I've been going to Fitness CF in North Clermont for the last six months and I honestly don't know why I'd ever drive anywhere else. This place has literally everything you need for a top-notch workout. The weight floor is massive with plenty of squat racks, benches, and cable machines that are always clean and ready to go. Cardio equipment is top-tier, the functional training area is loaded, and the group classes (especially the strength and HIIT ones) are fire. Whether you're chasing PRs or just trying to stay consistent, they've got the setup to make it happen. What really sets them apart is how well they've thought through recovery. They've got dedicated stretching zones, foam rollers, mobility tools, and even a solid cool-down area that actually encourages you to take care of your body after you destroy it in the gym. Most places give you the weights and call it a day -- Fitness CF actually gives you the tools to recover properly so you can keep showing up stronger. The only thing that would push this gym from "already amazing" to "literally perfect" is if they added a red light sauna and cold plunge. Those two pieces would take recovery to another level and make this place unbeatable. Hint to management: the demand is there! Clean facility, friendly and knowledgeable staff, great music, and never feels overcrowded even at peak times. If you're anywhere near North Clermont, do yourself a favor and sign up. I have enjoyed this gym for few years now, staff is so helpful. Staff is always making sure the gym is taken care of. Equipment is keep clean and working. If there is any remodeling or construction happening inside the gym its never for to long. And restrooms and always stocked and clean. Now I have been a Zumba instructor at this location for 2 years now (Wednesday at 10:30a) the staff is just as helpful. And day care staff is so friendly and great with my special needs son. Daycare staff make sure he is safe as well as the other children. And if at anytime my child has had a problem they do not hesitate to locate me if they can not solve it. Which for me lets me do my class or my own work out with no worries or stress. I definitely recommend this gym to any mom friends I come across that need a little selfcare time. read more

Fitness CF - Clermont North is an amazing place to work. You ought to try a Zumba Class or 2, especially with one that I consider the best Zumba instructor out there. Her name is Belkys. She is a ball of energy that makes class very fun. Exercise in disguise they say, and that is really what it feels like. I always feel saddened that the 1 hour of dancing goes by so quickly but after class, while not lift weights or recover by stretching. Yelp is making me leave another review for updates photos :/ I love the equipment they offer - ABSOLUTELY. It used to be a Gold's and so appreciate the equipment they still kept and have! Ample space and many varieties of fitness opportunities even when busy! I also love the facilities they offer like the Zen room and sauna. That is my absolute pros about this place. Cons: * Taking away the sanitizing bottles and towels. * Lack of sanitizing stations compared to the number of machines around and it's inconvenient locations * When a machine is broken or sauna turnaround time takes forever, *** The above is a upsetting because of monthly membership fee AND once a year facility fees*** * Bullying is something I've experienced from a couple of patrons AND employees/trainers. Very well maintained gym. Some of the equipment is quite old and there doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to where some of the equipment is located but there is plenty of it. Big facility, clean, TV wall for cardio, nice other amenities. I really love coming here. I recommend it. read more

I have been coming to this gym for a few years now since it was a Gold's Gym. The transition to Fitness CF was seamless from my perspective as a member. The gym is fairly large with lots of workout areas. It never seems to be too crowded leaving you with a wide variety of machines, weight stations and free weights to choose from. They have a very large childcare area for those needing childcare while they workout. I tend to stick with either the cardio theater or group fitness classes. The cardio theater is a carryover from the Golds Gym era and offers movies while you exercise. There is a list of movies on the door indicating the movie of the day and it changes weekly. The room is dark for the movie watching and has several treadmills, bikes, ellipticals and stair climbers. I have never had an issue finding a machine. My favorite is the wide selection of group fitness classes. Having a regular schedule helps keep me on track so it works out great. You need to check in at the kiosk located outside the room as classes are limited to the number of participants, especially with COVID precautions. The instructors I have taken have all been awesome. You can modify the class to your fitness level in just about every class. My favorite classes there are Zumba, BodyPump, TRX and BodyCombat. All the Zumba instructors are different so make sure you try different ones and you will likely find some favorites. They are all my favorites lol. The gym closed down in March for COVID but opened a couple months ago with many precautions in place. They have done a great job working to help keep all of us as safe as possible within the gym. Temperature checks upon entry, guided entry and exit doors, hand sanitizer bottles and towels, spaced out equipment and marked floor spaces in the group fitness studios for social distancing to nam3 a few things. The group fitness floors are cleaned between each class so the hour long classes are shortened by 15 minutes to allow for cleaning by staff and members. The only thing I wish is that more weekend and 7:30 evening classes would come back on the schedule but I know that is just a matter of time. Just need to be a little more patient. :) read more

I moved to the area nearly 2 years ago and have enjoyed every class I have taken. Becky , Stacy Dee, Lauren , and Elaine are the instructors that I attend on a regular basis but all are incredible. Les Mills is offered here and the programs are so effective. The atmosphere is like seeing my fitness family. I look forward to seeing them every day. I am greeted by a smile both coming and going through the front door. The female locker room is alway clean and stocked. looking forward to many good years ahead. I have not heard any negative comments from the daycare area though I don't have any children in there but know many that do. Good luck with your fitness journey read more

Spacious and reasonably well kept. Lots of free weights which is a plus. Plenty of mirrors for you to stare at your progress or to stare at others progress. You get thermometer check everytime you enter and also get hand sanitizer throughout the facility. Some wear mask others do not. Everyone has to have a spray bottle and rag to wipe down any equipment they use. Not sure how much they offer for a membership as I've always come in as a guest. But they have everything you need for a solid workout with plenty of space between you and someone else. CrossFit, cardio, sauna, free weights, rope work, and more. They have most everything covered here. Even lockers and showers so you really can come here before or after work. read more

I now have been here for several workouts and the place is feeling more comfortable. I may have been a bit harsh on my first review. I now have a better feeling for the fitness center and it works. The one thing I really enjoy about this center is the fact they have a sauna in here. My gym at home does not and I can't begin to tell you the difference I feel after coming out of the sauna and having a good workout. If you are new to the area or are just vacationing give them a try you will like it. Great workout facility! I was in town to work hurricane Ian damage for a few days and went by to see if I could buy a day pass or temporary membership. The young lady at the front desk allowed me to get a free workout in to check the gym out. She told me if I wanted to come back I could buy a weeks membership. I came back a couple days later to buy the temporary membership and the guy at the front desk told me don't worry about it I could work out again for free! I came back the third time and they allowed me to buy the temporary pass and she even extended it further than a week. Great service and great place to work out! read more

I've been a member of this gym for over a decade. It is kept clean and well organized. Even though it is a busy gym, they have plenty of equipment so I rarely have to wait for any particular equipment or machine. Love the sauna too. Friendly and accommodating staff. I used to be a member of CF fitness for almost 2 years. The only reason I'm not a member is because I moved to Tampa. My experience at this gym has been exceptional. I love the facility it is spacious lots of machines and equipment. It's very clean they give you your own spray bottle. What I Love the most about this gym is the staff. Everyone is so nice. They have amazing customer service. I really wanted to give a five-star rating. However, I was really disappointed today with a staff member. There was a staff member that mocked me. This person mocked me like they were upset at me. The only thing I said was Hey. I was really confused because this staff member has always been nothing but amazing. I understand people have bad days but it was really uncalled for and out of nowhere. Honestly, I didn't say anything because i was caught off guard by this person's behavior. I might come back when I am in town but if it happens again I will say something to the employee and their manager. read more

This is a decent gym, they have a great manager (Lorenzo Durias) he helped resolve all my problems perfectly from my past post. It's a big gym and open late so you can work out at midnight if you like to avoid crowds. Just pay attention to the contract and be firm with the sales people make sure you know your enrollment terms and your exit terms. I went here because it is close to my home. It has all the necessities that a gym has to offer. Although it is under construction, it is kind of dingey in the woman's room. It is clear that they are doing renovations. I also feel that they could benefit from having some windows in that place. It is REALLY REALLY dark. The flooring needs to be changed but other than that, it serves its purpose. The membership fee and initiation fee is reasonable. read more

So I had some overdue payment fees at CF. When I explained the situation, they were more than happy to waive the fee. I love this place. I was visiting family and needed a place, luckily I found this. I'm old school, and remember when this was Publix . The location covers a lot of whatever people prefer for fitness. There were free weights, CrossFit type stuff, a variety of cardio, group exercise rooms, women's only area, and child care (with monitors for parents). I worked out twice over the weekend and noticed a variety of people without any conflict. This would definitely be my gym if I lived there. read more

But when it comes to membership, you must sign a year contract with them , if you need to cancel for reasons of moving away or because of other Eason , you most contact a company calld ABC they are the ones that callect your.payments , they also give you the run around when it comes to canceling your account, they make you pay an extra month, then they tell you that they will email you the papers, they dont email you them ,you have to call back , by the time you get your papers you have to pay another month ,that's two months already ,by the time they cancel you membership you will have paid 3 months and have not used their facilities. Since the COVID-19 virus, I felt unsafe visiting this gym so I requested to freeze my account. After 5 months of not going to the gym and still feeling unsure about the safety at the gym, I've decided to cancel my membership. I was told that I have to request the membership cancellation in a written form, which I fulfilled. I then received an email stating that I needed to provide 30 days notice to cancel and until then, I will be charged for any outstanding balance. I was not concerned about any outstanding charges since my account is current and I have requested for my account to be frozen (only $5.00 monthly charge). It was September 11, 2020 when I saw a charge of close to $30.00 on my account. I contacted abc financial requesting for a resolution but instead I received a generic response and they refused to resolve my issue nor offer a reimbursement for the incorrect charges. It's really disappointing and I feel that this organization lacked customer service. I will never do business with them again. read more

I'll start with the good. Large choice of machines, with multiple of almost everything. Plenty of cardio machines assorted in front of like 18 TVs in which you can tune into the one of your choice. Cardio theater allows you to watch a projected movie in a dark room with surround sound. Very cool. Sauna is large and almost too hot. Staff is courteous and willing to help. The bad: Free weight areas are a disaster. I've been a member for a few weeks now, gone at all times of the day and not once have I seen the dumbbells where they are supposed to be on the racks. It is very frustrating walking around the other members trying to find the weights i need because they are no where close to where they are supposed to be. Half the spray bottles for cleaning the benches are either broken or empty. The plates are scattered throughout the area and there is no way to find what you're looking for without going to other machines. I have yet to see a SINGLE 35lbs plate since I've been going there. The cable/pully equipment squeals like a stuck pig. This gym has serious potential to be a 5 star if the staff would do a better job of maintaining the equipment and ensuring the weights stay organized. Also, buy some 35lbs plates... read more

My Problem with this gym is that they renew your contract for you without notifying you. Signed a 12 month contract in January 2018, i moved around November and figured id just pay the last month, was only around $20. These guys signed me up for 12 more months without consulting me, and are telling me they cant refund me but can give me however many months have already passed on the contact for free, i moved away so that's not an option. Joined the membership for 5 years. Bc of COVID I don't go to Gym any more so I tried to cancel the membership. I called the front desk whoever answered said " Oh, I can't do it here. You gotta to call 1866 number." Okey I called 1 866 number the lady told me " Oh, You can't cancel over the phone, you have to write in email to cancel. ". Okay, That is fine. I wrote the email she gave me. I believed was customercare&abcfinacial.com? Something like that. But it doesn't work that way. They still charged me. Automatic charged from my card. Over month and month. Finally last month I call my credit card to dispute the charge. Than they sent me a letter said I owe the balance $$. Today I called the number on the letter. The lady named Liliy answered my call. She said " Oh no you can't cancel over the email. You have to sign up your financial account to cancel. She does know her system well. I think. Told me to here there however she did work thought with me. I finally cancel my member after 4 months. That was ridiculous. I sigh up the member in the store. My husband and I recently joined the Clermont Fitness Center. We enjoy going there, it is very clean and usually not crowded like most places. They show you the machines and are very very knowledgable on fitness and the importance of it. I am 66 years old and have had a wonderful trainer for almost 20 sessions. I have lost weight and feel like I"m in my best shape ever. As he said "you pay now or you pay later". I highly recommend !! read more
