christmas card. I think we weren't quite sure what to expect and were just hoping for the best. I am happy to share that Sarah made us very comfortable and made the session fun. Nothing felt forced or staged too hard which was a bonus. She got us our edited pictures back very quickly and we were thrilled with the results. I went to the shoot completely under prepared. I had no idea how to pose, what type of background I wanted, or what unique touch I wanted to add to make the photos my own. T&D had that completely handled for me (such a breath of fresh air :) They showed me a few different "maternity" poses and had 2 perfect locations already planned for me. Timothy is such a perfectionist in the perfect way. He really knew how to bring out the "Top Model" in my partner and me, who had no clue what to do with ourselves in pictures. The chemistry between Timothy and Deanne was amazing. It definitely rubbed off on us and made our pictures even more beautiful. It also seems like every vendor is has their own agenda which further complicates the entire process. This is why I loved the work that Yuliya and Oleksiy did for our wedding, I just got a copy of the pictures and I couldn't be more pleased. All you have to do is a take a look at their web site to see they are great photographers and the work they did for us was phenomenal. I guess as some one who has just gone through the whole process I see value in this review if I can express or share something you can't get from a contract, email exchange the many things you can gleam from the long grueling and painful wedding planning process. This is the one moment of truth item, its the fact that they cared and did the things they had to do to make it a great experience, believe me when i tell you not every vendor cares. The Yuka team was extremely friendly to our guests, they stuck to the letter of the contract and if anything exceeded our expectations. They were so kind and it made the day easy. Yuliya and Oleksiy cared and it showed in the product from the actual day of the wedding up until i just got a copy of my pictures a few minutes ago. Yulia has a great eye, she was able to see locations, opportunities and venues and and take advantage of them and it resulted in great pictures. She has the patience of a saint listening to the various photo suggestions people in the wedding party, in addition to family members. They were devoted through out the whole process and if we have an opportunity we would use them again. Yuliya and Oleksiy also handled my sisters weddings and they both feel the same way I do. This was what we were trying to avoid and ultimately why we chose and paid for two photographers. We wanted to accommodate for breaks, and anything else that might come up while still having one photographer to cover. Olivia offered a partial refund for this, but ultimately went back on her word and provided zero compensation. She stated that they, "fulfilled their contract." I would have to disagree, if you pay for two photographers - you should get two photographers, or at least one when you need them! I would feel terrible if other couples weren't advised of this going into a contract with her. This was, as it is for most couples, the most expensive part of our wedding day. Though we have lots of great shots, it's a stain on my memory to think of the many missed opportunities.

We wanted a quick little session for some family photos when my son was around 1.5 years old. The weather was starting to warm up and we wanted to capture some actual photos of us all that weren't taken with an iPhone. Paul and I set up a quick session for a day/time that worked well with weather and found a nice spot to meet up for photos. I did say my son was 1.5 years old right? So he was not thrilled about sitting still for photos. Paul's ability to grab candid shots, entertain a toddler, and even make the impossible task of capturing a rambunctious toddler on camera happen almost seamlessly. My wife was so blown away with the photos Paul took, she immediately told me we will have to go back and have another session when our son is a bit older. (Plus we have to bring the dog in too) Paul will not only capture the perfect photo for you, but the work he will do to make you feel comfortable, camera ready, and deliver a great product is unmatched. Booking was a breeze and it was clear he knew what he was talking about in the initial phone call. A huge perk was that he was friendly and knowledgeable and got along well with the owners of the venue! I felt confident that he was getting the job done in the interim months when there isn't a lot of contact needed. Exactly a month before the wedding, he had reached out ALREADY KNOWING WHAT I PLANNED WITH MY VENUE! I couldn't be more happy with the service on that. While Chris and I never met in person, I felt so comfortable. The weeks leading to the wedding, he was readily available for questions/concerns/logistics. Meeting with my vendors, giving suggestions on wedding day flow and making the magic happen. He probably did more behind the scenes that I didn't even have to put thought into. He was just that good. DJ Pauly Paul was the MC for our event and he was very knowledgeable and quick with a song that would get the guests on their feet. Somehow playing crowd pleasers and songs that hit my particular taste. Everyone 21-70 years old was on the floor. Paul reached out with great suggestions and guides for the specific music. Our wedding had 3 sound stages, which I know was difficult. The team handled it with grace and coordination- like they loved the challenge, not at all like a burden or chore. Keith and Pauly Paul were behind the scenes heroes making it all happen. Transporting equipment, lighting and the audio guest book just happened. No one even realized the transition happened until it happened. I would also suggest the audio guest book! I was initially unsure but Chris graciously put it at our venue. Guests were fun with it- especially after a few drinks. Uplighting is also a must! My venue was Farrington Hollow and was particularly large. The owner of Farrington glowed about his service during our initial meeting and I soon found out the two companies work together SEAMLESSLY.
