I just had my first appointment as a new patient at Dr. Polumbo's office in Grass Valley & I've never experienced a dentist with his level of integrity, communication, and genuine care for his patients. In one visit I can tell that Dr. Tim prioritizes doing the right thing & what's best for patients, with a collaborative transparent approach, which is such a stark contrast to any other office I've experienced who are very clearly just in it for the money & keeping patients coming back. Dr. Tim is the first dentist who sat down & discussed with me simple affordable ways in which I can actually get to the root of healing and remineralizing my teeth to strengthen them & prevent any future issues like the one I came in for him to address. His EF also filled the tooth but not the chip part. Tooth still sensitive. Took him 6 months to say he would fix it and then he wanted to remove the white filling to add more. Totally unnecessary. I will go somewhere else to have tooth filled. This dentist has no integrity and he lets his inexperienced EF do more than she should.

After waiting, I went in to see Dr. Ang and he seemed to be a good dentist. He answered any questions I had and I felt as though it was a thorough check up. 6 months later I received a voicemail from the same lady, the message sounded very much so like she was mad she even had to make these "reminder calls". After some thought, I made the decision to cancel our appts. and go with another dental office. So I called her and let the same lady know how I was feeling, and she said "OK". I told her as though she made it seem like we were wasting her time and she said "OK, BYE" and hung up. Needless to say, we will NOT be returning. Dentists don't do that. He was extremely friendly and cared more about myself then just making an appointment. I showed up he didn't try and get me to pay exam fees, or other unnecessary things like most dentists would do. He helped me, he was very friendly and I can tell he truly cares about his patients. After talking to him about fillings and asking other dental procedures I can tell you this man knew his stuff. Thank you for the great service today I will be back in a few months to get a cleaning. It was nice to meet a great dentist and gain a new friend.

I only asked her if we can change my appointment to Friday and she said no. I said okay, I will come to my original appointment which is today. Right after I stepped in the office she said that my appointment is cancelled and she has nothing for me. When I opened my mouth to ask "why" she yelled at me saying "don't argue with me". So I even didn't have a chance to talk or even make another appointment. Maybe she has hearing problems or something, since neither me nor her never used the word "cancelled" on the phone yesterday, but the first thing she told me when I stepped in was "your appointment is cancelled" and "don't argue with me" and of course, in a very aggressive and impolite manner.
