This target has been a nice out of the way location from the hustle of Saint Louis. It's our #1 now with my son living there to avoid the craziness of college students. The surface parking is more than adequate on the strip and the area and walk up clean. Over several visits the inventory is much better than their Brentwood location that's mobbed with students shopping. We have been able to find almost everything we needed. Also the store is organized and clean. Checkout options are self and staff which I always try to use a real person. Customer service has been friendly. On a few occasions I also called the store and it's been good. I would recommend. read more

Nobody answers the phone in electronics. Called multiple times. We bought an Xbox on the website and went to the store to get it. They have a system that took wayyyy too long. We couldn't get our money back or pick up the item. Absolutely ridiculous. Do better. read more

This is by no means my go to location. I stop in here when I absolutely need something because I am in the area. All I care about is that they have my Tyson chicken honey battered tenders and gallon Lactaid Milk in stock. The employees are friendly which is a plus and this location seems to care about the expired items still in stock, when notified they immediately toss them.....GREAT!!! My favorite Target in STL! This location boasts a large well-lit parking lot and keeps their shopping carts within their corrals. The store itself boasts a large variety of products that are always well stocked and organized. I definitely appreciate the indoors Starbucks for those days where I require an extra jolt of energy while shopping. 5 star Black Friday visit! We pulled in at 8:25 & asked about doorbuster 40" TV for $119. There were 2 left that people did not pick up with a line ticket. We were told to go to the front & wait till 9 PM & if no one showed we could buy them. No one showed so SCORE! Other "door busters" were available still after 9 PM & the staff was friendly & helpful checking on stock of others. I NEVER have enjoyed a Black Friday before. I usually leave because I hate the angry crowds. read more

Good hours, clean, and decent service.

The Town & Country location of Target is one of the tops. The customer service attendants are consistently friendly and helpful, there's a Starbucks and free wifi, and the shelves are stocked with everything that I'm always looking for (plus more!). It's really difficult to walk into this store and "just get one thing". I wind up perusing the $1 or $3 SPOT to see what's fun, or grabbing some groceries because they're a better value than many local grocery stores. The location of the store itself is very central in West County, and it's also next door to a Whole Foods - so I can get everything I need in one trip to the plaza. read more

I went November 21 with a $10 gift card, a 10% off coupon for a particular grocery item (not limited in quantity) and my RedCard. I got my stuff, strolled around a lot --- it's a good place to walk, and it wasn't too crowded. The offerings in the home fashion section were quite enticing and interesting. The lines were kinda long, with no extra checkout clerks opening up . . . although they were there, but the registers weren't "awake". I contemplated self-checkout, but figured I'd use the coupon, gift card and RedCard in the wrong order and end up paying full price for everything. I left it to the expert . . . the checkout lady. And she did a fabulous job. It turned out, my gift card was for $15 (That's like hittin' the lottery for me.). On top of that, I saved $17. read more

Unlike Walmart where I want to gouge out my eyes every time I am there, Target is not too bad. This newer location in Town and Country Crossings is really nice and well organized. First of all, if you don't like Target in general, you're insane. I went to buy a new blender after mine broke down. I was literally IMMEDIATELY sidetracked by their summer shoe selection. They have an incredible selection of cute summer sandals at really reasonable prices ($15-$30). I got a strappy black faux-leather sandal for $20. Not bad. Their blender selection ranged greatly from $20 up to $200 for something called a Ninja (??). I really didn't need anything fancy, just something that will churn out smoothies a few times a week so I went with a model that was $50 and seemed pretty basic. There were basically no lines which is much appreciated, especially on a Saturday afternoon. Plus the parking situation is 1000000x better than the Brentwood location! PLUS it is located very centrally next to Whole Foods! Wow I love living in the county. This location is very organized, clean, friendly, and well-stocked. The Brentwood location typically looks like a bomb went off. Just saying. read more

Don't go here if you're black/brown. The security guard will follow you all over the store and stare at you while you're checking out until you leave. This has happened several times and I always end up leaving with much less items than I put in my cart or not purchasing anything at all because I just don't want to shop at a racist place like this. I go to target often and they usually seem to have just what I need! On my most recent trip, I went for one purpose: organizational items. They had a pretty good variety. I do wish they had even more of a selection of colors and sizes, but for the most part I as very impressed. Luke was my cashier and he was very friendly and helpful! One of the best Targets I've been in! Multiple employees asked if I was finding everything okay and told me to have a great day. A team member helped me get a desk I had purchased into my car, and the older lady who checked out my items, I think her name was Mary, was very conversational and friendly. What is wrong with the staff here?? This evening I used self check out, and got through the entire order before I realized my cartwheel deals weren't working when I scanned it. After waiting for 10 minutes, register light flashing, for help... I gathered my bagged items up and went to a check out. After waiting in a 10 min line to check out for a SECOND time, my just selected perk wouldn't scan. A free book. The check out girl just looked at me and said "not valid". Um ok. It says here any book for less than $25 and this book costs $12. "Ma'am, I don't know what to tell you. The system is telling me it's invalid." Long story short, she said she couldn't do anything about it. Wow. You are incredibly helpful. She then told me that I would need to speak with the store manager if I wanted to try to use my free perk on the Cartwheel system. Surprise! Yet another line. After sitting in line for five minutes at customer service watching the manager off to the side not helping other customers, I pop my head over to try to explain the situation. His reaction? "I can't help you with this until I'm done doing what I'm doing." He essentially told me to get back in line. So dismissive, so unprofessional, so rude. I threw the book on the counter and left after getting back in line and watching him NOT manage his store. I called back the store to get his name after I left, which he was very hesitant to give me. He claims his name is "K Williams". Whatever. The target customer service line was incredible and they graciously refunded my perk points along with extra for my trouble but I'm totally disgusted by the level of customer service at the store. There were numerous employees standing around giggling, on their phones, and talking to one another while several customers needed help. Totally shameful, Target! read more

A good place to shop for some items. Don't expect the Manager or Employees to go out of their way to help you. They sure won't. The manager might even tell you the customer you are wrong or refuse your request to determine the correct price on a product. Always pay attention at checkout too. They tend to double charge or not charge the correct price for items that are listed at sale price. I find myself correcting the checker every time I shop here. The store itself is great, but there was an experience with an employee that put a bad taste in my mouth the other day. As many of you know, Target has an app which tells us what items are in stock and where they are located in the store. I was looking for a certain storage container, and it said it was in stock in this location on the app. When I went to the store there weren't any left. I thought no worries, I'll just ask an associate if there's any in another part of the store. When I found the first employee I could I *politely & calmly* asked Angela where I could find these containers, only to get an aggressive and angry response. It made me uncomfortable because all I wanted was the containers. It made me feel like I was annoying just for asking a question. She said, "Stay here. This is going to take awhile because the containers are in the very back and its hard to get to. I was in the middle of something until you interrupted me so this is going to take some time." I was very grateful to her when she eventually brought me the containers, but I was left flustered and kind of embarrassed because she made it such a big ordeal. read more

Horrible store and non existing customer service. I can't believe they operate this way in 21st century. I went there to return my internet purchase. They sent me home because it has not been 24 hours since I picked it up. Really? I drove all the way there and was not able to return it? First young girl was rude, but the second one who said she was a manager, was way worse. She yelled and said there is nothing we can do for you. Don't buy on target.com. Can you believe that? Now I have to go another day to make a return and I will NEVER buy anything there again. There is no management, just this young girl. She said her name was Brittany and she does not have a business card. She said 'Call home office' if you don't like it. Which store makes you wait 24 hours before you make a return/exchange? OMG horrible store. I left very upset. I feel bad for stakeholders when they notice less profit because of their rules and also their employees. read more
