The gym also offers a wide variety of classes such as CrossFit and spin as well as a run club. Fitness World Gym is 24 hour access with a key card. You can buy a membership that includes multiple locations, which is a good idea if you live in one area of the Pee Dee but work in another. Although I no longer live in the area, I find myself wishing Fitness World Gyms would expand to Charleston because I like the 24-hour, multi-location model. Hartsville's lucky to have Fitness World.

I experienced no grace or openness from the manager who rudely called me and dismissed my side of a situation. He talked down to me like I was a child in his local church assembly. Apparently, asking a teenage lifeguard what she plans to do for future school or her age bracket is such a violation that I was equal to a pedophile roaming for kids. It was a horrible judgment and a scary reaction from a place filled with supposed Christian beliefs. It was more like liberals holding a witch hint who throw Bibles everywhere. A cancel culture should never manifest in a so-called Christian environment. To make matters worse, the idiot manager called the local police after he threatened to do so. Why? Because I dared him to talk down to me in person. It is amazing how panicky a manager acts when he is challenged to talk the same way in person to a grown man as he did over the phone. Perhaps this community needs to realize that a church community is not the same as a public community. If the management act punitive over a few questions, then be prepared to censor yourself similarly to liberal environments up north. Both groups act like tribes with harsh codes protecting their turf. As far as them being Christian, omit the following traits from their formula: graceful, merciful, forgiving, tolerant, or wise. When I spoke to the police officer, I shared my story which was also canceled by the manager. The office said, "I am sorry. This behavior is happening everywhere, not just in liberal states. We get complaints like this one, and that organization is private so they can do qhat they want." Hence, the cancel culture exists in the south, and acted on by those waiving their Bibles on walls. To future customers, do not be fooled by the Bible verses. It is a business with some very judgmental, fragile management. They did me a favor! ​

No one cares for the music played, and other members have complained about the volume to me. The place on Palmetto St. is the guilty party. 2nd loop plays a good volume. The gym is good, it has great equipment, but hard to enjoy with volume so loud it vibrates! My phone keeps warning me that my volume is too loud, but to hear mostly my music, I have to have it on full volume! It's this reason for two stars less.

New company's interest seems to want to take advantage of employees who stayed by overextending their responsibilities, while attempting to automate as much of the gym as possible resulting in hygiene practices completely falling off, upkeep of the building falling to passionate gym goers while revolving management seems vested solely in keeping asset inventory for the inevitable sale of their neglected and decrepit gyms.
