I can't believe I wrote my last review of this Five Below location nearly 3 years ago! I came in yesterday to purchase toys for an upcoming Yelp Toy Drive Event and feel that I really got a good line up of quality toys, at a very reasonable price in total. We're smack in the middle of holiday season so it wasn't surprising to see a rather long line. To my delight, they had 5 employees each working a register so in true Five Below fashion, the light moved super fast. You really can't the deals here. Gosh, three years since I last wrote a review. I came back, and I was very disappointed. Avoid the overweighted guy with grey hair, he's not the nicest guy, and the others aren't that kind too. They can't work machines well. The selection is as bad as expected, because what can I say for a Five Below? They can't sell much besides candy and toys without selling anything that's over 5 dollars. The value isn't great either, especially because it's a Five Below. I understand that most older minimum wage employees aren't happy with themselves or their lives but that doesn't mean that they get to be so so rude. I went to check out and there was a solid line behind me and the five below counters are microscopically small so I just plopped my basket on there because there wasn't room for both me putting my belongings on there AND the cart so I figured he can scan and bag at the same time. Instead of politely asking me to take them out of the basket he decided that was an appropriate time to have a staring contest with me and then says "are you gonna take them out." Needless to say when the "were the staff friendly" question popped up on the pin pad popped up I laughed and was like hell no. Didn't say "have a good one" just gave me a dirty look as I left. This was todays experience (this is a slightly overweight older looking man who's hairs are starting to gray so avoid him lol), I've had another bad one though! They don't even deserve one star. This establishment is highly unprofessional. The employees have 0 customer service skills nor do they know how to work their own machines . Do better next time read more
