Went in for a costume for my niece and nephew. They have a very big selection, which was overwhelming as I was seen getting frustrated Stephanie came in and saved the day not only was she funny and nice but help me get a costume for myself. Also help me navigate the store with crazy children running around. And the one thing she did emphasis was the return policy which I really did appreciate because who wants to be stuck with costumes they don't want. read more

As soon as i walked in was told to leave because I had a book bag which I informed was my purse and also holds my medication. If you can't adhere to your clientele you shouldn't be in business. I always shop here and never had a problem. But now I'm an issue?? The cashier checking me out said absolutely nothing about that October 22 was the last day for return. When I returned the next day the RUDE girl at the customer service then explained the policy stating it's posting in the store and on receipts. How many people look at receipts or store signs? The sales associate should not assume: 1. Customers are aware of the cut off date, especially if said customer doesn't shop at that store EVER. 2. On the last day of the return- everyone should remind ALL customers VERBALLY!! If I had known about that while I was checking out I would've cancelled my purchase But this is the world we live in. I unfortunately had the privilege of visiting spirit Halloween this Saturday night. Upon entry, a young gentleman asked me to hand over my bag because they were checking bags. I informed him that it was my pocketbook, and there was no way I was giving him my leather bag. A young lady from across the floor, decided she was going to get into it and told him don't worry about it let her go, and I explained to him that I understood he was taking bags and this was my pocketbook. The young man understood but the young woman across the floor proceeded to be fresh and obnoxious towards me. I understand these are teenagers who are trying to get jobs and work, but it is unfortunate because it left a bad taste in my mouth and I would not be spending my money at that store. While my daughter wanted to purchase a costume, I am going to resort to Amazon because unfortunately rudeness does not warrant my money. These young kids need to understand how to manage customer service or stick to back room stock. I hope that no one else has to encounter a rude experience trying to buy seasonal Halloween costumes. read more

Ok! So, prepare for the long winded review... After many years of being "last minute", I was DETERMINED to get the kids costumes early this year. Let me tell you... it is a complete difference showing up early. The amount of choices available!!! I must admit it was a bit overwhelming. It's much easier to choose something when there's really nothing left. I didn't catch everyone's names but I was checked on by practically half the staff. Everyone that passed me asked if I needed assistance and it felt genuine to me. Not the generic "Its my job" that seems to be the new norm these days. STEPHANIE really stood out to me. She must have realized how frantic I was having stood in the same isle for over 10 minutes. This woman walked over to me and took her TIME. She talked to me, joked with me, and in the end narrowed my selection down to exactly what I needed. I even got something for myself. She walked me over to the register and imagine my surprise when I found out she was the manager! It could just be months of bad customer service, but my expectations have plummeted over the years. It felt nice to be seen, not rushed. This location did a great job with staffing. Go early if you can but definitely get your costumes from this location. You won't be disappointed. This store always has a large selection with various sizes in stock! The service is always superb . The staff was even helpful with finding accessories to my costumes. I will be back to this store every season. read more

the girl at the front was disgustingly rude. went in there a few hours ago and I was not aware they don't take returns even though I was there an hour before. I walked in there and asked to return something and i was yelled at by the employee. she kept saying with an attitude " we will tell you a million times we dont take returns" after i explained my situation. I work in customer service and i would never act that way no matter how bad a day I was having. the better way to handle it is "i'm sorry ma'am we don't take returns because ... " she was prob in a bad mood cause she doesn't have plans today :( if i could give negative stars i would. I have never written a bad review before however I was completely disrespected. this isn't even half of what happened. that girl needs to be fired. read more

Every year, Spirit sets up behind the Mens Warehouse for Halloween. The staff are very friendly and willing to help you at any time. There is a lot of cashiers. The selection of costumes for adults have decreased a bit, but thats fine. They have a lot of costumes for kids . They have great items for you to set up in the front of your home or for a Halloween party. Some things are decently priced and others are way over the top. They have almost everything you can think of when it comes to Halloween shopping. Stop by and look around , you won't be disappointed ! read more

Always had a great experience here but not this year! The staff were not helpful! They all stood around talking in groups saying "come on we got customers who don't need to know about that!"instead of stopping to see if you needed help! Finally get what I need and go to pay! When I approached the register, three workers who clearly were on the clock with name tags and all were talking like I wasn't even standing there!
