In addition to an enormous charge for the work performed, they had to come back to hook up the GFCI they replaced and while cutting the hole for the garage switch the wall was damaged. After going over my THOUSAND dollar invoice I noticed I had been double charged one hour for one employee. I contacted Bob about it and he promised me a refund on that overcharge. It's been over a month after numerous emails to them and I have received nothing. I would not recommend this company to anyone needing electrical work.

The work is extremely overpriced and potentially dangerous (more below). First let me just share that I believe they will overcharge you if they think you will pay. After having done some work I think I already over paid for, I was quoted $4500 to run some wires from my panel for an induction stove. I was already done working with this company for reasons I'll get into below, but I had the work expertly done for $1350. I don't see how someone who has been in my house and knows my attic/setup extremely well can get to a price that high unless they are trying to rip me off. If that's not enough for you, I had wiring and a bunch of work done for my sauna. I was told the quote needed to be this high to run #2 wire which was going to be expensive. They ended up running #8 and said that was a write up error and wouldn't give any discount. Again, I think I was ripped off. Lastly, a 50 amp circuit was put in place for the sauna. The electrician placed 2 plugs on the same 50 amp circuit. Every electrician I've talked to said this is an obvious no-no and couldn't believe they would do this. After arguing with my father (40 years of licensed electrical experience) they eventually caved and refunded the money for the outlets. However, the trust was already broken. I would not hire someone who does something this dangerous and won't admit their mistake.

After calling several other companies, we landed on this one. They showed up on a busy day with the secretary telling us "they have a full plate, but I know they'll try to squeeze you in". She called them, called us back, and sure enough - they showed up within an hour. They immediately fixed the issue by rearranging all of our outlets; but the best part was this: They called before heading over to ask what supplies we had, knowing that it was my husband who had attempted the first fix. They coached him on what to pick up at the local Home Depot in order to 1.) Save some money and 2.) Save a lot of time before they arrived. They really pitied our situation! When they arrived, they explained everything in detail: what they were doing, why they were doing it that way, and how it would work now when it wasn't earlier. My husband especially appreciated that, bring that he loves learning about these kinds of skills. The inspection went perfectly and we signed the papers to sell the next day. Our buyer was a great guy, but understandably very picky in this situation - it could have gone another way. I have to give a ton of credit to On Call Electric for getting the place sold on time!
