We visited this restaurant around 11am, and I ordered crab tostadas (tostadas joica I believe). The tostadas are served cold, with black beans on the tostada, and a crab salad on top with avocado. They looked awesome, however, they were incredibly salty, to the point that I could only choke down one, and I left the others. I probably should have returned them, honestly. Others at my table ordered egg dishes with fish and cheese, which they really liked. We also ordered some empanadas, which were okay. The lemonades and juices were quite sweet, but overall good. I'd give it a 2.5 overall if I could, but I'm rounding up to 3 stars.

This is the acapulco outpost of a small mexican chain, with most other locations being in or around Mexico City. It's quite big and adjacent to the mall with a street view. Bright and shiny clean. Upon being seated we were given big shot glasses of seafood broth. This stuff was incredible. I think I had my glass filled up 3 more times and I definitely could have just eaten the broth for dinner. Seriously that good. But, we didn't just eat broth and we ordered food too. I ordered a shrimp taco and a fish taco. I wasn't too hungry (perhaps because of the broth?) and I thought two tacos would be a nice small meal. I was so surprised at the size of the tacos! They were american sized, for sure. They had the shrimp or fish, beans, avocado, cheese and some sort of creamy sauce. They were excellent but just too big for me to finish. Still, I'd recommend Fishers to anyone visiting acapulco who is looking for a casual seafood option.

HIGHEST QUALITY IN ACAPULCO. A bit pricey worth it. My mom had shrimp and rice and said it was the best she ever had. She is used to eating from the best restaurants in the world because her parents were world famous chefs. I had oysters, they were the freshest I've ever had. Maybe $1 USD each? Upon arrival you will be served consumé fish broth soup and mini French bread and chips and saltines. Their breakfast French toast (tostada francés?) was FANTASTIC. honestly, better than I could have ever dreamed it to taste. They have maple syrup. They pronounce it mah-play. The seafood soup is incredible!!!! They put oysters and octopus, my fav! And I ate the lobster taco. I should have asked for it without mayo, because they put a ton and couldn't taste it. But the texture was great. I didn't care for the pescadilla. My mom and I enjoyed the crab tacos. Actually they were really good. Everything in this restaurant is TOP quality. You can ask for 2-3 cups of the complimentary soup.

Bambu is a fantastic choice if it is Thursday and you can get pozole. Both versions have loads of customization with dried cilantro and spices available as well as radishes, onions and avocado. The broth was rich and the meat was super moist. They were each served with a taquito, which is a bit tough and I would skip, as well as an excellent tostada, which is a must eat, and a chicarron, which was fresh and tasty. We loved the pozole! I was a little underwhelmed by the fish tacos, which rely on flour tortillas, and the fish quesadillas, which are more like fish tacos dorados and have little fish or cheese. As such, I cannot vouch for the regular menu, but that pozole is worth the trip. Also, the venue is excellent - right on the beach with a fabulous view - and the service is friendly and attentive. Bonus points for music on a early Thursday evening as well as professional dancers.
