The reviews on their website are edited to delete anything negative, especially recent reviews. Go to their review page and sort it by Newest review and there's nothing newer than one year because they can go in and delete the ones that they don't like. They have no integrity, I posted a negative review after they sent me an email requesting one and the manager decided to charge me $25 then delete my account and close it. No email, no nothing. I only found this out because my app did not work and I went into the gym and the lady there who was just as nasty as April is every time I go in read the entire review to me even though I told her I know what I wrote. She was angry and I guess that was a topic in the gym for the last couple weeks. HAHA. LOL. The staff doesn't give a shit, you can barely find anybody if you have the black membership to go to the tanning beds, massage chairs, etc. You know I'm used to ugly and condescending people in this world, but you shouldn't have to pay to get that treatment. The worst thing is the manager doesn't confront anybody. She just doesn't have that in her. April is the worst. I have some friends that just joined and they asked me if I've ever had problems with April and I tell them. Yes she's the one that I've left two negative reviews about yet it never shows on the webpage. They pointed out that there's no negative reviews that they can see for the last couple years and I told them it's because Planet Fitness delete them so they look better.

For years before joining OTF Prattville I worked out 4-5 times a week but never challenged myself enough to see the improvements I wanted. I kept doing the same limited number of exercises day after day and would get frustrated with the lack of results. After 7.5 months at OTF though my body weight and body fat % are down, my muscle mass has increased and for the first time in my life I'm not ashamed to take my shirt off and look in the mirror. That may seem like a small thing but for someone who's lived their entire life with body confidence issues it has been life changing for my happiness to do something so simple like enjoy a day at the pool or the beach with my kids and not be worried about my appearance. The coaches are phenomenal offering you advice on improving form or how to challenge yourself more when you begin peaking on certain exercises. The members working out with you also make class more enjoyable and I look forward to seeing my regular crew (including the staff) at the times I go. Additionally the gym is under new ownership and the owners are also the management and part of the coaching staff too. Viv is amazing and one of my favorite coaches. I can sense the changes at the gym for the better. They're gathering member feedback and making changes that I know are going to make my OTF workout experience even better which is hard to believe because I had no complaints before the change in ownership.
