We had some issues with 2 tours that we booked through Ride the Wave and Jim was fast to respond and assist. One of the tours we ended up having to cancel due to scheduling issues. I reached out to Jim to let him know and he worked on getting the refund process started right away and I received a confirmation email from the tour vendor the same day. We're now just waiting for it to get credited back to our card. The peace of mind of our trip being taken care of by professionals is invaluable. I can't recommend enough going through a travel agency for big trips because you just never know what could happen. Ride the Wave is as good as they come and I'm looking forward to using their services again for our next big trip!

We spent over 30 days going almost daily to work out the details. We had the list of hotels, excursions we wanted already. This company "contractor" told us that if we "PRE-PAY" we would receive better prices. It turns out that not only did we not receive discounts but were charged more. Additionally, the itinerary that had been delayed and developed four times and finally delivered (we picked it up at the office) was completely wrong, including dates, etc. We went on the trip, it was a total disaster. We came back from the vacation, had a phone call with the VP of the west Don Johnston who told us we are sorry for the mistakes. I ended $4K out of pocket. Again, the Pro-Travel Pinnacle Peak office is "NOT" customer focused. It is by far the most unprofessional / inexperienced / travel agency. I never ever have written a review in my life. So take this as a warning, stay away from this company.

Everything went exactly as planned with a detailed "book" outlining each day, hotels, restaurants, all costs including gratuities. No surprises. Land portion, a week touring the ancient sites was fast paced as advertised but covered everything. Be prepared for 6:30 wake ups and full days, lots of walking. Our Globus tour guide had degrees in Ancient History and in Archaeology, studied in London and Cairo and really made the trip memorable and educational. The Mykonos and Santorini island week was just the hotel, high speed ferry (perfect way to go), and breakfasts so we could relax with an open schedule to do what we wanted. A morning trip to Delos, an island near Mykonos and the ancient trading post of the Mediterranean, is very worth while. We added extra days in Athens before and afterward to relax, take in the museums, and try some excellent restaurants. Don't miss the Chocolat Royal restaurant (found thru Open Table) with a rooftop view of the Acropolis bathed in lights. An extra bonus was a full moon rising that particular night! ProTravel went the extra mile to make this a once in a lifetime experience.

We drove to the meeting location in a plaza where we were greeted and encouraged to use the restroom as the trip would be about 2 hours long. - we were able to get one jeep for a family of 4. -for children in car seats, they will require you to bring your own car seat to install onto the jeep. -you will drive about 30 mins to the Sonoran desert. -cruise and then photo opportunities once you get to the top. That takes about 45 mins and you'll be able to get out of the jeep to take pictures. Water is also provided as a courtesy. The kids had a great time.
