Playmobil used to be more popular in Florida, as there were once a couple of Playmobil Fun Parks - one in Orlando, one in Palm Beach Gardens. The brand, behind Star Wars, was my favorite toy throughout the 80s, and somehow I just haven't been able to stop collecting them. The staff have always been welcoming and friendly, and each went out of their way to look up information about toys we've inquired about. The prices are decent. As a locally owned and operated store, I'd expect the price to be a little higher than what you'd expect from a well-known, brick-and-mortar business. There is a clearance section, which is nice, but it doesn't help me, particularly... At any rate, St. Augustine is Florida's most captivating city, and Old Towne Toys is one of its finest treasures, and my favorite part of going there.
