My daughter and I love to read. She is more of a reader than I am. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly store worker. My daughter was given a a books a million gift card. The truth is she has had it for a while. There is a series that she is reading called the uglies and she is obsessed. She suggested that we go get it from Books a million since she had the gift card, so off we went. They have comic books and my daughter was so happy when she saw that! It was great to see her face light up. They also had the entire uglies series, as that is what we set out for. I looked around while gave my daughter some space! So much to choose from!!! Did I mention the two ladies were super sweet, helpful and patient. I was trying to let my daughter have her "independence" and pay for everything on her own. This is a gem and we will most likely be back before we leave Motown! Great customer service and a stellar selection!!

As far as Barnes & Noble Booksellers go, it's pretty much your run of the mill location,…read moretruthfully. The bonus side to this location is that they have plenty of staff working around the location to make sure you're getting what you need or assisting you when you can't find that book you were looking for. This location has a coffee shop located on the right-hand side of the bookstore and has a few tables for you to sit and hopefully not read the entire book before putting it back on the shelf... Anyway, the café was clean. I did try to go over there but the line was long and not moving fast and I was feeling impatient so I decided not to get anything. In the back of the store is where you'll find your movies, cds, and vinyl. I was pretty impressed with the selection of new vinyl they had in the store. I'm always shocked though at the prices of their DVD's and CD's knowing how cheaply they can be purchased elsewhere. The rest of the store was neatly organized in the traditional B&N fashion. Everything listed at the top of the bookshelves making it easy for you to find what you were looking for or maybe you'll stumble upon a book you never knew you needed. Either way, this location will suit you just fine.

I decided to check them out when a girl in my bootcamp class had on these screaming pink nikes and she said she had gotten them at Gabes for 30bucks. I was like wow! That's pretty awesome. I even went so far as to ask what size was she. I'm an 11 and it usually hard to get shoes for me, just the way it is. I walked in and was immediately impressed. Everything is relatively organized and very easy to find. Very very fairly priced! I mean down to the dime! Name brands galore I loved it! I will be returning alone so I can take my time and actually shop!

Sometimes unless you look like a contractor help at some places is hard to get…read more Not here at this Menards, I had my list ready for a deck build and Valerie T. stepped up to the counter assisted me with our order and even walked us over to where the joist hangers were, since I had missed them by an aisle as I was picking up other items. Mikel was our cashier with his friendly smile and polite attitude. It wasn't just because he was in air conditioning on a hot day because later he was in the garden area as a cashier. I didn't mention it was 90 degrees this day but out to the lumber yard Clayton rescued us and not only help us load the lumber but he took the loader over and picked up the 60 lbs bags of concrete and loaded them so we didn't have to drive our truck. Duncan and Bryan T. also impressed us with their friendly help and really made our shopping experience delightful. Although known of them accepted my offer to help build our deck they took that suggested with laughter. The value even without the 11% rebate was better than in our area on this date but sometimes the dollar talks in this case the staff will also be why we will return.

He was very rude, spoke overly loudly (and I say this as someone who wears hearing aids), and was gleeful (when I told him his attitude had me reconsidering shopping at Menards) about telling me the store didn't need my business. I did not feel welcome with my service animal, due to his behavior. I will nolonger be encouraging friends and family to shop at Menards and will probably cancel my credit card with the store. Hope that this guy somehow manages to make money for the store, cause he certainly turned me off today with my home improvement supplies list that I will be taking to Lowes.

I had a pick up order at this Walmart today, which is the closest one to me. They texted to let me…read moreknow my order was ready, yet when I arrived and parked in a spot I waited and waited, watching others get their orders loaded. Finally I called them. To make a long story short they lost my entire order. How? They accidentally, or mistakenly gave it to someone else. Merry Christmas to them! I had to wait about 45 minutes between the time they figured all this out and while they re-shopped for my stuff. It was hot, but thank God for air conditioning. If we senior citizens with health problems have things like this happen very often we might want to explore other shopping options?
