After seeing our engagement photos, we knew we made the right decision in having them shoot our wedding! We could not be happier with our wedding photos. I am compelled to write this...Paid $600.00 FOR WHAT???? Tabitha Hollenbeck was Not professional and extremely unethical. We booked her for 2 photo sessions after seeing samples of her work. We hired her for bump to baby. After paying her she became cold with no personality. I found out later her sample work was photo shopped. She did not edit the photos for us properly nor would she answer the phone. Only responded to text. She was very rude in the text messages. Do not spend your money. You are better off taking the pictures yourself with your phone. We don't wear shoes in our house. She didn't think to tell us to wear shoes for the pictures. We saw the pictures it was awful without shoes. I had to tell her 3 times to crop out our bare feet!!! She had a nasty response because I asked her 3x times to crop our feet out of the pictures. All Our family pictures have feet cropped out. I literally had to chase her down for our pictures. She would get snippy and rude towards me.I stayed polite in order to get the pictures from her. I was at her mercy. That's not a good feeling. When I met up with her to get the flash drive and give her the final payment she was a total Jerk. She gave me a receipt after I PayPal her the money. I asked her are you going to give me a receipt for the first payment she said no because I have the receipt through PayPal. Then why write a receipt for the second part of the payment. This makes no sense. This is our first and only baby. She STOLE those special moments I wanted to capture for the rest of my life. I can never recreate them. It was monumental to me because I was pregnant and having our son during a lockdown and world pandemic. I am beyond pissed I spent money hiring her. I was better off burning $600.00 dollars!!!!

My wife and I got married in the Florida Keys and they traveled down to shoot our wedding for us. They are an absolute killer duo. To start, they were both amazing to work with, super easy to contact, so dang friendly and welcoming. I couldn't think of two better people to capture our big day. Photo and video were such a big thing for us on our wedding day, and even though we've seen so much of their work and loved it, they legit blew us away with their talent and expertise. They kept the energy so light and fun during our newlywed photos after a high stress few hours prior. They put on some of our favorite music so we could feel ourselves and loosen up during our photos. They are also both super LGBT friendly. My wife and I were super worried about who we were going to book since we are gay and we wanted to be comfortable. They were an instant vibe, sooo friendly, supportive, gay friendly and never made us feel weird for a single second (which is huge when you're being photographed)!!! They were there for us through the whole planning process to look out for us and lead us in the right direction with our timeline, etc. The ALSO partied harddddddd with us on the dance floor and made sure to capture the sickest dance floor shots for us which was so important for us to hold onto so we could look back on. Hiring Bound and Branch to photograph our wedding was one of the biggest regrets of our planning…read moreprocess. We chose their 8-hour package specifically because it included two photographers--an important detail for us, as we had a large wedding party and a sprawling venue. We wanted to ensure that all the key moments would be captured from multiple perspectives. We reached out several times before the wedding--both through their portal and via text--to try and get the names of our assigned photographers (we had a friendship bracelet seating chart and wanted to represent them!), but we never received a response. We also shared a Pinterest board to help convey the vibe we were going for--candids, black-and-white shots, editorial portraits, etc. Unfortunately, this was completely disregarded. Then came the wedding day: just as photography coverage was supposed to begin, we were informed that only one photographer would be coming. The second had apparently tested positive for COVID. We asked for proof due to a COVID clause in the contract, and the entire situation quickly soured. After the wedding, we requested a 25% refund--just for the fact that half the expected photo team didn't show up. Their response was extremely unprofessional and defensive. They explained that they don't charge for a second photographer and that their pricing is based on just one. This felt misleading--nowhere in the initial booking process was that clear, and it certainly wasn't communicated that the second photographer was essentially a "bonus" and not part of the paid service. Worse, the owner made comments like: "If you're holding me to contract standards, then I'll only deliver 350-450 photos, and any extras will cost $8 each." I was stunned. After such a disappointing experience, this felt like a threat disguised as customer service. I told them to keep the money, clearly they needed it more than I did. When we finally received the gallery, the disappointment deepened. The photos lacked the vibe we hoped for--no black and whites, very few candids, nothing artistic or emotionally evocative. We didn't even get one usable photo of our entire wedding party. Family photos were poorly composed, some with eyes closed, and important shot list items were missed completely--because, as we later learned, the photographer who showed up had never been given the list. Communication between the owners and their photographer was clearly non-existent. This was the biggest day of my life--one of the very few times I'll ever need a professional photographer to truly capture the moment. And yet, I didn't even have a single photo that felt special enough to use on our thank-you cards. That's something you can't get back, and the lack of accountability from the company made it worse. To top it off, when my best friend left a negative review based on everything we'd been through, the owner texted me privately--offering $400 to have the review taken down. That amount, ironically, is what we were told a second photographer costs them... so why wasn't this offered upfront as a refund when we asked in good faith? This experience was a painful letdown, and I would not recommend Bound and Branch to anyone looking for professionalism, communication, or any sense of accountability on one of the most important days of their life.

I just took this course (bootcamp weekend course - Photo 101) last weekend and it was eye opening!…read more All those buttons on your camera that you have no clue about b/c you et your camera to auto - well they tell you about them here - how to use them, what the best scenarios are to use them in, etc. There is a little theory, with some examples and lots of hands on practicing outside. I can't believe what a difference know a few things can do to your photos! Mine look 100x better with a few simple tweaks! They have a lot of different classes here - niche photography (ie - food photography, portrait photography...etc). The instructor I had was Lauren and she was fabulous - she answered all questions honestly and was definitely knowledgeable in her craft. I will sign up for another bootcamp class shortly as I think they are valuable to the budding photographer.
