Great store, great prices, but they don't keep things in stock often enough! If they keep things in stock it would be a better experience!

Boxes and clothes baskets accepted. 2) Expect to pay more for purchases and get less for your items. 3) Need to leave vintage( although site says vintage) items out. Only want items 1-3 yrs old. 4) Do call before you take stuff in because they are now limited on storage and ask for what seasonal items they can handle. Tired of carrying stuff back. Requires a second trip. 5) Alternative to selling items is to take them is using Good Will. They provide with a receipt to put a value on your donation to be used as tax deduction. If in good condition I put 30-50 percent of original price. Plus they educate and provide jobs to handicap people who otherwise could not work. Fulfills my helping others needs. 6) If they are that over-crowded on space that they can not take all seasons they need to be giving excess to the area womens shelters.

I have been a customer before of Simply Chic. One of the reasons I have liked supporting them in…read morethe past, is they are local and smaller than some other stores. It's probably been 8 months or so since I was in last. I went in looking for a good pair of used blue jeans. Wow, I was shocked by the prices. One pair I found was $35 for a pair of used blue jeans. I think I found one pair for under $20. I am sorry, but I am not ok spending that much on used blue jeans. So I passed. I did look in active wear, the prices were a bit better, but not by much. I get that the store is trying to make money. For me, if I am going to pay that much. I will just spring for the new version. $20-$35 dollars for used blue jeans is ridiculous. Like I said, I wanted to support local. At this point I am looking at other options. Online, picking through goodwill, or waiting a bit and saving for brand new. As far as service goes. I can not speak on that. I didn't interact with anyone.

Gosh I wanted to love this store. It reopened under a "scale" type system. $1.99 a pound with a 5…read morepound minimum. Now this is hard. Items are primarily unmarked Amazon returns. You cannot open to see what is inside. Sometimes it is clothes, which weigh less than 5 pounds. So if you find something you better find more. There were bins throughout a warehouse to sort through....again unmarked without clear distinction of what is inside. I gave 2 stars because the women working were extremely friendly...but that's about it. Unfortunately I don't plan to return.

Well, after being closed for many months, they apparently decided to try a new concept and reopen…read moreat the same location. Previously, items were priced individually with a floating price schedule based on the day of the week. Under the "revamped" arrangement, they are now pricing items based on weight ($1.99 per pound) every day. Problem is, you can't identify what you are purchasing as you are still prohibited from inspecting the contents, and the packages are taped to the point of complete concealment. The quantity of available packages is minimal with each of the bins (about 20 of them) having a countable limited quantity in them. And in addition to this, signage on the walls indicates that the minimum purchase is 5 pounds. Therefore, if you do want a single lightweight item, you are committed to spending $10.00 on it. Many of the packages are 15-20 pounds in weight which means you are buying an unknown item of unknown condition and will be spending $30-40 for it. The items being offered are likely rejects of items that were not/could not be sold on their auction site. This is an attempt to unload the rejects. Clearly, the individuals who developed this concept don't have ANY business logic as this arrangement is so flawed that it can't help but completely fail. This place is not worth anyone's time and I had to laugh inside when I saw what they had developed as a business concept. I give them 3 months. Tops.

If your home is decorated in one of these styles, stop in. I enjoy browsing Outta the Shed in Plainfied because the staff is so friendly, and the items are clean, quality pieces, and booths are restocked often. The shop smells amazing from the moment you walk in. All types of candles and melts are to the left as you enter and throughout the shop. This trip, I was looking for a few new pieces to refresh my home after removing my Christmas decoration and taking back to storage. My home always feels bare and not as cozy after removing the Christmas decor. My main reason for running around in this bitter cold is to add more greenery, maybe some new artwork (looking for botanicals), and maybe some new throw pillows for additional accent colors. The prices are reasonable, so I can afford to replace smaller accent items when I tire of them. I only picked up two new candles and 3 packages of candle melts today, but I took pictures of several items I could use. The items change often, so I need to pop back in soon after they restock with new items. Affordable, unique pieces, collectibles, antiques, linens, cookware, purses, hats, with a dedicated area for current and vintage jewelry and clothing with numerous jeans, and a variety of boots and shoes. If your home is decorated in one of the above-mentioned styles, stop in the shop.

Since this is an open air location, there is not food court, but plenty of restaurants at the mall as well as the surroundings. You will not go hungry here. This is an outdoor shopping mall, a moving away from the traditional mall concept and yet it has its own issues (especially during winter). Like most malls, Perry Crossing has experienced some of the more traditional anchors going away. You've definitely got some of the familiar places from a traditional mall - JCPenney, Yankee Candle, Bath & Body Works, Claire's, Dick's Sporting Goods and others. Food options here? Bru Burger, El Toro, Hot Box Pizza, Schakolad Chocolate Factory, Rocket Fizz, Stone Creek Dining Company, Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, and Theo's Italian. There's a Barnes & Noble here. There's AMC Perry Crossing. There's a splash pad for the kiddos. There's a family restroom between Zales and Yankee Candle (also available for nursing moms). Curb cuts are solid. Accessible parking is plentiful. Because this is an open-air concept, be aware that as accessible as everything is you'll still be going from store-to-store outside for the most part. So, plan accordingly. I generally do fine here, however, for those with mobility concerns or who might require assistance it's important to remember that during inclement weather you're not really protected from the elements. Overall, I like this shopping center. Things are well labeled, well organized, and parking is pretty reasonable. While it's not my favorite Indy retail spot, I often forget how much I like it until I am here.

Just a quick review on my experience at this hispanic indoor "mall" in Indy. I was cravaing ice…read morecream and we had some time to kill so I made my bf pull over to get ice cream at this random Yelp find about 5 minutes from where we were when I suddenly desired ice cream. Now... I took 8 years of Spanish but my brain went haywire and I couldn't say a single word of Spanish. That was a problem as everyone spoke Spanish. And not everyone spoke English. That's not a problem, of course. I should have been more prepared but my big dumb dumb brain failed me. There are at least two places to order ice cream inside. We got ice cream from the stand right by the entrance. That was the wrong one as I had wanted to try the stand with the unique flavors like corn and horchata. The one we went to had like a dozen basic flavors and milkshakes. Do a little bit of wandering inside if you want to find the stand with the unique flavors. There are dozens of other stalls inside, selling all sorts of stuff from cheap garbage to even dishwashers and hot tubs! We didn't see what the food trucks outside had. My bf got 2 scoops of ice cream ($5.50) and I panicked ordered a massive size of an oreo milkshake ($8.75 and 80000 calories). It was okay. Not as good as a DQ Blizzard which is top tier in the oreo mix em up game. Prices are barely on anything so make sure to brush up on your basic Spanish. As for the bathroom, it was messy, busy, and well worn. Also, parking was near impossible and potholes are abundant. Yikes. I am glad we tried this interesting experience, but I don't think I will ever go back.

I'd visit again, especially to check out the restaurant in the back!
