After moving from Chicago to Palm Springs, I was searching for a gym that combined community with the kind of workouts I love. Having done CrossFit for seven years, I wanted a place that offered strength training, HIIT, and personal coaching, but also felt welcoming and motivating. Fit in 42 delivers on all of that. The community is strong and supportive, and the coaches give each person real attention. I mostly do the semi-private training sessions, max six people per class, and it feels like having a personal trainer who also keeps you connected to a team. I also love dropping into the 42 Strong HIIT classes for an extra push. The coaches here are excellent!! Every one of them sets the bar high for both expertise and encouragement. The workouts are challenging, well-structured, and varied, and the coaches know how to tailor them to individual goals. What stands out most is that this gym is more than just a place to work out. It is a place where you feel part of something, and where results and connection go hand in hand. Not only have I been meeting my fitness goals, but I've also made lifelong friends here. I can't say enough fabulous things about Fit In 42. I'm spending winter in Palm Springs and was looking for a gym while here for three months. Did I ever hit the jackpot! The owners and coaches at Fit In 42 are incredible, high energy, encouraging, and supportive. The workouts are creative and have incredible variety, while being challenging in all the right ways. I've been going to Fit in 42 for a couple of years. I highly recommend it as a 46 yr old who sits at the computer all day. They offer a mix of cardio and boxing together with weights and the changing routines keep you engaged. The first week I was so sore but then as I kept going I noticed a huge change in my energy level and stamina. I try to go at least three times a week and I love how many classes they offer, even on weekends. The staff is super friendly and supportive. It feels like a family! read more

I'm visiting from out of town and I sent a message through their web site and a nice girl called me back within 24 hours. She was/is very welcoming and explained the gym. $25 drop in class and just show up or use the app. The gym is so clean and very well equipped. All the instructors are nice and welcoming. The members are nice and helpful when I asked questions. The workout is very clear and the instructors explain each exercise , time allocation, and rotation clearly. The TV screens have the work out plan on 3 sides of the gym. There was a warm up and short stretch after each workout. I was here for the weekend and took two classes. I'm definitely coming here again when I visit again. Great workout and I love that they have early weekend classes. So I could sneak out without disrupting anyone in the house. Oh they also use the My Zone heart rate monitor so I got my MEPs for my workouts too! If you live in Palm Springs this is a great gym and a great way to workout. If you are visiting from out of town this is a great place to drop in. Please call them to verify classes mainly because they do have fitness challenges that might change the class times a bit. We're here for a short period of time and we needed a good workout for the time we were here. "Fit in 42" graciously gave us a free trial and was it worth it. I recommend training here with these coaches 100%. The workouts are challenging and leave you knowing you're on your way to achieving your goals. This review is long overdue. I've been going to fit in 42 since October of 2021. I started out doing the 42 day challenge which was not for me at all. I wasn't ready to make that kind of change in my life yet. I did however stick to doing the classes which are amazing! At first I couldn't even do one regular push up. I felt discouraged because everything was such a challenge for me. I now see changes in my body that I thought I could never achieve. I am so much stronger and feel so much better than I ever have. I enjoy going to class. It has become a part of my routine. I enjoy the music and the coaches are always helpful. Joel was always my favorite coach because of his music choice and his jokes. Signed up at Fit42 two months ago. From day one I could feel the love and acceptance. Dulce was awesome in sitting with me and explaining how the focus here is so much more than just a number on the scale. I caught a glimpse of the 42 program (accidentally went to one of their classes) and was so taken aback listening to Ryan's pep talk to them before class. I remember last year during the pandemic I was so uncomfortable with my physical appearance after gaining weight. I gave birth before the pandemic and once lockdown happened it got worse! I enrolled in May 2021 when I seen a promotion for The Lean Mommy Makeover. That's exactly what I got!! A makeover, I was finally starting to get in shape again! I wish I would've signed up the first time I inquired 6 months before!! Signing up was the best decís I could have made. I have always been physically active but this gym is in no comparison to any other!! You will not find trainers like the ones here. They recognize you personally, to help you achieve your goals. The exercises were out of my comfort zone but with the motivation from Dulce Ryan and Joel they helped me believe in myself and naturally, I found myself achieving results and my body became familiar with being active again! This an awesome gym ! I joined 2 months ago and since day 1 I've felt welcomed from the owners (Dulce&Ryan) and all their employees. Their classes are such a great workout. I love that everyday is something different and I leave soaking sweat. The coaches for these classes are very encouraging of you and I love that they have other employees walking around the class to add additional encouragement throughout workouts. Can't tell you how many times that's helped me personally to keep going and not give up to easily. In addition to workouts they provide education/guidance on nutrition and they have programs that you can take advantage of to challenge you even more, plus they are tons of fun. On top of this they also sell pretty much all the supplements you'll need to be successful and they are great products too so I just do my shopping there :). Overall I'm very happy I joined this gym at this location and I'm excited to see more progress than I've already noticed and achieved. I've been working out in these gym group class structures for almost a year. Started at another gym last year (not in the 42 family), but made the move the Fit in 42 PS in December 2019. BEST DECISION EVER. Fit in 42 PS has the best trainers/coaches, best front desk person, super duper clean facilities, and super duper nice clientele. Combine that with the most ass kicking workouts and it's a win win win all around. So happy I made the move to Fit In 42 with Ryann, Dulce, and Alex!!! There is nothing but positivity, encouragement, and hard work. This gym has group activities (optional) like hikes, field days, holiday parties, and more! Bonus points for low lighting and not thumping club volume music (now I can bring my wife along from time to time!) More bonus points for being very LGBT friendly! And even more bonus points for being a whole body wellness gym - mind, body, soul - they will help it all. Been going here since October last year and have seen so much progress! My body feels amazing, my stamina has gone up and I have more energy! I love the competitions we have like the holiday challenge and the summer meltdown. It brings a competitive edge to my workouts! I absolutely LOVE the staff!
