Approximately 9 people plus the instructor attended the class and it appears that I was the newbie of a tight knit group, however the class and Erin welcomed me openly. Though I am relatively new to studio classes, having developed most of my yoga skills via dvds, the instruction was spot on and could be adapted to someone just developing yoga skills or to the more advanced and well practiced. I would definitely attend this studio again and if this was my home neighborhood it would be my studio of choice. After class Erin engaged me in conversation sharing a link to my hometown and when I mentioned I was attempting to expand my knowledge of yoga and explore more types of classes she recommended other options for me. I also happened to mention I plan on spending a week in the OC, CA area in September and she encouraged me to attend some of the studios there that she had great experiences with. This has been one of the best yoga experiences I have had to date.

It reaches deeper to work your nervous system, open joints, strengthen your core ( more than any other exercise - I've tried it all ). But they hired one of the best Aerialist in the city and I wanted to resume my practice. In addition to restarting aerial myself, I decided to get my niece involved. The studio made it very confusing and did not communicate to me how to register my niece. This resulted in me receiving an email that my registration was canceled, and we missed class. To this day, I have not received any follow up communication from the studio and the instructor was let go. All of this leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I was going to wait until I ran out of class passes to post my review, but this has been on my mind for days. My niece was making great progress and looked forward to attending. Sadly, we will not be members anymore.

It's easy to locate off such a main drag. If you're not from the area, be prepared to give yourself extra time for parking. There is no dedicated parking lot, but rather free street parking on surrounding blocks. It's worth it to arrive early just for peace of mind you can find a spot and not be rushed while parallel parking. I wouldn't recommend it as a spot to super last minute book a class. I've attended a few yoga classes and had a wonderful experience. I continuously meet inviting and engaging teachers that actually understand the type of yoga they're teaching. The class sizes are intentionally small and extremely low-pressure. That type of environment alone is enough to make me want to return. Its genuinely a relaxed, supportive atmosphere that meets you where you're at. As someone with physical limitations, I always feel comfortable here and never feel pressured to be something I'm not.

We use hand weights , magic ring, ball, roller, chair, no props and do floor exercises for overall body toning and strengthening. Everyone is at a different level, everyone's body is different and she's excellent with coaching us to work by listening to our bodies. I was a gym member for 30* years. My body is in better shape with 2 years of Pilates then I ever achieved at the gym. I'm NOT giving medical advice however Pilates is a lifestyle for me to maintain flexibility and minimize pain in my legs. I was able to enjoy both the Pilates on the reformer and the mat classes along with a private session, I loved the constant variety, no class is the same and each move allows the ability to cater to your needs. Loree knew I had been dealing with a shoulder injury and was always suggesting alternative moves for me to do! I highly recommend taking her classes, you won't be disappointed!
