This place doesn't grow or use any local grapes. We went on a Saturday...which means the business should be prepared for one of their busiest days. Instead, our young waitress was "in your face" short with us, our service was mediocre and the establishment seemed ill prepared for a crowd. The savory cheese board was ok. However, I had have outstanding cheese/charcuterie boards at nearby wineries for less cost and far better quality. We were there in the afternoon and the very limited parking area was already full. The inside winery area is cramped and small. The outside area is spacious...but, lacks the outdoor fans that we see at many other Texas winery patios. We never leave a winery without a bottle to go...here, we were happy to pay our bill and move onto the next nearby winery without our typical delicious bottle to go.

We had a tasting 4-2oz pours for $20 great choice to help decide what bottle or glas you would like to order, the three reds I tried where all amazing. We also ordered sangria and the Feta small bites plate all wonderful. Highly recommend experiencing the wines and hospitality their pretty amazing people and wines. I'd highly recommend doing a wine flight--it's only $20 and a great way to try a variety of their wines. I tend to prefer sweeter wines, and the Silver Comet was my favorite by far. The Grande Finale was also really good and worth trying. They also had wine slushies, which were a nice touch--flavors included lime Rita, red sangria, and peach, perfect if you want something refreshing. Overall, great atmosphere, unique setting, and a good mix of options. Would definitely come back!

His polite and professional manner adds quality to the entire experience. He takes time to explain all aspects of one's meal experience and more. Since we were there for brunch, there is a "limited" menu....but, all of the brunch menu is delicious! The chef even came out to check on us and it was easy to give her praise! The ambiance is inviting and emotes an "Italian vineyard"-like vibe. One can easily get swept away by the gorgeous decor! We missed the live music that accompanied our first brunch. But, we will continue to keep this great restaurant as part of our upcoming Sunday routines!

It is tucked away, off the beaten path, on a beautifully kept property. There is convenient parking right next to the tasting room. When you enter the tasting room, everything is decorated with aviation items. It is super cute inside. Bathroom was clean. Service was great and staff was very friendly. The wine was terrific! We enjoyed tasting dry whites and reds and were extremely happy with all the wine. The reds were especially smooth and delicious. We also walked around outside a little before we left. There are vineyards and a large pond. You are able to get married here and there is another building to use for a reception. Definitely pay them a visit and try their wine. It's worth the drive!

It is connected to Ivanhoe Ale Works which I also reviewed independently. The cool thing about this place is that you can go back-and-forth between the winery tasting room and the brewery and the friendly servers take care of you no matter where you are. We also got to meet the owner, she was really friendly, down to earth, and we had some good conversations and got the learn a lot about her and what motivates her to do what she does... My husband got the Ivanhoe Peach and he loved it! We will absolutely visit again the next time we are in the area! Maybe try the brewery attached next time which is in the old town cinema. Our wives loved the Moscato called Sweet Freedom -- it was a big hit. The husbands did the premium tasting, and honestly, every wine we tried was excellent. My personal favorites were the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Tempetite -- both were really good. We also shared the triple dip appetizer, and it was delicious. The artichoke dip was our favorite! The servers were awesome -- Debra was super friendly, very knowledgeable, and made the whole experience even better. We'll definitely be back!
