I started on my phone using an online app and quickly became frustrated and made the impeccably horrible decision to place the online order from my laptop. The false sense of security of choosing a 40 minute window (20 minute was available) since that gave plenty of time to collect the order and return in time to collect the child from practice. Nope. We arrived 10 minutes early to discover our order did not reach the restaurant, despite receiving a confirmation from the "Eat Street" app. The restaurant admitted they were just about to call to have the app cancel online ordering because several other orders were placed earlier in the day and never reached their queue. The restaurant graciously agreed to make our (large) order and call us when it was ready - but we had run out of time to reach our next stop in time so we had someone else pick up the order for us. They handled this so professionally and even included a few desserts and a discount off our next purchase. What an amazing place! We brought the entire soccer team for a dinner and had another meal catered from here and it was absolutely brilliant. Kebabs were very tasty, vegetables grilled to perfection, hummus was great, and Greek salad was really good! Staff was very friendly and professional. This has been a go to place in the past. In the past couple of years they've raised their prices by 30 percent while also cutting portion sizes. Recently, they have pushed credit card processing fees on the customer. You now have to watch your bill as they try to add fees when paying cash. I've caught this multiple times. Now they're add surcharges on their sides. It used to be you could get fries or rice without be charged. There is now an upcharge for fries. This restaurant is now following the same policies as what the banks do. It's nickel and dime add-ons that have forced me going elsewhere. read more

Their menu online is wildly different from their menu at the restaurant FYI - the restaurant menu was huge and had dishes I was interested in but didn't know were available. They should fix that. We ordered the fatoush salad, chicken shawarma, spinach pie, and the Greek hamburger-esque dish (forgot the name lol). Food was ready in 15 minutes which was great. Fatoush salad was pretty standard but heavily covered in celery salt which I'm not used to and didn't love. Chicken shawarma had good flavor but the chicken was sooooooo dry. Spinach pie was weirdly soggy - this may just be because it was takeout but I think it would've benefitted greatly from a crispy crust that could actually hold in the filling. The hamburger dish wasn't bad but it needed a sauce or pickles or something else since it was a bit plain. Skip the fries as sides because they had no salt or other seasoning on them. All in all, for the price point and quality, I'd definitely choose yala kol. They don't charge you for garlic sauce either! read more

I'm in town for work and wanted something quick that I could bring back to the hotel to enjoy while watching playoff hockey. I ordered takeout about half an hour before close on a Tuesday night; a beef Gyro, fries and a small Greek salad. The beef was flavorful but many of the pieces were hard and required more effort than I felt like exerting. The fries were not good and didn't come with ketchup (my fault), I ate a few and threw the rest away. The same with the Greek salad, I had a couple bites and it went in the trash. The dressing had no taste. Also, rather than kalamata olives, mine came with a beet. Is that a thing? It shouldn't be, I didn't eat it. A lovely respite from the stretch of road littered with the usual burger and chicken sandwiches. Most of my family is vegetarian or vegan so I'm always on the lookout for options. This was our 3rd time visiting and it was just as good as we remembered. We visit on our way back from antiquing in Findlay. This time we shared an appetizer of chicken on a bed of humus. It's a good size portion and comes with pita for scooping. You may end up needing extra pita to wipe up every last bit of the delicious humus. We also shared the Fatoush salad. What a good place to eat! All the food was great! The only thing that was not good was the Mac and cheese.. Don't go to a place the serves great hummus and order a kids Mac and cheese.. It was to dry and my kids did not like it.. Nice place to sit down and have a meal... You go up and get it and then clean up after your done but that's no a big deal at all... I've been here before and it was good but this time not so much. I visited on 7/5/18. The hummus was so salty that it was nearly inedible. The beef on the gyro was chewy and overcooked. There was so much gyro sauce on it too! Every bite I took was overpowered by the sauce! Yuk. The grape leaves with meat had very little flavor even with lemon squeezed over them. I took the items back for a refund and found that nobody in the place knew what to do to resolve the issue. The cook seemed annoyed that I wasn't happy with the food. I waited 15 minutes for staff to get ahold of the owner/manager so they could refund the items returned.
