Mike toured the gym for me, Lisa gave me instruction for all the CrossFit movements to familiarize me before classes ensue. They have several options for their facility as far as CrossFit, Boxing, HIIT, & even a focus massage therapist (I don't believe that is the right title ha!). They have bathrooms and showers if needed. Kid friendly and can work out. Mike told me that they have a meal plan that a chef will whip up for you so you can stay on track. I'm excited to try my first month there. I felt really comfortable on my first visit. And Lord knows with this virus, our bodies need a little movement.

It was about a coach speaking harshly to the athletes. She basically said, if I was unhappy I could leave. Her husband, and co owner of the gym became verbally abusive towards me. The other parents in the gym, are threatening to kick my butt on her facebook page, and she is condoning it. The best part, I am handicapped and in a wheelchair! Stay away from this gym.

Romanelli's has made the biggest difference in my son's life! My son was diagnosed with Aspergers…read morebefore he was 3 and in the first few years of his life he was completely non-verbal. Eventually, with early intervention and lots of behavioural therapy he began thriving. But still, once he was mainstreamed in school and was academically caught up to his peers, we struggled to find something for him to partake in that he not only enjoyed but made him feel like he wasn't different and helped him engage with his peers socially. We tried team sports, boy scouts, and community events but nothing was working. Then we found Romanelli's. From the get go, you could tell this was different. The people here really care about their students, what your goals for them are and their needs. They not only teach physical form, but social skills and life skills. My son has been at Romanelli's less than a year, and already he has benefited more from his time with them than he did in 4 years of behavioural therapy. He engages with others now, he looks us in the eye when he talks, and he communicates his emotions with us. It has given him a moral code as well that he strives to stick to in everything he does. Best of all, he has made friends! He even started at a brand new school about 6 months after starting here and his teacher has said that if I hadn't told her he was on the spectrum, she would have never known. I know I owe so much of that to all of the amazing teachers here. On top of that, because of the relationship he formed with his teachers and peers, he has found something he is truly passionate about. He now loves karate and practices daily and it has taught him to set goals for himself that he truly works to achieve in every aspect of his life. This is no ordinary dojo... I have been through a little bit of karate at a couple other places with my older son as well as so many other sports and organizations with all 3 of my children. The relationship that Romanelli's builds with ALL of their students AND their families is a truly rare thing to find! If your child is interested in martial arts, or even if you are, you will not find a better place than this!

Brought my toddler in for a trial class... was told there was multiple children in the class. She…read morewas the only one there today, which whatever.. not end of the world My daughter loves dance class. This isn't her first time , just new studio. The instructor had very little patience, was very adaiment about getting her to jump over stuffed animals she had in a circle... which was fine, but she was pulling my daughter away from them, my daughter kept stepping on them and she made me come in to help... so I did.... We gave it a break for a bit and my daughter was following direction well.. then she went back to try to get her to jump over the plush toys... but the instructior wasn't nice about it, I found it strange she kept going back to it. My daughter had no issue following the teacher around the toys, just didn't get the concept to jump over them. I was over it at this point. Shes two, and the class is just for fun and to play with other kids.... Also was our trial class lol , didn't understand why it was SO SERIOUS. My daughter starts crying to go home, so we do. I was switching studios so I could see her have fun, last one didn't have windows or a monitor to watch kids.. loved how they were with the kids tho! now this class rubbed me the wrong way. Not sure why people teach children if they have no patience. She was with my daughter for maybe 10 mins total lol and I felt uncomfotable. She was super nice on the phone, but felt like she was a drill Sargent in person.
