The onions weren't really sautéed as much as I like either. The beans and mac were unfortunately some of the most flavorless sides I've had in a long time. The beans almost had a sour taste. If you are used to Bush's Baked Beans these aren't it for you. Tenders were ok and thank goodness the tots were right. Other than that I'll probably continue my search for a good local hot dog joint.

They picked a perfect spot in Bristol Borough that they seemed to have partnered with Naked Brewing on. If you have kids the downstairs area is ok, but with live music I had to take my son upstairs to preserve our hearing! We found parking in the large municipal lot behind the building. Upstairs we found cozier seating at a high top table with service. Downstairs I believe you have to walk up to the bar or just sit at the bar for service. I also don't believe the full beer menu is available downstairs. The menu is full of tempting toppings and styles with your choice of regular/footlong dogs, hot sausage or kielbasa. I had a hot sausage with pepper hash and coleslaw. It had a snappy skin, decent heat and was delicious when paired with the sweet coleslaw and pepper hash. My friend ordered frank and tots and reported it to be delicious and filling. My son had a regular dog and we all shared a big pretzel with beer cheese. I had an IPA named Thank Frank that was about average for a West Coast style IPA and my pal had a couple of their darker offerings that he wasn't impressed with. Our server was nice and gave a great recommendation to add the pepper hash. She wasn't the fastest at coming to check on our beers so we bailed. I had one and she never asked if I wanted another and never refilled our waters. Prices weren't too bad. I would definitely return for some more of the interesting creations on the dawg menu, but the brews are really nothing special. Good solid time here and kid friendly, not so great service or beer.

What really makes it unique is the fact that you can place your food order and then go grab a craft brew in a plastic cup and then walk back to get your food. Or, if you prefer to bring your food to the bar area, you can do that too. We had a hankering for burgers and wanted to give Lucky's a try. I'm glad we did and it was an enjoyable experience. We ordered a share basket of fries which were perfectly cooked crinkle fries. They had ketchup available as well. We each got a burger, one classic and one Oklahoma style which had two patties. The classic had more of a Kaiser roll whereas the Oklahoma had a potato bun. The meat was fresh, not frozen and cooked nicely on a flat top. The onions on the Oklahoma were sliced incredibly thin but for some reason were not soft enough to bite through (my only disappointment). It's easy to find as the doorway is right down from Rita's on Ridge Avenue. Give it a try!

Since they are not open for lunch during the week I made sure to stop in on a Saturday in November to grab a burger. Normally I'm a burger purist but on this trip I decided to go with their Oklahoma Onion Butter Burger and a side of fries. I paid via credit card when I ordered.(they were not accepting cash). After about 10mins or so my order was ready. The burger has (2) patties and onions. Flavor was on point but the overall size of the burger was small for me. I could have easily eaten two of them. The side order of crinkle cut fries was equally small and they were just warm. Overall the meal was good and I would eat here again. However if I'm craving a top notch burger I will probably choose one of the other options in the area.

After taking the drive to Lahaska, we were looking for a vegetarian friendly bite to eat before wandering around and stumbled across Top Dog. This tiny shop keeps it simple with a menu of dogs and fries: plain, Chicago style, Seattle style et al, and any dog can be made with a veggie sausage. We both got a veggie dog (hers with sauerkraut, mine with kimchi) and a pickle spear, and split an order of crispy fries. The dogs were better than expected, with nice savory notes, while the kimchi brought the bite. The owner was very friendly and more than happy to accommodate

It's not often that I crave hot dogs, but something about a hot dog on a hot summer day just seemed right, and Top Dog definitely delivered. Their menu was longer than I imagined a hot dog place being, with various toppings and combinations to try. I was surprised to hear about the two different sizes of hot dog, along with the option of a chicken dog and a veggie dog. They're really accommodating to everyone who enters! When stating that it was our first time in, the one staff member excitedly explained the entire menu to us and informed us that if there was something we liked/didn't like for any option, she would be able to custom make a creation for us. You could really tell that she loved her job, making us even more excited to have a bite of the hot dogs. We opted for the Memphis Dog and it was such a great snack to hold us over while we walked around Peddler's Village. I love the shop and wish them much success, as I know anyone who enters will love them just as much as we did!

This is a very old looking spot it is by no means a gold mine for this man, if you just like hot dogs and want to try some home style ones with fun toppings it's good for a glizzy. Service: Lenny met me when I came in and was helpful in guiding the recommended build of the combo, a good fresh bun with a soft breaded fish(cod)/potato cake that filled the bun+glizzy. He tells me the history of before, mothers used to sell the fish cakes to other families during hard times. Recommends a chili dog as my second dog which is always a good standard check. Combo starts with a good fresh bun with a soft breaded fish(cod)/potato cake that filled the bun. The dog is pressed into it this. A broken in half slice of cold cheese but it acts as a raincoat for the wet slaw a bit too much but also just right, it was sweet and vinigery cut through the richness I wrecked it. The chili dog was like a ketchup style sauce almost sloppy Joe, the meat wasn't broken up well which I like it had nice texture. Onions were big but worked they had good crunch factor. It was just solid nothing wild but tasty for sure. My feeling: This is a little spot that is worth the stop in if you're feeling a dog and don't need to be catered to or need it to be a surgery room. It's borderline dingy but it's got some hearty I will for sure grab a dog again.

Also had a chili dog. Chili was good but lukewarm. The hot dogs themselves tasted like they were griddled earlier and just kept warm over time. Overall, the experience left a lot to be desired. I hoped to like it more but it seems like they're running on the fumes of nostalgia.
