Kyle is great - he is knowledgeable and competent and, believe it or not, he contacted me on his own to tell me his original estimate (which I had already scheduled for and agreed to) would actually be cheaper than he thought! He and his fellow workers did a great job on a very old and complicated house with multiple (but old) electrical remodels. He discussed various options (different steps of cost) for an old house that we weren't even sure we wanted to mess with and thought about demolishing. We chose a multiple step approach that turned out to be reasonable (cost and time) and now the house is much more livable and safe - and won't have to be demolished in the near future. Over the past several months we've had strange, short brown-outs in about half of our house. I had Xcel energy send a line tech out twice verify that it was not from their service. A few years ago I had the breaker box replaced and completely rewired, and wanted to have a different electrician evaluate it. R&B was responsive given this was a non-emergency, and I found the master electrician very helpful, knowledgeable, and thorough. He verified my own conclusion that there did not appear to be any household wiring or junction box problem. We did discuss that given these fluctuations and the amount of electronics in our smart home, and agreed to put in a whole house surge protection system. He did not push it, just offered it as one of a list of options. In a follow up, his team came and did a very high-quality and efficient install of the surge protection. Neither of us are certain why we saw this behavior in our power, but so far we have not seen it happen again. Some electrical problems are intermittent and hard to find, and sometimes it's hard to be sure the root cause has been found. But I think they did an excellent job, and R&B is now my go to! We've hired R&B twice now and they've done a fantastic job both times. The first time was installing CAT6 (ethernet) to most of the rooms in our house, and they were able to get everything wired up over the course of about 6 hours. Had a weird thing happening where our garage GFCI outlet would trip when it rained really hard. Called Kyle and he already knew what was happening. Said it was likely one of the outdoor outlets that was on the same circuit. He came out and as soon as he touched the outlet outside the garage door he noticed it was quite loose.
