This is the third in the bathroom series. Goodwill on six mile rd in Mt. Pleasant is the location. I had to use the facilities during my morning travels. Again I was pretty shocked at the cleanliness of the restroom. You definitely know you are not in an upscale place, but if you are in a pinch and need a place in a hurry you could do worse.

This location has a very wide selection of clothing and is well sorted. Kitchen supplies are also pretty complete with a good selection of small appliances. Furniture isn't their thing here. If clothes is what you're after, this is the location for that need.

This place is so rude! I left without leaving my items. I'll go to another Goodwill with nice people!

So many things are donated but just junk on shelves. Where do all of the nicer donations go?

Don't donate to goodwill. They refused clothing and said it would be thrown away. Donate to the Salvation Army

I came to Exchange Factor three times this week and it was worth it. I ended up with two dope suit jackets. The service is top notch. Everyone is really kind and chill. Joan, the owner, is amazing. I spoke with Joan a couple of times and she took the time to describe what items she likes to buy from people. The atmosphere is fun with tons of good music playing. Saturday was real fun with lots of folks shopping, but even with several folks shopping people are chill. This isn't Goodwill and you aren't going to find boring pieces here. You'll pay a bit more but it's value buys that will lead to good looks. Charleston is very lucky to have Joan and Exchange Factor.

My friend found a fun shirt as well so then we went outside and were able to choose 6 items for free amongst the two of us. Honestly, the stuff outside is more picked over, but it's not junk. We picked up some really cool finds that made our haul that much better. I wish I had more time, but I got a punch card filled up so now I can come back and get a discount on my next purchase.

I have made multiple calls trying to inquire about an appliance, as is an option on their phone menu, and has always been a kindly provided service in the past. Today, I was sent to a message system and received an unrequested text to my phone, without me providing my number or a request...about scheduling a time to pick up furniture. Maybe they switched to AI, cause my whole experience with them has been complicated, obtrusive and infuriating. I do not want to drive nearly an hour to gamble on whether they have any of the appliances in that I need to replace the ones in my own household. This used to be a store that was there to help and benefit the community, save trash from the dumps and make surviving more in reach for families and individuals in our area. It seems as though they have moved from their part in the community service and care section. I was treated rudely and with disregard, when they used to be helpful and kind. What a disappointment and contrast to the service they used to proudly provide to our island communities. Kindness, respect and compassion makes people's lives better and you used to be able to depend on that from the East Cooper Home store. That, it seems is now a thing of the past. Perhaps they are busy with the designers in Mt Pleasant, and don't have time for the working families that make up and serve the island communities of Charleston.

Let me tell ya... this is the place to be if you're looking for consignment furniture! I hate to even leave a review saying this, considering I am still wanting to find some specific pieces for my house and I don't want other people getting there before me and taking what I'm looking for, but I should not be a gatekeeper. I love the furniture and other variety of items (lighting fixtures, televisions, computer monitors) that they have available. Most items appear to be in pretty good quality. It seems like if you are a seller this would also be a good place. I think I saw signs talking about how they will come pick up the furniture from your home in one of their large trucks. Having needed to do something like that before, I can tell you that's a pretty good option to have. This is easily my favorite furniture consignment shopping in Mount Pleasant. And definitely top three of all time. I have never purchased anything from here so that may be a different story when J do, but check back at some point, I'm sure that will change.

(This may not be a bad thing for some so don't get me wrong.) If you're looking for special something that represents Charleston -- look no further than Modern Manor! There are some items that are right on point for what they should cost. However, I did find many things slightly over-priced. Again, this is a place where MANY local artisans can display their goods, so you've got an eclectic experience awaiting you as soon as you walk through the doors! There's a central checkout right at front and center-- I think I noticed two cashiers up front to check you out! Had I not have tried to take in the entire store I will say if you had a question at any point during your perusal, you might be out of luck to find someone. That being said-- I absolutely LOVE that they have included a local craft coffee shop in Harlow & Pearl to add to the charm of the converted barn market for a Country Chic feel. Love that you can grab a coffee and shop at your leisure without someone looking over your shoulder so you're able to experience everything at your own pace. It's a nice touch. The nature of the size of the place, lends it to being a nice space to spend a lazy afternoon, especially in the rain, to look for the perfect gift for that special someone to suit whatever specific occasion you might need to serve!
