Salmon special with garlic broccoli and mashed potato. Excellent food

Great lunch special Under 15.00 for quarter chicken with 2 sides. Nice. Their fries are delicious. I try to get the sweet potatoes and choice of veggies Enjoy

Santa Fe wrap. It's supposed to come with corn, black beans, bell pepper and celery. I spy none of those ingredients.

I dined in and had the lemon orzo chicken soup that was absolutely delicious. I came back the same day and ordered more soup to go in addition to the Santa Fe chicken wrap. The wrap was missing several key ingredients listed on the menu. There was no corn, black beans, bell peppers or celery. I called after opening the wrap up at home. I spoke with the same gentleman who took my order. He was very nice and apologetic. The manager or owner contacted me and rectified the situation. Will definitely be back for the soup and maybe will try something else.

Something that came along with a 1/2 roasted chicken.

Looking at what you are serving before closing the box. I received a 1/2 chicken with an artery big enough for huge turkey

We placed an order via phone from Roast & Co. They prepared our meal super fast for 2 whole chickens with 8 sides and we picked it up in 15 mins. We live in the neighborhood but haven't got a chance to try it yet. Our friends told us their chicken was just okay, but the sides were really good and worth a try. We had 2 orders of chicken, each chicken comes with 4 sides and we had 8 out of 9 different sides. The food was really delicious, especially for the golden beet and kale. In our opinion, their chicken is great too, juicy, tender and flavorful.

Cuisine: 3 Service: 6 Decor: 6 Value: 5 Overall: 4 DISCLAIMER: Comparison of 7 rotisserie chicken restaurants below are reviewed strictly on the chicken only. Not sides, not desserts, not any other food. Service and decor were not considered either. Visiting a new restaurant in my neighborhood called La Rotisserie du Coin triggered an obsession in me to find the best rotisserie chicken in Queens. For three days last week, I ate nothing but roast chicken. To be fair, I ordered the same half a chicken every time (except Costco) during busy lunch or dinner hours. Here are my findings below with a food score (independent of price or value) and some key notes for each establishment. LA ROTISSERIE DU COIN - 4/10, Chicken was barely warm and somewhat dry. This could be due to the fact that I was the only customer at 7:45pm. The skin had some hint of rosemary and other herbs, but the meat was quite bland. Restaurant had by far the nicest decor of all the chicken shops visited. Price ($12.85) for half a chicken with two sauces was also by far the most expensive. BOSTON MARKET - 5/10, Surprisingly better than LRDC, mainly because it was warmer and juicier. Skin had a stronger flavor of spices. The white meat was still slightly dry, but the dark meat was quite good. For $9.88 you get half a bird plus two sides. PIO PIO (Middle Village) - 8/10, My favorite roast chicken for a long time and it still does not disappoint. Super tender and juicy meat, along with amazingly tasty seasoning. $10 gets you half a pollo and endless green sauce (best of any restaurant that served it). COSTCO (LIC) - 7/10, Each chicken is time stamped. So fresh and hot, the box nearly burned my hands. While not as flavorful as some, it was definitely the juiciest and most tender. Possibly the most meatiest as well. Nowhere else I tried can beat the price of $4.99 for a whole entire chicken either. ROAST & CO. - 3/10, Lukewarm and quite dry. Unfortunately the worst of my experiment. My belief is that, due to their larger menu compared to the other similar restaurants, it's hard to keep the chicken fresh. Half a bird for $13.95 comes with two sides, which were decent. CARAVAN CHICKEN - 7/10, Similar to Pio Pio, but a little less tender, a bit less juicy, and the green sauce was not as thick. Skin has a little crispiness to it that no other roast chicken had. Fantastic buy at $7.21 for half. PEKING BBQ - 8/10, Same owner as Caravan Chicken, but the seasoning on the skin has a added sweetness (cha siu sauce) added to the traditional Peruvian herbs and spices. On the day I was there, I waited 20 mins for a new batch, which produced a better result. Once again, $7.21 for half a chicken is a great deal. In the end, this experiment proved something all foodies should already know ... ... everything tastes better when it's freshly made. Unlike a steakhouse that can fire up a piece of meat upon request, rotisserie chicken takes time to prepare and becomes overcooked the longer it sits in the oven. That's why places with consistent business will always win out in this race. If I have to pick one winner based on purely taste, then it would have to be Pio Pio. However, the biggest dark horse was definitely Costco. This was a fun experience, but I don't want to see another rotisserie chicken for months.

    Caprese Salad

I came here after the gym, not expecting much, but Roast and Co completely exceeded my expectations. We got the Caprese Salad with Chicken and and Kale Caesar Salad. Both were soooo damn tasty, we scoffed them down. The ingredients to each salad were extremely fresh, and the rotisserie chicken was not overly dry in the slightest, which is what I worry about most when eating it. The caprese also included a nice pesto which was aromatic and really good, I could have licked my whole plate. As for the Caesar salad, they were light on the dressing which I liked, instead of dumping loads of it on, but it was all covered nicely. The homemade croutons were an awesome touch. Would totally come back here!

Small and cozy cafe / coffee shop. There are only a few tables on the side, so it is more of a quick bite kind of place. Their menu mainly consists of sandwiches, salads, and bakery items. They also have a very good rotisserie chicken deal - a whole chicken with 4 sides for $22.95. The chicken is on the smaller side, but combined with the sides, it was definitely a big enough meal for two people. The chicken was pretty moist. Not the best tasting chicken I've had, but still above average with an interesting herbal flavor to it. All the sides were great too. I tried the kale, quinoa, sweet potatoes and rice pilaf. It seems that they take good care in seasoning their food well, but also making sure it is prepared in a healthy manner.

Walked all the way to Rego Park from Kew Gardens so we could have a healthy light lunch before dinner in the city. Shared half a rotisserie chicken with roasted potatoes and golden beets. Not the juiciest chicken I've ever had but for the price I can't really complain. Lightly seasoned so if you're used to eating Peruvian chicken you might be underwhelmed. It's healthy, the sides are good. L loved the potatoes, but they're pretty easy to make at home. The beets were good but then I like beets in general. My fork was a lil wet/sticky... Im glad I tried the place but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here and although it's very healthy, it's not something my parents would want..

Day adventures with my sister can lead to many random food stops, especially with her on a super health kick these days. So when Yelping away for lunch a few weeks ago we landed on Roast n Co.. Tasty freshness ensued. It's a tiny storefront right by the subway in the heart of Queens so be on the lookout for the red and grey awning. Inside is a lovely, little, cozy cafe. A few tables scattered about and some rooster decor adds to the poultry vibe. The menu is pretty vast for such a small spot with a deep love for coffee and cafe related fare. Soups, salads, sandwiches and the item that makes the place's name: rotisserie chicken. Salads were the option for lunch with my sis going for the insalata ingrale (roasted butternut squash, quinoa, goat cheese, toasted pumpkin seeds, cranberries, and mesclun). For $4 more she added chicken to make a mildly pricy, but apparently tasty lunch. For me, I followed suit on the greens and went for the Cobb salad with rotisserie chicken. Large pieces of egg, avocado, fresh blue cheese, and tomato all on a bed of baby spinach. Arguably one of the fresher tasting meals I've devoured in recent weeks with great flavor from the poultry. It was a healthy lunch which was a pleasant way to start the afternoon....before we dove into beer and ice cream elsewhere (what health kick?). Overall, Roast n Co offers up some great salads, and in turn a jealous girlfriend who wants to take a trip here. There's plenty more to warrant that return trip (beyond the girlfriend) and perhaps enough to push this review to five stars. For now, I'll wait until another experience of more coziness, freshness and maybe a little caffeine to grant that level up review.

Both came with generous amounts of meat, not too saucy either which sometimes makes sandwiches soggy. I got the regular sub size which I ate half of. It can easier feed 2 people! I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to get a sandwich from Stacked since I haven't had one in a while. I I walked in and waited to be greeted while the staff chatted and gazed at me for about 5ish minutes or so. Finally, I'm acknowledged and asked "what can I get for you". I saw they had a Thanksgiving sandwich called the "Gobbler". I asked how long they would have it as even though it's the November special, sometimes places might make it last through the holidays. When asked I was told "it will be available until whenever November ends". This whole interaction made me feel so unwelcome. It didn't look like there was much going on there in the relm of orders, but it still took them a while to make my sandwich. Finally they bring it to the front counter. Pack it in paper and a paper bag and I'm off. I didn't have much time to eat so I scarfed it down in my car before heading down Queens Blvd. It was very good. Not my favorite, but def has potential. I also feel like, though this is a nice sized sandwich, they were a bit stingy this time around. I would say the star was the stuffing. It just tied everything together. As you all know, I love a good sandwich shop. I wish this was as good as it once was to me. Not sure if I'll give it one more shot just yet.

We were the first ones in the door with 11am reservation on a Saturday. The place filled up quickly. High noise level. Not the best for large groups. The burgers sell out quickly, as only 68 are prepared daily, so we snagged those right away. So delicious. Double smashed cheeseburger--simple and satisfying. Very rich. Would return for this again. French toast was disappointing. Looked pretty but tasted of nothing. It wasn't French toast in a traditional preparation: it was bread pudding cut into a slice and drizzled with syrup and served French toast style. The texture was of a moist but bland bread pudding. Utterly disappointing. Skip. War potatoes (crispy potatoes that are served as a side, with a dollop of super spicy sauce) were very tasty. Double or triple fried to a crispy perfection. Love me some perfectly crisp potatoes. These are super caloric, so prepare for some heartburn after. Ask for war sauce on the side because it is SPICY. House made pistachio gelato was superb. So many pistachios--I'd eat this daily and would return for this!

Besides the customer interaction, the sandwich is pretty good. Great crunch in the bread, ingredients are just enough (not like Stacked but good enough to fill you up). It's certainly a great option for sandwiches with fresh ingredients.
