SELLING: * when you sell, you will get $ the day that you sell your items. This is similar to Platos Closet/Clothes Mentor, but unlike many of the Grandview consignment stores where you don't get $ until the store sells your item. I prefer getting my $ up front, so I appreciate that here. * You get ~30% of what they will sell your item for here, whereas you will get up to ~50% of sell price at the Grandview consignments for example. * You can also get store credit instead of cash here. In that case, they give you 25% more. Note that each Uptown is individually owned, so you can only use that store credit at the specific store you sell. *On average, you really only get $4-5 per item you sell here. * The wait time for selling your clothes is typically only ~5-15 minutes, and you're required to stay in store as they sort through on your first visit selling.
