This place feels like a friendly neighborhood gym but it has all the equipment you need to get a complete workout anytime 24/7. The owners and staff are very welcoming and helpful.They're also quick to fix any problems that arise with the equipment. A few reviewers have said 24 Fit Fix is small. I guess maybe it is but it contains plenty of free weights, machines and aerobic devices. What's missing are the wide open spaces some gyms have for classes and such luxuries as a pool, spa, etc. Not missing are changing rooms, making it a lot easier to stop in on your way somewhere else and get showered off before you leave. I have belonged to several other gyms in the Palm Springs area and this one is by far the most convenient and friendly. Did I mention the price is right and there's plenty of parking? I have been coming here for about a little over 3 years and have not been disappointed. Natalie really does a great job maintaining the gym and keeping every member happy. When you don't want a crowded gym and more one on one time for yourself then this is the gym for you. Why not 5 stars? No real locker room. However, I can live without that. I checked this location out on Yelp before deciding to go visit. When I entered, the young lady behind the counter was having a conversation with a member. She asked what I needed and told her she would be with me shortly. She asked me to help myself to fruit or coffee and turn on the TV. I waited just a few minutes before she was ready for me. She asked me if I were looking to join, then offered to show me around. The location is small but has most everything one would need to get a good workout in. The tour took maybe 90 seconds. My only real question was when they got busy. She looked at me and said that they never really got busy. She told me that there were people in there all day long and even overnight, but never crowded. That sold me. I was offered the option of doing a year membership or a month-to-month, at a higher rate. I chose the year option. With membership, you get access 24 hours a day. Entry is made through scanning your membership card, at the door. Security is available, even at night. The location is monitored and there are even "panic buttons." I've gone several times now. I like it here. Will I ever love working out? Nope. However, I could not like working out in much worse places! ha ha Discounts available at local businesses. While planning a vacation in Cathedral City, I was hoping to be able to utilize the gym for the week that I was going to be in town. I ended up going with 24 Fit Fix because they were the only 24 hour gym close by that would sell me a day pass and/or a week pass. The local Planet Fitness told me that I would have to join their gym officially and then cancel my membership. No thanks! I called a couple times and 24 Fit Fix manager Natalie was very kind and informative. Since it was my first time going to her gym, she set up a time to meet with me. She let me purchase a one day pass for $10, and gave me a scan card. I wasn't sure how many days I was going to be able to come in, so she said I could always pay another day rate if I returned, to ensure that I didn't pay for more days than I would use. The gym was incredibly clean and lots of machines had their own tv's and headsets. I used an elliptical, but also saw some treadmills and free weights and various types of equipment. The atmosphere was quiet. They had one small unisex bathroom with one shower in it. I found it to be adorably decorated and the teeny little "lobby" in the front had a Keurig and some magazines. Natalie's dog happened to be with her that morning in the back office, and he came to greet me while I was filling out paperwork. He was super sweet. This is a quiet small gym where the owner, Natalie, is friendly and makes fitness non-intimidating and fun. I have done Natalie's boot camp training, which was not as intense as others. She offered interval workouts that didn't seem too difficult, though my body definitely felt the impact a couple days later. Grateful for this gym that truly is passionate about helping their patrons to reach their goals. Positive mindset messages on the walls as well. Feeling the desire to help make a difference in the lives of those who are looking to be healthy and inspire them forward. Staying right near here for a while and needed a gym. Clean, reasonably well equipped. Rebecca was super friendly and I didn't need a long talk or a long tour so that was nice to not be pushed. But If I needed help, it would definitely be there. Probably will grab a 6 month membership for my time in the area. Nice place. read more

I have worked out at every gym in this valley and not one holds a candle to Fitness 1440. Extremely clean and professional, not a meat market! Totally a fitness atmosphere. Nick and I were looking for a place in the Palm Springs area that would offer a clean, well equipped, and cheap gym for a day pass. Fitness 1440 is ideal! Only about 5 minutes from DT Palm Springs and they have everything that a standard 24 Hour Fitness would have, minus a locker room, but I can live without that. We joined the gym this spring and loved it. The machines are first rate, the gym is kept clean and the instructors are excellent.

Fitness 1440 is a great place to train and has a great vibe of health and wellness. On the back wall is states - "mind, body, spirit" - that is the whole package together for living a healthy lifestyle. Their equipment is clean, and always functional. The staff is friendly and more than accommodating. This is a great place to train if you like to get in and get your work done, but they also offer knowledgeable personal trainers who can push past plateaus and take you to new levels of fitness. Best gyms too for those traveling and stopping by the Palm Springs area or just there for the weekend and want to burn the party calories from the night before. I live in Hawaii and on the Masters US SKi team circuit and train for Nationals. It has all the equipment I need and the place is kept very clean. There's a nice lounge area with TV and coffee if you want. Been a member for a couple years & enjoyed the gym, but moved out of area & have cancelled membership but they continue to charge me. My daughter cancelled her membership as well & they sent her to collections even though she was completely paid up.
