Five Below is a discounted retail store with the usual mishmash of items and all are available for five dollars or less (hence the name). Since it is in the Waterford Lakes Town Centre, parking is not an issue. Service is decent and about what you would expect from a dollar store type place. I picked up a few T-shirts here. They have a bunch of stuff and I.am sure that you will find something that you never knew you needed and now you know you can't live without. All in all, a good experience. read more

Five Below is a glorified dollar store where everything is $5 or less, hence the clever name. However, that limits them from having certain types of items like a Dollar General for Family Dollar. Basically, it's a store to find a cheap gift for a friend you don't care for that much or maybe some toy cars or other plastic crap as it's called. (I don't mean that in a bad way, it reminds me of a band I saw long ago called "Plastic Crap" where the band members left the stage with trays of little plastic figures and whistles and such to hand out to the 10's of people there to watch). Anyway, if you're shopping at Waterford Town Center and are fancying some cold soda pop and some sour patch kids or chips, then you might find a bargain here to satiate your appetite. If you're in heels like I was that day, you may find a cheap pair of sandals (a bit higher quality than Dollar Tree) to more comfortably walk around in, or maybe even get a skateboard to take the load off. Activity Books, Clothing, Helmets, and Pool Supplies, none of which require capitalization, may also be available. It's definitely a cornucopia of various items that's always worth browsing around. Five Below can be different depending on the location and time of year. Sometimes you can find some amazing deals and other times its more of a "meh" experience. They have branched out and now there are a few items that are MORE than $5 but it's not many of the items. I find this is a great store to shop for candy and inexpensive cell phone cases and screen protectors. You can also find some kid items (toys, books, blind boxes) for current trends so great for filler B-Day, Halloween bag, Easter Basket or Stocking Stuffer. Should your visit be not so great be sure to try another location or come back in a month to see what might be new. read more

A fun and unique chain with plenty to offer! On the Target side of Waterford, this store is a newer one for the area. If you've been to a dollar store it has a similar vibe, but everything is $5 or under, thus the name! They have a wide variety of items from exercise equipment to Disney tsum tsum chapsticks! It's a great store to find party supplies, since they are really cheap and since I only use party supplies once and then usually tear them down in a hurry, it's a cost effective way to keep things cute but budget friendly. I've also found some really cute t-shirts here. They have a wide variety of shirt, but note that the women's shirts are fitted cut, so you may want to consider going a size up for a better fit. Pros: This store is a better than one of those shantytown dollar stores. They have a good variety of items, some are brand name, and others are hard to find items that you though didn't exist anymore. Cons: More than half of their inventory is composed of generic items, knockoffs of brand names, and most of it is made in China. My sister first introduced me to Five Below about 10 years near her house in the suburban Philadelphia area. I didn't realize Five Below was a national chain but it is nice to see it in Florida. As other reviewers have mentioned, Five Below is a step up from dollar stores. Here you can find all sorts of novelties, action figures, candy, gum, clothing, personal care items, and so on. All items are priced $5 or less.The store was very crowded on Saturday afternoon but the line moved quickly and the employees were cheerful and efficient. read more

Nothing over $5. Great for miscellaneous household items & some cellphone accessories that cover all bases, cosmetics, candies & snacks. That said it is a fun place especially for kids with lots of books, plush & current popular toys. You can get a lot for a little. Give it a try. read more

A while back I saw that this place had opened and had never heard about it. I guess I was in a rush due to work and studies and totally forgot to upload pictures and return to this very cool place. First impression... "A high-end dollar store"! As weird and contradictory as it might sound, I can't think of any other way of describing it. Here, you will find well-known and good quality brands (Such as Five Star, for School supplies and EOS, for skin care) and they will be under $5.00! Take it from somebody that enjoys school supplies just as much as skin care products that these are great prices! A Five Star notebook with 5 tabs under $4.00? I'm sold!! Also, you will find movies, even Bluray movies under 5 dollars. Keep in mind that they are probably a few years old (meaning not the newest blockbuster), but worthy of checking out for movie aficionados that like collecting movies and often look for those older movies on Bluray (Like us!). I haven't been to other locations from Five Below but this one impressed me since it is always clean, organized and has polite employees. Finally, I noticed they have a bit of everything... ranging from Jewelry to coloring books. From Creative and funny t-shirts (need to buy one to see if they last more than a few washes) to patio items. It's incredible! I can't believe I haven't visited this place recently... Specially considering my obsession with school supplies and actually having an excuse to buy them (Did I mention I've been studying for my licensing exam? LOL). This is a new location in Waterford and its already packed. They sell many cool and inexpensive items. I would like to explore the entire store next time. The clothes are cute but I wouldn't purchase any. They had flip flops for $2. And I bought a speaker lava lamp for $5 the quality was not great for the sound however, the aesthetic of the lava was good enough in my opinion. I really enjoy looking at the variety of items that were on the shelves. They had inexpensive beauty products and tools. I love the beach ball display and the collection of toys they had to offer for kids. After a few rounds in the store, I noticed that a couple of girls were squealing over for phone cases. They have large selection of phone cases, portable chargers, power banks, and television cables. After those displays are snacks. They are a bit pricey-ear than regular stores such as publix/target. They had cute Mario Kart candy. I tried one of the mushroom shaped candy... The design is cute but the candy is a no go. It was nasty. I purchased it because of the Kawaii casing. The line of the check out was really quick. When we are checking out we will be able to see a massive pile of delicious everyday candy. They are 25 cents a piece. I couldn't help but grab a few airheads and sour patch kids. The sour patch kids are huge compared to the ones in the bags. They were all individually wrapped. I noticed that most of the candy were out of stock since they were so busy! Overall, I would come here again when I'm visiting tjmaxx or super target. read more

Everything here is a great deal. everything is $1-5. I went to the one back at my parents' home a few times (south Florida) so I was excited to see this location opening up last month. Sadly I couldn't go grand opening's deal; first 100 people get a gift card (varies $5-100) cuz I had to study for my exam. But anyways, the stickers and magnets are pretty good deal here. It's where I brought my Marvel and DC stickers and magnets. The pool floats and outside portable chairs are pretty good deal. Even tho the chairs are small but great to sit on and easy to carry to around. Their phone cases are not that bad. I can't say for some of the Chargers cuz it hasn't been awhile yet but don't get the wristband charger. It's on and off on charging your phone. If you have a life proof case or have the same shape and hardness as a life proof case, the charger won't fit in. They have emoji pillows here for $5 which is way better deal than the mall's prices. They don't have the poop emoji yet, I'm waiting on it. There's Simpsons' energy drinks; flaming Moe's and Duff for under $4 which is a way better deal than Universal. So if you're a Simpsons fan, get them. There's staff people everywhere so if you need help, they are there! read more

This place is pretty cool. It's an upgrade from a dollar store (which I actually love)! They have a variety of things including fitness apparel, really cute graphic tees, art supplies, games, cute little knick knacks, make up, etc! I've actually purchased some really cute things for gift ideas. The couple of times that I have been in here, the customer service wasn't the best but not the worst. I have definitely have had friendlier experiences elsewhere but not a total deal breaker for me! read more

I agree with Michelle M.C.! This is a "high-end dollar store"! Probably my favorite one, if I had to chose one. They have good quality products and a bit of everything. Even cool t-shirts! I'm not sure if they would last more that 5 washes, but for under $5.00, why not? I'm soon buying at least two, to try them out. Also, they have mini skateboards for $5.00 (they seem sturdy enough), a HUGE candy selection, perfect for making a stop before catching a movie, DVDs, Blurays (not your most recent blockbusters, but a respectable movie collection with even a few classics for those of you who are updating their DVD collection to Blurays. Finally, they have a lot of cool and inexpensive toys which I often check out so I can spoil my niece and nephew! Worth checking out!! read more
