Today 4/2/20 I walked into CVS on Main St. Concord and saw that the clerks behind the counter in…read morethe front of the store were not provided protection from the virus from customers. A line on the floor was ignored and no plexiglass partition was offer to protect the clerks. A small table was used with a hardly visable sign asking people to stand back 6' due to the virus. I asked the clerk why CVS did not have barriers to protect their clerks and the customers. I was told they were arriving next week. So CVS can't spend an extra $50-$100. for shipping to get these into their store to protect their employees and customers. Shameful. I won't be shopping at CVS until this virus is gone. I'll spend my $50 to $100 at another store. If CVS management, those regional managers, can't protect their employees and customers it shows no respect. Shame on CVS. Not sure why customers would go to CVS when they can go elsewhere and be protected. The management forgets, one covid-19 case linked within the store will likely close the store. That will get CVS attentiion. If it doesn't a class action law suit will.

I arrived at 5:55pm but they wouldn't let me in saying they were closing at 6pm and their clocks showed it was already past that time. Even after I showed them the time on my phone and told them I drove an hour to pick up Christmas gifts. You've got to be kidding me!!! What a bunch of brain-dead employees!!! Glad I drove 2 hours for nothing so they could clock out of their shift 5 mins earlier!!!

This pharmacy has become shockingly unprofessional, and today's experience was the breaking point…read more I am genuinely stunned by how consistently poor the customer service is -- especially from the especially rude cashier, Jackie -- and even more stunned that the owners clearly know about it, based on the many reviews describing the exact same behavior. I needed my doctor's office to release a prescription in the system. Jackie told me to call back once it was fixed. I did exactly that... and was hung up on. I assumed it was a mistake, so I called again -- only to have the phone picked up and immediately hung up. This happened five times in a row. When she finally answered, I asked why she would do that. Her response: "I don't know." I told her I would be escalating the issue and she replied, calmly and flatly, "Ok, go ahead." No concern, no apology, no sense of accountability. The attitude was honestly bizarre -- as if she knows there will be no consequences. After reading other reviews going back years, it seems this is a pattern, not an exception. It is shocking that a pharmacy -- where professionalism matters -- is allowing this to continue. I've used this pharmacy on and off for 30 years, and the decline in the last few years has been dramatic. The reported owner, Charlie, has also never returned a call in my experience. At this point, it's hard to understand how the business is being run at all.

They accused both my husband and I of lying, when they were looking at the wrong screen. They kept me on hold for over 40 minutes, my doctor sent in a script at noon yesterday with a rush because I am out of meds and it will not be done until after 4:00 as they have to have it delivered. This store has caused me so much disturbance that I will be changing all of my meds to another pharmacy as well as my husband's. My friends are also moving theirs as well, No one in the store seems to have a clue about anything and they have an excuse that points to you every time. NO MORE WALGREENS for me.

I called and was told by a manger that perhaps a new worker didn't know they could do that without a sale..... but I had made a purchase... I literally waited on the line for the manager to ask me to come back, but they just hung up. So I drove down the street and got the $5 I needed changed and will continue to go the extra feet for local businesses if the convenience of a national company is lost. Always shop local.
