My husband and I have been members of many gyms in our 42 yrs. of marriage. Our motto: "Those who work out together, Stay together." We do our best to keep healthy and keep ourselves "attractive" for one another. MIght sound "shallow" to some, but it's our "gift" to one another. We became members of Fitworks when it originally opened. We started out in Richmond Hts. as it was close to our work place. Once the Mentor Fitworks opened, we starting going there as it was very close to our home. Fitworks gives us what we need and want. Give us weights and cardio equipment and we are "happy campers". Throughout all our years there, we have had few, if any, complaints. When I have an issue, I go to the front desk and it seems to be resolved. Our complaints are usually valid and the staff is very receptive to us and our needs. I am thrilled with the fitness center's hours as well. I wish some of the members would take their heavy weights off the equipment so I don't have to. Not every member is polite and courteous as I would like. I have become quite vocal and bring it to the attention of the member when I see them leave a machine or get off the cardio equipment and not clean it when they are done. I have been known to "chase them down". Lol. The staff has signs posted........but again, some members don't "play by the rules." That being said, we feel Fitworks is a great fitness center. We joined because it gave us what we want in a gym. The price is excellent. The staff are friendly and very approachable. When a piece of equipment is in need of repair, it is remedied in a timely manner. The hours are great. I also live by the motto: Aware. Instead of complaining about something just to complain, I take the time to make management "Aware" of a problem. They aren't mind readers. "Ask and you shall receive" and we have. That being said, we are a happy married couple who have become good friends with several members of this fine gym. We reap the results of a lifetime of healthy eating and working out. Just a few quick thoughts about fitworks. From the very beginning I have felt comfortable in this facility every time I walk in. Sign in is very easy at the front desk, just a quick finger scan or a swipe of your card. While you are signing in, you are greeted by the always friendly staff behind the counter. The locker room has an ample amount of empty lockers to use, and always seems to be very clean. The cardio and weight machines are clean and well maintained. Plenty of fluids/drinks available through water fountains or vending machines. The staff, and even most of the clients, are very friendly. I've never taken a class or used a trainer, but they are available, and I hear good things about them. Plenty of energizing music in the air to keep you motivated to enjoy and complete your workout. Television screens throughout the facility. There is even a movie room showing complete movies while you use the treadmills or elipticle machines in it. Give this place a try, free passes available. I have been a member for several years and really love the place. the employees and trainers are all great and very helpful. The facility is stocked with great equipment and there is rarely a time when it is too crowded. The cardio cinema room is one of my favorites and they play quality movies. The staff keeps the place very clean and any broken equipment is fixed quickly. I would and have recommended this club to all my friends and family. The cost is competitive with other local fitness center. They are not open 24hrs, but that is not a factor for me. I have done some of the group fitness classes and they are also lots of fun and provide an excellent workout. read more

My fiancé and I joined Fitworks about 8 months ago. We were impressed with all the cardio available, but just as impressed with the equipment. There are machines and free weights for every fitness level or muscle confusion. The staff is always around friendly and ready to help. They gym is clean, the atmosphere is inviting for all ages. We joined team training which includes TRX, CrossFit, Kickboxing, and Kettle Bells. We LOVE it! The classes say they are for all levels and they are. The trainers will push you to your individual best and everyone gets an amazing workout. I have gotten my friends to join as well as my daughter, I have heard no complaints! read more

Mentor Fitworks has it all. Clean and Bright, and loaded with everything you need to workout, whether you are just casual or serious. For a lousy 30 dollars a month, you get much more than you pay for. The staff is so good it's insane !!! I told one of the trainers we were eating at TGIF that night; she told me the things that they have on the menu that are healthiest to eat. I joined the Team Fitness thing (for extra money) and lost 22 pounds in 10 weeks. Best money I have ever spent. So leave your drunk friends behind, and come on in and get in better shape than you ever dreamed of. You'll love it !!! read more

The Mentor Fitworks is AWESOME!! Whatever type of workout you are into, this facility has it all. There is so much equipment of every kind, you NEVER have to wait for any cardio or weight training machine. The staff is so knowledgable and approachable; they are truly concerned with their members reaching their fitness goals. The group fitness classes are also fun and effective. I was able to drop the last of my baby weight after taking the TRX classes. Kelly Fisher and Kelly M. are the best instructors; they are so motivating, you will never leave their classes without being drenched in sweat! read more

Thanks Fitworks team! I have abs again. Thanks to the encouragement and butt kicking workouts, I see results with personal group fitness bootcamps more than working out on my own. The classes are top rate with Kelly F., Kelly M., Brian & Brandon. There are a variety of classes to challenge the body & the TRX classes are addicting. My friend and I joined Fitwork in October and are totally addicted. We thought we would "TRY" spinning and now we are hooked. If you want results join Kelly Fishers Class she offer's a half hour spin followed by an hour of TRX. You will see results guaranteed .Fitworks offers classes for the veterans down to the beginner's.The staff is super nice and very helpful.
