Get home pass it over few minutes later I see they aren't happy so I asked what's up. It had in it exactly what the didn't want. That's why I gave the one star. It's one thing if I communicated incorrectly but the fact I read it verbatim and then showed it to the employee who read it back? Added tor he fact that there was no other customer beside me?! I'm one to go back and return it for what was supposed to be but they said just forget it since they ate a little bit and didn't want to case an issue . read more

More like 3.5 stars. Stopped by and ordered a Pineapple Mango smoothie. It was pretty pricey at $10 for a 16oz. The smoothie was kinda bland. It could be the fruits are not in season? It was a healthier alternative to bubble tea. The service was quick. I ordered and received my drink within 5 minutes. The place was pretty empty, but clean. The service is prompt, polite, and they take food allergies seriously (they have nut free granola). It's clean, bright, and welcoming in there. The girl behind the counter was SO SUPER FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL! I think her boss came to greet me as well, and she was so friendly too! They greeted me happy birthday (i has to redeem my reward on the app) and Asked me if i wanted to stay or go. I opted to stay and eat in. Once she called me for my bowl, i noticed the bowl said happy birthday! I immediately said OMG THANK YOU! -& she smiled & said you're welcome. At the end, i still had some leftover and wanted to take it home. I asked for a bag, and she noticed i had other things to take with me. She asked if i needed a bigger bag for my other things, and offered me a large bag. It's the small things like this that will keep me coming to places. I got the Mango Pineapple bowl and was very pleasantly surprised! It is loaded with a good amount of fruit and granola- every bite is filled with different textures and flavors. The service is fast as well. My only frustration is that the full menu is only on the video screens and there is no physical copy to see! The font is incredibly tiny. Been on the hunt lately for the best açaí bowls during this heat wave in NYC and I think I've found the spot. Living in flushing the past few years and frequenting bell blvd I'm really surprised I've never seen SolBol or heard of it. Been to playa bowl before and it's good but not as good as this, also this is cheaper. I think for the same size açaí bowl it was almost $15 and for the classic size it was $11-12. Everything tasted super good and with the spoon of Nutella it was the perfect combo. The double layer of granola gave it the perfect crunch factor I look for whenever I have this. This is my first time trying an Acai bowl. didn't know what it was. i thought it was some kind of grain/cereal type of thing it's not. So Acai is a fruit and they use it to make it into a frozen slush/sorbet. This is the base and they top it with all kinds of toppings that you can choose from. I ordered the classic and it comes with granola, strwaberries, blue berries, banana and coconut shavings. The way they prepare the bowl is like a masterpiece. every single pieces of fruit is neatly cut and place and every fruit is at its freshest stage. it was absolutely delicious. and REFRESHING especially in this heatwave we are having! i've been here 3 x and i order the same thing. i'm gonna have to pry myself away from Acai bowl and try their pitaya bowl. Wish they offered samples...LOL.
