I'm always impressed by the floral department at this store. They are given very little floor space but they make the most of it. Today, I needed a few items for the weekend and shopped mainly in the produce department. They had what I needed and it all looked great. just a heads up, do not shop at Kroger, especially do a pickup/online order with them, they charged us double again causing account to be overdrafted while saying "we cant do anything, just need to wait 3-5 business days" while they can take the money out immediately, we've missed hundreds of dollars of items on orders while being charged for them and told "you'll just have to come in and get them" and then placed an order at their deli and was told "we didnt receive the order" then they went and saw our paper sitting on their printer from the online order and was then told "you shouldve called in to confirm we got the order" read more

This is for the CHECKOUT only. As shopping for the snowstorm coming when checking out a cashier named KYN didn't greet or say anything. Rolled her eyes as I grabbed a couple of things from the checkout lane and just overall poor customer service. I used to work at a grocery store and never treated anyone that way, she clearly didn't want to be there, and her bagger was amazing I didn't catch his name, but when she scanned everything and it was paid, she didn't help him or anything she just turned around and did not use teamwork at all. She did not greet the next customer behind us either and the poor bagger was nervous and dropped a bag and was just stressed out and you could tell it was the negative energy from the cashier and not using teamwork. Walking throughout the store in the chip isle I don't know how many employees walked right through the chip isle with Cheetos all around the ground (curbside shoppers specifically) and also there was trash placed all around the isles on the shelves. read more

*NOTE* This review is strictly for the pharmacy! I have been going to this pharmacy for years, simply because it right next to my house and because of the fuel perks. I'm officially done with it. I will go somewhere else and forget about the fuel perks. They not only mess up my order in some way almost every single time I go in there, but they are not helpful at all when a problem arises. They rarely have medications in stock, regardless of the fact that I have a monthly prescription for thyroid medication that is set to automatically refill, they would wait til I came in to pick it up and tell me they don't have it. They never pay attention to the numerous coupons I have saved in my account to find me the lowest price, even though they told me themselves that's the reason they save them for me. They never look out for the good of the customer. They just turn people away left and right without even trying to help them remedy the issue. They never call when there is a problem. They just wait til you show up and then tell you they can't fill it. It's just unbelievable. I've had it with them. Do not even bother sending your scripts here. It's not worth the hassle just to get fuel points. I've been a loyal customer there for 10 years and I'm never going back. This is probably half the reason there is never the same staff when I go in there. I imagine they get yelled at a lot. It's a total cluster in there. read more

This Kroger is terrible. No one wants to help you and if you ask they scoff and give you an attitude. And don't even get me started with the pharmacy. I called in a prescription to be filled and the lady who answered was very rude and hung up on me. When I went to pick up my prescription the man who helped me was also very rude. He was discussing something with another worker and made my transaction last much longer than it needed to. He had a very condescending tone, this sucks because it's really close to home for me, but I'll have to shop and fill my prescriptions elsewhere. They updated the store but still have the same garbage employees. read more

The layout is terrible. The isles are not stocked with common food items like everywhere else now is. The self check out circle is only big enough to hold about 6 bags not a full cart of weekly family shopping. With only 3 real registers ever open this is a huge inconvenience. The prices are not cheaper anymore than anyone else. Plus the buy 5 buy 4 buy 10 is a pain in the butt to get the sale. I'm done. I'm going to giant eagle. read more

Where to start? There's a reason we call this place "picked over Kroger ". Usual experience is to go in with a list of 10 items and you'll be lucky to walk out with 7. Then go someplace else for three. Today's gem was the deli. Wanted a pound of bacon tomato salad. She tells me they have it but it's made without bacon because they were out. Uh aren't you in a grocery store? How does one sell bacon tomato salad when it doesn't contain bacon? At least I was informed before I took it home. It's nice this location is having a remodel. This Store looks small and unassuming from the outside. Once inside though, the store is spacious with really nice displays. A pleasant surprise was the State liquor store inside this Kroger. This store is nice, but I can't compare it to other Krogers in the area because this is the first one I have visited. read more

The dirtiest unstocked shelves and the constant moving of items in isle to another. I asked about some items I have always been able to get and was told they aren't ordering those anymore and two of the items were actually Kroger brands. I went into the kroger at Grt Southern and too my amazement it was fully stocked and you could eat off their floor it was so clean and open the kroger is huge, best of all the still have premium select meats in the deli and I have yet to see any prices like 10 to 11 dollars a pound. still find 4 to 7 dollars a pound. Grt. Southern is only 15 min away. Take some time to see this one you will be as shocked as I. My grocery bill went from 320.00 to 189.00 by going 13min away. It will be worth the drive. I heard the galloway store was closing. Not to hard to believe even though it was hearsay.. Good luck. read more

Purchased a whole pork loin Sunday night. The butcher shop worker sliced and wrapped it. I opened it tonight to separate to freeze. They were slimy, stinky and GREEN! There is no way they went that bad, that fast. I purchase pork loin regularly at the Georgesvillle Square Kroger with no problem. This is the first time from Galloway. I took them back and got a refund. Their attitudes were infuriating! No manager would even speak to me. No one cared their butcher shop was selling rancid meat. I've ventured to this Kroger over the past 10 years, simply because my sister lives close by. I'm a Kroger shopper by choice (GE is over priced), so whenever I'm on the west side, this is the go-to spot. Size? Yes! Many years ago, this Kroger expanded. Fantastic! Lots more of the once-was farm land area here is now being developed into housing. As a result, this store expanded to accommodate. Much larger produce section than was. One big thing: More Kroger brand items! For every name brand cereal, soap, frozen vegetable, Kroger has their own make. Pretty much the exact same thing, just cheaper! Oh yeah, and I'm a Kroger-er, when it comes to gas. So the fuel perks are always a plus! read more

Like my other review for the Georgesville location this place is nice and clean, especially after they redid their floors. The store is still under-going change. Some things are still being moved and the store is confusing compared to its old setup. The employees are helpful, nice, considerate and willing to help. The location is open 24-7. Their only downfall is a lot of time there are little to no carts. I would go back to this location as well, as its close, nice inside, convenient, and open all the time. read more

I've been coming to this store for the past two years and it has always provided me with the food I've needed. However, make sure that when you lock your car that you are leaving NO valuables out in sight for anyone to walk by and see. My truck was broken into with-in 15 min of me going into the store in broad daylight! I've since then stopped going and have instead transitioned to Giant Eagle which is close to my work. I was unhappy with the service in which the store manager dealt with my situation. read more

Horrible!! Don't go if you have more than one kid. There is no longer the free piece of fruit for your kids or any of the cool car carts. They took everything away. Also the old guy at the service center is worn out and beaten, you can barely hear him say anything and he gets mad when you don't respond, even if you have a child trying to get your attention. I always thought this was a better Kroger than the one on Roberts. It is not. This place was packed and not that clean. I will go back to my Roberts road location. It is better than the Cemetary kroger and the other one on West Broad. It is Kroger which has a Starbucks so it does have that going for it. read more

So i left a review the day this all happened it it's no longer visible... I'd like to thank #Kroger for the interesting morning (night) I had at one of your Columbus, OH locations (5800 west broadstreet.) So I go in to #Kroger @ 12AM 2/24/15 and the lady "Alice". walks up to me and tells me I need to leave because I came in the other day with a knapsack and took things. I told her I hadn't been there in a good while and she said i was lying and called security (which was seemingly other employees working). The guy told her I wasn't the guy but she said she will watch me while i'm there.I asked for an apology and she since she was wrong and she said "who cares if i'm wrong just go shop". I was confused and shocked said she wouldn't apologize til i paid for my things. After i left to get what i came from a guy gets on the intercom and claims they are closing in 5 mins due to an emergency. I asked for a manger and was told there was no manger there. As i left they closed the door. I then went to Walmart to shop, and when i circled back around 1250AM the doors were open and they were new cars in the parking lot (i'm sure they belong to shoppers) Say what you will about #Walmart but they have never accused me of theft even after proven innocent and then closed the store so I had to leave. #FAIL on #Kroger for treating me a third class citizen. #prejudice ? #racism? read more

This is the Kroger at which I shop the most often. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they remember you from visit to visit. I often use the store pharmacy, and they are very conscientious about accuracy and delivery estimates. If they are unable to fill a prescription for a few days, they are quick to offer alternatives. The 24-hour pharmacy is especially convenient to those who work different shifts rather than a 9-5 job. read more

Today's date is 8/26/12, I was looking for steak sauce today and picked one up dated 8/12/11. A year past the expiration date. When I shop here which is sometimes due to convenience I always find something past the expiration date but a year is way too long. Please get someone to check the dates.! read more
