I would give this establishment no stars if I could. My tag would not work often the times I would go, their "workers" are rarely doing anything and are always in the background just standing around. Weatherford fit for life closed because owner couldn't pay the rent. I went in to discuss refund for outstanding training sessions I am still owed (that was a month ago). I was told they would contact me to get me the refund. I haven't heard a word. Beware of joining this gym it may be closed because the owner doesn't know how to manage his money. read more

The owner, staff, environment are so unprofessional. It's a very judgemental gym. It's focused around girls around the age 17-20. That's what the owner and trainers like. And they must be fit and cute in order for them to meet expectations. The girls wear very little but men must be fully clothed and are not allowed cut off t shirts or will be kicked out and cussed out by owner and staff. I would not waste a penny here. I LOVE the owners and trainers at this gym. These guys can motivate anyone and are so helpful. They teach you the correct way to not only workout but to live a healthy life. I would recommend them to anyone who is in the area. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!! read more

Warning to anyone considering a membership at Fit for Life!!! They will continue to draft your bank account for years after you have tried to cancel the membership, even when they close down 2 gyms and are now onto a 3rd far from my home. Never give them your banking information! When email addresses, physical addresses, phone numbers keep changing, and no one returns calls from the new gym in Fort Worth. I contacted my bank to try to stop the drafts. They say that they cannot stop it, that Fit for Life has to agree to cancel. I have an immune disorder and leukemia and cannot walk into a gym due to compromised health. They draft $31.39 from my bank account each month 4 years after I walked into the gym last, before my diagnosis. If you want to join a gym, look into a different franchise. This one is set-up to defraud you for years. I am going to have to hire an attorney to get mine membership drafts stopped. read more

there is a reason the other location shut down....bad management. You can use his business model and attitude as a perfect way to lose customers and piss people off. Write a bad review or disagree with him and he'll cancel your membership. read more

The owners are heartless, cowardly thieves. They signed numerous people up for 1 year memberships - where most of those members paid in full. They then sent out a sloppy email (which I NEVER received) informing the members that they would be closing their Weatherford location in one week but in reality, it closed the very next day. Also to note, their own employees at that location (some who have worked there for 10+ years) found out they were closing at the same time the members did. These disgraceful owners have since REFUSED to give any one of those paid in full members a cash refund of any kind AND left their hardworking employees high and dry, on top of giving them zero notice that they were about to be out of a job. Zero integrity. The owners are so rampently dishonest, both personally and professionally, that they have inspired me to write my first review. I hope that this will give anyone else searching for a new gym a moment of pause to allow them to reflect on how others employed and served by these individuals have been treated. They are not only willing to treat you shamelessly and rip you off but feel as though they are "within their contractual rights". I just wanted to represent myself and others who were wronged and it is my hope that no one else will support any of their remaining locations. Please proceed cautiously when dealing with these individuals and if there are no better alternatives at least ensure you are only paying month to month. Limit your liability in the event they suddenly fold up shop because they'll proudly take your money and run leaving you with little recourse. read more
