It can seem a little disorganized in the aisles at times but if you're willing to spend just a few minutes in each aisle looking around you can get some good merchandise at very reasonable prices. I saw a worker fixing shelves and moving products to their proper places so I can definitely see that when the aisles need attention the workers are right on it. They have a good gardening section for those who like to grow their own indoor and outdoor plants. There is also a nice food department stocked with pastas, sauces, candies and snacks. I do enjoy browsing through their beauty aisle where you can find some good discounted cosmetics. Definitely not top shelf brands but it's always great to try something new and get a break on prices at the same time. Last time I was there I found some good cleaning supplies and trash bags for the house since I was running low on those types of items. My purchases on this visit to the store were the cleaning supplies that I needed plus I treated myself to a bag of cookies. There was a bit of a line at the front registers but it moved quickly. The cashier was a pleasure to deal with and did a good job. Definitely swing by here if you are looking for some good deals. You never know what you may find!

You get what you paid for and found out that this item was a very thin plastic cover with elastic on the bottom and fused pieces . It fit nicely but it split at the seam as you can visually see on the photo where I had to repair it with duck tape . I should return it and shop elsewhere. But for now I need to cover my grill! Besides I threw away the packaging once I used it!******** If the manager sees this and says I can return it without the original packaging and my receipt THEN I WILL!

The prices are great and you can get a good bang for your buck here.

But for the most part, they recognize that a solid browse is usually needed before you'll be ready to check out up front. I admit, once I find my books I always (always!) take a right turn before checkout to do a solid walk-thru of the papers, calendars, binders, candy- everything yu need to have cool, pretty things on your desk or bookcase. And theyy get me every time. I ike that you can put a book aside to pick up and pay in store. Some times I'm not 100% sure that I'm buying the book I want, so it's handy to not have to pre-pay for a pickup. The selections on the tables up front are usually fairly interesting - mysteries, current releases, popular titles. There's always something there that I haven't read, or a great gift idea. Yep, people still like to give and get real paper books! While I keep a dozen or so ready-loaded on my Kindle, my first love are books that stay with you and I'm always gifting one to someone who I know still reads, or is learning to read, or doesn't know that they need to READ A DAMN BOOK! Because I'm only there to help! Go. Listen to a story time. Attend an author event. Or get a Starbucks at the counter and grab a table. There are many worse ways to spend some time quieting your mind.

When I happened upon the Barnes & Noble at Derby St Shops, I came to realize that I had somehow been mentally convinced that there were no more open locations. So this was a pleasant surprise! Nice and spacious with a well decorated children's area and a Starbucks on the right. Stop on by and peruse some books!

After going tot he one in the Natik mall we gave this location a try! This one is much closer to us…read morein Boston. So this location works like any other build a bear store. We had gone because from our last purchase we got a free $10 off on our next purchase in the store. So we got to walking around and found one we liked. We then went over and picked out a voice box this time around. (Last time we got the beating heart!) You then wait in line to have your bear stuffed! When its your turn they then ask you if you would like your bear soft, hard or some wheres in the middle? We picked the middle. Seems to work best that way. They then stuff the bear for you! Then tie up the backing for you. At this point you then go and pick out anything else you would like the bear to have/wear. We got a shirt, pants and hat. You then go to a computer and put all of your information in. It makes the bear a birth certificate. Its pretty easy! Any young child could do it. The computer walks you through. Its pretty clear on its own. It then prints it out for you and you then go to the front counter to pay for your bear. Now this time we didn't have much reaction with the employees at this spot. Now normally that's not really an issue. The only problem is after they rang us out we saw a sign saying we could have had another whole bear for only another $5 for spending over $35 in the store....So they didn't wanna re-ring it out and told us they wouldn't be able to give us that deal. So that was sorta lame. If your a sales employee its your job to tell us about the sales. Mainly because its around Christmas and it would have been a GREAT add on for a gift for someone. Oh well! Over all the time spent here wasn't bad. I am taking 2 points off for not telling us about the bear. Just thought an easy reminder to us would have been much better. An ok 3/5...Some things could have been better! Well let you know if they are better on our next visit!
