Best of all, I purchased the bougie stick for $24 and the manufacturer's website have them for $22 which isn't a ridiculous price difference and I didn't have to wait or pay for shipping. They also carry B**chstix which is a brand that supports survivors of domestic abuse and is a cruelty-free product. I bought one for the friend I was meeting for dinner. The store carries many other items such as some fashion jewelry, curated baby items (clothes, books, etc), hair ties, scented candles and so much more! I don't know how the prices of most items compare with how much you'd pay in a retail store. Appliances are priced pretty high. I hope they have been tested. Used furniture quality is all over the place. Hearing can be difficult in this warehouse-like building, especially with fans running. An employee possibly told us to get away from a certain area or possibly asked us what we needed. We asked but couldn't hear her reply. Then she asked us what we needed (for sure asked this) and when we told her, she seemed... displeased. I don't know. Maybe she was just having an off day. Not a big deal. Maybe one day I'll have a home and get to buy something here. Who knows?

On our last visit no one asked if we needed help checking out and it was pretty obvious that two elderly people were trying to figure out the checkout system. After a few minutes we figured it out. Something I feel the need to add: we came back to see if they had a particular frame still in stock, and they did. I'm happy to know we can count on an inventory item being there even after a year. So many stores switch up inventory and you can never get the same item if it breaks or you want another one. Good job, Michael's!
