You won't get it....You're on your own, here. 1) Read every single word of the contract before you make that decision. 2) Communication was extremely difficult....couldn't personally talk to the people who could actually answer a question.....even if you go directly to the store. The people you need to talk to are never there. The contract so heavily favors the store owners 3) It will cost you money to transport any bigger items to the store (unless you have friends with pick-up trucks). 4) In the end....we made hardly any money......not worth the energy. 5) And since we were already gone.....we couldn't go back and pick up a piece of furniture (they said did not sell) to see if we could sell it ourselves. Personally.......I would not recommend. I was very disappointed. It was a horrible experience during an already stressful time.

I picked up a few items, including two expensive white pieces, only to realize they BOTH had visible stains on them. I brought them up politely and simply asked Scarlett P if they could be discounted, as this is something that has been done for me at multiple other TJ Maxx locations without any issue. Right from the moment she responded, her tone was rude, sharp, and unnecessarily argumentative. She immediately said, "I can't discount them, but I can put them as is and if the stains don't come out you can return them," in a way that felt dismissive and irritated, as if I was bothering her just by asking. That alone would have been fine if it was store policy, but the delivery was completely off putting. I still calmly asked if this location just does not allow discounts, because I was genuinely curious, not confrontational at all. From there, her attitude only escalated. She became even more aggressive, short, and dismissive, saying, "I'm just doing what I'm told. We don't do that here because it's already a discounted store," in a tone that felt belittling and confrontational. There was absolutely no reason for it. It was uncomfortable enough that even my partner, who was standing there, asked me afterward what her problem was. That is how obvious and unnecessary her behavior was. I want to be clear, if this particular TJ Maxx truly does not offer additional discounts on damaged items, that is completely fine. Policies are policies. But the way I was spoken to was unacceptable. It felt hostile and completely out of line for a simple customer interaction. To make matters worse, she said the items would be marked "as is" on the receipt, but she never actually did that. So now if the stains do not come out, I am stuck having to explain this entire situation just to attempt a return. I have shopped at TJ Maxx for years. Honestly, the majority of my wardrobe is from there, and I have NEVER been treated this way. I have always had positive experiences, which is why this stood out so much. This interaction was so uncomfortable and unnecessarily aggressive that it genuinely made me question whether I want to return to this location at all. No one should feel talked down to or borderline bullied for asking a simple, reasonable question. I want to be clear, this was not about what she said, it was entirely about how she said it. Her tone was so aggressive and confrontational that it honestly felt like she wanted to argue or escalate the situation. I was genuinely confused by the reaction, and to be honest, it made me uncomfortable to the point where I felt a bit intimidated. I also encourage anyone reading this to look at my profile. I rarely ever leave negative reviews, so the fact that I felt the need to write this should say a lot.

In the beauty and personal care area, you can find top brands of body wash, shampoo, and skincare items for a fraction of the price at department stores. I stopped in to do some Christmas shopping and found seasonal clothing such as ugly sweaters in a wide range of sizes. Their sister stores Marshalls and Home Goods are in the same shopping plaza and have a better selection of household items, but TJ Maxx has its fair share too. I recommend checking out both, as TJ Maxx had an item I wanted in the size I wanted and Marshalls did not. I don't think anyone visits TJ Maxx looking for anything in particular- I go in because I'm bored or have time to waste before an appointment. Still, I never leave empty handed.

I knew that I didn't have an option. But I talked to Google and I discovered Opie Drive-Thru Grocery. I was able to place an order and my husband went to Mount Pleasant (1 hour and 7 minutes away from Santee) to pick up the groceries. I prepared our Christmas dinner and it was possible because of Opie Drive-Thru Grocery. Placing the food order was a snap and although there were some items that weren't available, I had those staples in my pantry and fridge. My husband said that picking up our items was a great experience as the young man who assisted him was very friendly and professional. All I can say is that Opie Drive-Thru Grocery saved my Christmas dinner. We could have been eating ham sandwiches and potato chips but instead we dined on homemade lasagna and a garden salad. For a first, this was an awesome experience. Drive-Thru groceries. What a grand concept! ​

Got a coconut mocha iced coffee that was absolutely phenomenal and then we also got some pastries a doughnut and a homemade pop tart which is absolutely delicious and baked fresh Customer service was exceptional and I love this easy inconvenient concept of a drive-through gas station with amazing prices. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Mount Pleasant.

Not good at all…read more Although this store has courteous staff and it's in a convenient location next to the Harris Teeter and Home Depot; and donations are easy to drop off, there are a lot of issues. This Goodwill is terrible. There is a smell that hits you when you first enter and the place makes me feel dirty. The selection is abysmal and very low quality which is unusual considering it's located in a rather affluent area. This has to completely cleaned and renovated because this is one of the worst Goodwills I have been to in the area.
