Stumbled across this place while taking my mom to the doctor and I am so impressed! The place has so many different options in terms of smoothies, juices, açaí bowls and various different bars/protein/kombucha. The staff is so nice and helpful with suggestions of what you should get ! My mom and I got the pick me up (something like that, it had strawberry, banana, blueberry and a choice of soy,almond, or regular milk!) We also added protein and it was DELICIOUS! I placed an order via grub hub that was quoted an hour and they ended up showing up in half the time which was nice. The juice was fresh and still really cold. Fitrition is truly something special! I've tried their Acai bowls, smoothies, and TPL meals and I've been more than satisfied each time. You have the option to create your own acai bowl which I really enjoyed. It was also big enough to bring home and have more later so that was a plus. The prepped meals are delicious and have soooo much flavor. My favorites are The Arnold and bbq pulled chicken one that I can't remember the exact name of. Now the protein shakes are the yummiest shakes I've ever had. I'm usually very picky when it comes to shakes but they make it perfectly every time. My go-to shakes are Thicker than a Snicker and my new favorite is Bunch of Oats. Lastly, the staff are always super friendly and great at giving recommendations. I came into Fitrition to buy wheatgrass shots. It should've been easy and quick. Instead, there were two teenage workers completely ignoring the couple of people waiting for service. They were maskless (in a health store!) and it took a good 15 minutes for them to even acknowledge my presence. The store has a digital menu. The wheatgrass shots are listed as one for $3, two for $5. I asked for two shots and was told it would be $6. I pointed to the menu to show the girl the correct price. This place is pretty good but service is a bit slow as there's only 2 people taking orders, making all the bowls and shakes and answering the phone... The premade food isn't bad but the Salmon from the Buddah bowls is def not deboned. I spent a lot of the time taking the bones out and being careful to eat it. Their Bomb Tuna is incredible along with their Salmon with Farfalle pasta. I'd get that every time I go! Also, how is this a Fitness place but have absolutely no nutrition facts on the shakes, bowls or food online or anywhere else? The premade food gives you macros but everything else they make is a guessing game. I find that a little weird. I track calories like many others so its hard to figure out what Im eating when I go here. Overall its a great place if you don't mind spending some money lol but the quality of the food is great and the bowls are pretty good and tasty. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful. ordered a pitaya bowl online. The bowl itself is yummy and tasty, although kinda expensive for $11 when the size is a very small plastic container. Probably wouldn't order from here again because NONE of the employees working there that day, were wearing their mask correctly. None of their noses were covered, and with COVID19 cases increasing in many parts of Queens, I just don't feel comfortable visiting a food store where no one wears their mask correctly (AND there were four other customers in the store with me). The whole point of the mask is to block respiratory droplets and virus aerosols from being spread around to other people (& to protect employees as well). (9 pm on weekdays and 7 pm on Saturdays) Fitrition offers a variety of options - acaí bowls, pitaya bowls, smoothies, juices, shakes, and a "build your own bowl" option. They also offer a meal plan section in one of their fridges. I got a BYOB with acaí, bananas, strawberries, granola and honey. DELICIOUS! The only reason why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because the bowl is only about 65% filled. My bowl cost about $11 which is pretty average as far as acaí bowls go, but was only filled halfway with acaí and the rest with fruit. There was still a lot of space at the top! When I was in Queens more often I used to come here a lot. Decent selection of supplements and other healthy products but came here mostly for the fresh made to order items, although I do love the protein popcorn in the basket up near the register. Love the oatmeal cups here, all the flavors are good. My favorite is the peanut butter but the chocolate chip and apple cinnamon are tasty, even the one with the raisins. Acai bowls are great, I usually pick off the menu but you can create your own too, still have yet to try the pitaya. Smoothies are good, would usually get the chocolate peanut butter one or a basic if I'm cutting weight and need something quick and easy. I was super excited to come try fitrition after my friend told me about it a few months ago! I've been trying lots of acaí bowls since the craze started this past year and this is one of the only ones around in the neighborhood/Queens in general. I got a pitaya (dragon fruit) based bowl because I prefer that to the taste of the acaí. The one I tried was on the menu as the dragon bowl: banana, blueberries, strawberries, granola, and chia seeds. I wanted some peanut butter too so I splurged and paid $1 more for PB. The bowl was bigger than most and very tasty! I also picked up one of the meal prep containers for lunch-- chicken fajita. It was very tasty, but I felt slightly skimped on the sides (it was supposed to come with a salsa, but mine didn't have it). I ordered 3 açaí bowls this morning. An hour later I got a text my order was cancelled. I called and was told that the driver never came to pick up my delivery. I told them that I was charged for the order I never received! They said there was nothing they could do about it because they made the order and it was not their fault it was not picked up for delivery????. I spend almost $100 in this store EVERY WEEK because I take the açaí bowls to work for breakfast every day. Fitrition would not refund my money OR send me another delivery. They lost a customer that spends almost $5,000 per year there!!!! They were horrible to me on the phone and I wouldn't spend another penny there ever. I ordered from SoBol in Bay Terrace and for the same price the bowls were even better. If you treat people (especially one of your best customers) poorly you will lose the business. UPDATE Michael thank you for replying. I have read your review and it is not accurate. I spoke to someone at your store as I have stated and tried to work this out. Dismissing the issue as having nothing to do with your store is just wrong and poor customer service, especially when I have you a multiple choice to make it right. Refund or redeliver.
