I recently came back to this store to see what they had.... and man have they increased their stock. They have brand new things, to true antiques. And they have amazing prices compared to other thrift stores. I ended up purchasing 4 things - a dresser, two chairs, and a coat 'tree'. An employee walks with you, marks what you want to buy, then checks you out. They will then help you load big pieces. Over the years I've gotten amazing items and very good prices. But lately, I don't know who's pricing items, but their costs have gone WAY up ($100 for a small, used, unlit Christmas tree?) and many collectible items are as expensive or more expensive than they are on EBay. Identical items with sometimes have a $25 price difference (the Kincade villages, some china etc). I don't think it's worth going to that part of Morse road unless they fix the price problem. read more

The Lancaster, OH location is always well stocked and organized. They have a good selection most days and their prices are reasonable on most items. The staff is always friendly. This week while we were shopping, Leslie, went out of her way to bring us a basket because she saw my husband and I holding a stack of books while shopping around. She was so kind and helpful without us even asking for help. Great customer service and we thank you, Leslie for your helpful and caring heart. We enjoy shopping here! You can even order new furniture from them as well. We saved a lot of money by ordering from them and are very happy with our sofa and loveseat! read more

This store use to be a great place for the community about 6 months ago but now that have raised their prices almost to a new furniture store. I do not understand this store anymore. You get all your things donated to you to help the less fortunate but than raise all your pricing (100% profit) to an Ashley Furnisher??? They should be ashamed for what they are doing now!! You are no longer a donation help center you are a full blown furniture store that does not give back or help the communities you are located in. Whoever their new management is in these two stores (Columbus and Lancaster) should not only be fire but should be ashamed of what they are doing and the good work they once did for the less fortunate in each poverty stricken area in which they put their store. I for one will NEVER shop in either store again because it no longer helps the community but now take from them. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!! read more

Today I was thrift shopping for a few items. I came here looking for some accent chairs. The store is 90% furniture. They have maybe a couple of racks of clothes. Most of the furniture is used, but you may find a piece that is new. They have all been donated. They also have throw pillows, mirrors, tables, curtains, comforters and lamps. The prices are pretty fair. You can get a large sectional for $400-500. Or just a regular couch for $100 or less. The carry dining room sets as well. They will not help you get the furniture in your car because they aren't insured for that. If you need to come back and pick something up, you have three days from the date of purchase to do so. It's a good place to look if you're not picky and are looking for something inexpensive. read more

Very disappointed in this store.I had been looking at a dining room table for about a month. We went in on 11/8/20 and bought the table and chairs. We were informed we had three days to pick it up. On 11/10/20, we rented a truck to pickup the table and chairs. When we got to the store, they could not find it. They had me come in and look and it was no where to be found. I was informed that a bungee delivery was made that morning and they must have taken my furniture by mistake and there was no way to get it back. How does this even happen when i had a receipt? i was refunded my money and given a store credit of $20 for the inconvenience and the rental truck, even though this does not cover the cost. This was such an upsetting experience, I will most likely not be going back or referring them to anyone else. read more

So glad a friend tipped me off to this place. They have a lot of good quality secondhand furniture and if you're lucky you might score some nice linens. There seemed to be a lot of new linens from Restoration Hardware. Tags had a marker line through them, so I'm thinking they much be returns or from the warehouse sample closet or something. I didn't buy any furniture the day I visited because I was looking for something very specific but there were many nice dining sets that would be perfect for a family on a budget. Dining sets were priced separately, chairs about $25 each and tables ranging $50+ depending on condition. They also have some clothing, but not a wide selection. I'll probably swing by here next time I need some furniture with hopes they have what I'm looking for. Glad this place exists! read more

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!! I absolutely HATE thrifting. I don't like going through unorganized crap that's sorted by color. I don't like the claustrophobic feeling because everything is displayed so close together and I HATE the smell of thrift stores. With that being said, this thrift store is different. The lay out is much better. There is actually space to walk without running into things. The quality of merchandise is better. My husband & I bought a BRAND NEW tv stand for $100. AND it was assembled. You can't beat that price. They also have kitchen sets (tables & chairs), couches, loveseats, and just about any type of furniture you can think of. The people here are super nice and very helpful. They have some great finds. Highly recommended. read more

I enjoy thrift stores and fully understand that this place is selling used items. I don't know if it was just an "off" time for them but the selection was terrible and sparse. I was looking for a dresser and while they had a few, they were ugly and in awful condition. I quickly browsed through other areas but not a single piece was worth a second look. Not impressed. Furniture with a Heart is a retail shop sort of like Goodwill or Salvation Army stores. I was here on opening day doing volunteer work. What a great idea! I did not like the place after I bought a coffee table from them today.I ask the sale woman if someone could help me put it in my pick-up trunk and she said they don't help with loading it.I said I am missing one arm and she could see that.She said back they will not help,so I carried it by myself with one arm to my trunk an managed to get it in the back,while she was looking out the front window at me.I did not think that was very nice of her,handicap people do need help now an then.It saddens me and hunts me to think there is places that don't care.I am never going back to that furniture thrift store again!!!!! read more

This store is the best thrift store I have ever been in for furniture. There is a huge selection of furniture, nearly all of it in fantastic shape. I found a beautiful armoire that I am using to store clothing items. It is in PERFECT shape and was $15! I don't know if many OSU students know about this place, but I think it would be their number one destination for furniture items and other housewares if they did. read more
