Can't really go wrong with five guys. I have 3 stars because there really wasn't anything special with them. Their food is your average fast food kind. Also, the sides are all an up charge, it would be cool if the chain did some combo options. I was please with the staff, they were all super friendly and accommodating. The wait was decent considering the time of day (lunch time) and how busy the area was at the time. The seating area is pretty tight but there is a good amount overall. It was a good trip, burger was made as ordered and it came out in a timely manner. Staff was tending to the dining area while we were there so that was nice to see. Behind the counter staff was training what appeared to be a new employee appropriately. I get that any "fast food" restaurants will have their off-days. I can't honestly say that I've never had a "bad" visit to Five Guys. But generally speaking, their food rarely disappoints. I've been to this particular location plenty of times to know that kids working there can be hit or miss. But like I said, it's a fast food joint. It's not like it'll be run smoothly like a Michelin Star restaurant, you know what I mean? Do some of these kids look annoyed sometimes? Yes. Do they lack personality sometimes? More often than not. Do they mess up your order? Every so often. But do they mess up on the taste of their burgers, or their peanut oil fries? In my experience, not very often. In my opinion, Five Guys burger generally hits the spot on what a burger should taste like. Also the amount of fries they purposely spill out beyond those tiny cups always makes me smile. It's definitely more expensive than your usual fast food burger joints. But it's also not as expensive as those you'd get from a diner-style burger places that charge you $15 per burger, either. I prefer FG over those sit-down places. The trouble with craving burgers is that you usually have lots of competition around any given area. If you're traveling and looking for a nice burger places to try, you'll usually have to look through a decent number of choices between local mom-n-pop places and the likes of Five Guys before making your final choice. And it's not going to be an easy competition for FG because people take their burgers seriously. But in my book, as long as there's one available near where I'm looking, FG will always be a contender among the best burger places to choose from. read more

Great place to eat at if you are looking for a burger. There are peanuts available while having a burger. The food was delicious and so were the fries. Service was fast, and the place was loud. Having lived in the west coast for a while, I got used to the legend that is In N' Out Burger. Moving east, it no longer exists and is missed dearly. Five Guys is the next best thing you'll get. I consider it the whole Trinity of burgers that are not restaurant tier, but above fast food. In N Out, Five Guys, and Elevation Burger. Food is leads fresh no matter what. You wait a tad bit longer, but it's always worth it to get a fresh genuine burger and the freshest fries ever. Five Guys outs the majority of other fries to shame. They come in large portions and they are always hot and tasty. They receive their potatoes from different plantations monthly I believe, so once in a while you may notice difference in taste. I always get the bigger burger sizes to fill me up, and adding both bacon, along with grilled and raw onions makes it even better. Make sure you stock up on napkins because you will get oily and greasy hands fast. I wonder why they don't just out a roll of paper towels at their tables like in some BBQs. Drinks are from the fancy 100+ soda machines with endless mixtures. I'd say my only complaint is that the tables tend to be small and cramped. If you are in a big party, you'll have to pair up tabletops to fit food and people. Other than that, make sure you put all your effort into opening the doors, they're a bit heavy at this location (especially with the wind). read more

Ordered online and when I got there at 7pm the doors were locked. With people eating inside, no closed signs, and store hours going until 9pm, I figured it was a mistake. When an employee saw me he came to the door, but just looked at me and turned the "open" sign off, then walked away. I tried to call the restaurant, but the girl I could see standing by the phone let it ring until my fourth time calling. She then told me that they closed early except for online orders, so I told her that was fine, but I had one and I was locked outside. She said it was ready and waiting inside, and that she'd come open the door. After finally being let in by a customer, I got to the counter and they had gotten rid of my order. They then took 10 minutes to remake my order and did not mention or apologize for what happened. read more

I honestly wasn't going to write a review, until recently when I went to another five guys and they were terrible. Now I realize how great this one was! I go to this location more than I should, but I am hooked. Everytime I walk in, quickly greeted and helped. If there is a line, they are quick to open another register. Everyone I have encountered at the register has been very friendly and helpful. The seating area is always being cleaned and maintained, which is very food considering the peanuts and mess rose can make. Rarely ever see crumbs on floor though. Other I had been too was trashed. The bathrooms are always clean too, I usually use if picking up food before work to avoid nasty bathroom there lol They have never gotten my order wrong, and even taken some of my requests. Like light jalapeño or fries that are well done. Eating on a diet, but they are usually my cheat meal. Love this location and recommend it to anyone. read more

This is my 10th to 12th different five guys and they are consistently high quality food, great service, and very clean. Wish other chains could hit their consistency marks, but they all too often fail and fall flat on their face. I ordered online and picked up. They forgot my bowl (where I paid for and extra patty and extra cheese) and when I called the "manager" was not at all apologetic. He simply said "yeah, that happens all the time". I asked for a refund so I didn't have to go back. He said they couldn't do that. I'd have to call an 800 number. I said I'd just come back. He said it'd be ready. I got there, had to wait again. They didn't offer me any reimbursement of fresh fries or anything. And when I was leaving the store he yelled out very loudly how great of a job everyone was doing getting orders correct. Rude. I got home and found they made my bowl incorrectly and forgot all the extras I paid for. I called and asked for the store owner name and number. The "manager" told me he couldn't give me that info. I asked for his name and he told me he couldn't give me that info either. I called the 800 # to file a complaint and they took both my email and phone # and I never received and response there either. So turns out they have extremely poor management from the top on down. read more

Great burgers and if you don't know from the chain the regular is a double. Wife and kid had the little burger was more than enough for either of them. I got the cheeseburger was quite good. Their vegetarian menu... I recommend the grilled cheese my sister in law got the veggie sandwich (she is mostly vegetarian ) and found the sandwich to be a strange combo of flavors. Fries we got a regular 3 adults 1 child (I don't eat many fries) was more than enough. Overall good food and a much better way to spend a couple bucks on lunch than normal fast food. read more

Not bad. Still fast food, but with fresher ingredients. Loved the fresh cut fries. Burger was still reminiscent of a general fast food burger and was pretty greasy, but it wasn't bad. The soda machine was pretty cool; it's one of those digital ones you pick your drink on the screen and you can also add flavors (lime and vanilla for example) top your drink. Great food always. For a family of six ran about 40$. Prices are not bad at all. Only knock I have is no where to sit with a big family. When it is crowded good luck trying to find a seat. Love this location! Always clean and the staff is super friendly. The managers are always on top of things, and are great at remembering their loyal burger fans. The food is always consistent, hot, fast, delicious, and abundant with fries! We've been regulars at this location since they opened, but just tried call ahead service tonight for the first time...I highly recommend it if you're in a hurry! Food is excellent and the service was great. My wife is a tough one to please - she likes her meat well-done - and for most that means DRY. But NOT at Five Guys - their slogan of well-done beef but juicy is spot-on. They were so busy that I think they literally had 10 guys behind the counter - but all the while chaos was happening, everyone was smiling and seemed to be having fun. I agree with other reviewers - the fries portions are huge - plan to share with the family. They're quicker than a sit down, but with a much higher quality of food than a standard fast food place.
