During that time, I noticed balled-up paper on the floor behind the bar and that much of the bar top appeared unclean. Two other guests were also expressing frustration that the bartender had only come by once and that one of their desserts was served cold. When the bartender finally approached, she provided me with a menu and took my drink order. However, after preparing my drink and setting it down, I saw a small roach crawling on the glass. I immediately informed the bartender and decided to leave the restaurant. This was, unfortunately, the most unsanitary Applebee's I have ever visited.
