They were extremely friendly and never tried to upsell me unnecessarily. Went crabbing today in Bay Head and stopped here to buy a crab trap. They had a bunch of traps…read morestacked outside and I only bought one to see if it was worth it. The crabbing wasn't that great today but the box crab trap was a good one and I will definitely stop back my next trip to pick up another. Trap was good for either chicken or bunker. At $15 the price was right too........ While i didn't go shopping for anything else they seemed to have everything you would need for fishing or crabbing for sale inside. The woman at the register was friendly and polite. Maybe next time I could actually catch something more than a sunburn.

I placed a pretty big order as they had a reel I liked for a little cheaper then local tackle shops. When I received my order I noticed it was incomplete and what was inside was damaged. I contacted SRMO via email with attached photos of the damaged goods and listed the items missing from my order. I got a reply the following day saying: "Please return for credit Thanks" Their website states: "DAMAGED SHIPMENTS - Sometimes it happens, so rest assured that SHARK RIVER takes all responsibility, Call our toll free number to get instructions and start us shipping you another product right away. You pay nothing extra for this. All packages are insured with carrier automatically without any cost to you." They obviously don't honor the above considering their email reply.. And I'm not sure if they actually read the email since they completely ignored the missing items. I tried calling numerous times to both phone numbers. No answer...crickets... I regret not just paying a few extra bucks and shopping local. Don't make the same mistake I did - AVOID SHARK RIVER MAIL ORDER! Shop local instead.

It was my first time fishing (same for my kids) and we had an absolute blast--my daughter caught her first fish, and my son and I caught four!
