I visited for last-minute flower arrangements for a wedding, and the staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly! I'm still pleasantly surprised at how well ordering wedding flowers from them worked out spontaneously and smoothly. The staff and my party chose several different seasonal flowers and greenery in stock and soon had a complete order of a bridal bouquet, maid-of-honor's bouquet, groom's boutonnière, 3 matching boutonnières, 2 corsages, and extra stems for decorating an arbor. These were all arranged perfectly, were swiftly ready the next morning, and cost a reasonable $300. ((Side note: This experience is also in contrast to another florist nearby who tried a scare tactic of stating their minimum for wedding is $500 as opposed to others having $2000. This other florist would not listen to my wish to have something simpler and seemed to make each stage of the process more difficult than it should be where I was discouraged from putting more effort into finding a florist and mentioning the word "wedding" to anyone.)) Instead I very thankfully found that ordering from Prescott's Florist, especially in comparison to that other florist, is absolutely fantastic! read more

I went in today and looked in the flower cooler for a house gift for a lunch-in I was attending. I saw a "Jar of Joy" arrangement that looked nice. It had a tag for $34.95 on it. Just 4.95 over my target of $30.00. I grabbed it and went to front to pay. They run my card and hand me a receipt that is for $39.95. I say to the women that it was supposed to be $34.95 she says "No you are mistaken it is the $39.95". Not checking or with any doubt that she was right. I go back and look in the cooler and sure and clear as day the remainder of the "Jar of Joy" are all marked at $34.95 Honestly it's not the five bucks it was the dismal of my point. It's important to note here I am a regular customer and spent over $300.00 here in the last 30 days. I won't say I will never go back, but I have changed my disposition with them. read more

Very disappointed. We called Thursday morning right at opening to order a bouquet of flowers to be delivers to a co-workers birthday for that day. We made sure to confirm that they would be delivered that day (a mile down the road) and were assured there would be no problem and they would be delivered before 3pm. They never showed up. When we called to see what happened they were closed. Not only had the recipient of these flowers been through a extremely rough week but was also not enjoying her special day. We put a lot of faith in this company to deliver a smile with one of their beautiful flower bouquets and were very disappointed when they didn't follow through. Over the years I had gone to online companies for flower deliveries but no longer. I wanted to deal with and help someone local for Valentine's Day. Prescott's was great and kudos to them for getting their website set up and easy to use to place orders. I had a last minute delivery address change and they made that happen as well. Can't recommend these guys enough. Great customer service and beautiful flowers! I ordered flowers online to be delivered to an office for my sister. I received an immediate receipt and an order confirmation the next day after the shop opened. When I found out last minute that my sister was only going to work a half day, I called the shop and they were so accommodating. They made sure her flowers were delivered that morning and were really nice about it (even when I didn't know exactly which office building at the address she worked in). Horrible flower shop. My husband ordered me roses from there, they had dried and curled edges, some of the leaves had massive amounts of little round raised black dots on them. I've seen better looking roses from Walmart that have been sitting around for a week. We are very unhappy with this flower shop. Worst flower shop ever!!! read more

I ordered a delivery of flowers for my moms birthday. They weren't able to contact her for delivery and said I had written the wrong address, this was 45 minutes before closing on a Saturday and since Monday was a holiday she wouldn't get them until Tuesday. The driver said the number on the mailbox post clearly read 29 and there's NO 27. I asked him to please go back, he wasn't happy about doing so and acted frustrated with me, but he did, I just hope when he returned he looked at the post and saw the 27. read more

I purchased flower arrangements from Prescott's to have at my wedding ceremony in Laconia at the Sacred Heart Church. I made an appointment a few months ahead and met with Patty to go over what I wanted. She was very helpful in letting me know what would be in season based on the colors I had. Living north of Boston, I called Prescott's Florist based on terrific web reviews to deliver flowers to friends who reside in that area.. Jackie was absolutely most helpful over the phone describing the options and it sounded like a very pretty creative and unique arrangement was going to be delivered to cheer up my plant and flower loving friends the next day (I called at the end of the day)! Well, I checked in with my friends to see if it was as amazing as I had a feeling it would be. As soon as my friend heard my voice, she sounded OVER THE MOON! I was nervous because I love flowers do not know them like my friends who know them all! So, the bar was raised! My friends could only describe the arrangement as gorgeous and mentioned all these names of flowers I did not know as well as two beautiful large Day Lillys (their favorite, how was I to know?). When I asked Jackie which flowers to choose for the arrangement, she said people usually leave it up to us. Prescott Florists really knows their business, I can tell the arrangement s exceptional. My friends are taking a picture to share it with me. I could have never pulled this off without Jackie and Prescott's Florist! They also stay within your budget, and were very patient and simply wonderful as far as customer service goes! Living in Boston, I had no idea who to use to deliver flowers to a relative in Laconia. I'm so glad I went with Prescott's & couldn't be happier with the truly outstanding customer service I received. Jessica especially went above & beyond! I was immediately impressed when they called to let me know that they couldn't reach the recipient by phone and did not want to leave the flowers outside the front door as they would wilt in the heat. As it turns out, I had given them the incorrect phone number and despite the fact that it was my fault and it took several days to correct the problem, they put together a fresh arrangement and made sure to deliver it in person and the recipient was thrilled. I live out of state and went online to order flowers from a shop I believed was in Laconia. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a national chain and although I was promised delivery of flowers today, the company emailed me later in the day to inform me they could not honor their commitment.
