We got manicures and pedicures. The staff were very nice. 1) The manager or owner of this place does not provide all the tools needed for a great job. How is staff supposed to do a good job if correct resources aren't available. 2) The exfoliation wasn't great and neither was the warm towel wrap. Top of are arms were covered but the bottom weren't. Same with lower legs. 3) cuticle trimming was half done. 4) the feet soaking tub liners are disposable, which is great but because they have to be hand filled, water gets cold easily. I can't speak for other services but I do NOT recommend manicures and pedicures. Owner needs to provide better resources to staff. Buy better products! Staff is very nice. read more

Not recommending to anyone! Yesterday, I visited Five Senses Spa & Wellness Center at 125 Chrysler Dr, Brampton, for a 15-minute facial hair removal session. My service was provided by Saira. She informed me that their services are priced based on the minute, and the cost for a 15-minute session would be $70 plus tax. She was, in fact, showing me the price list of their services. I noticed that the $70 charge was printed on a separate piece of paper. They had cut it out and attached it to their price list with tape or glue, which caught my attention immediately. It seemed unprofessional and made me question the legitimacy of their pricing. They kept mentioning that their so-called consultation was "free of charge." Unfortunately, what Saira explained during the consultation didn't make much sense. She spoke so quickly, and sometimes her pronunciation was unclear, making it difficult to understand what she was trying to convey. You could hear the first two words, and the last words were silent, but everything in between was hard to catch, as if the words were getting lost in her mouth. After leading me to the treatment room, Saira asked if I was from India. Even though I am not from India, I didn't understand the relevance of someone's background to the service he/she would be receiving, but I later realized that their pricing or approach might be influenced by skin color or country of origin. Saira instructed me to lie down on the treatment bed, but I noticed the cover was already wet. I asked her to change it, but she simply flipped it over and explained that she had just changed it, claiming it had gotten wet because she had placed her file on it. This explanation seemed strange and unconvincing. The laser treatment itself was over in less than two minutes, and when I pointed out that the session hadn't lasted long enough, she insisted it was finished. Despite the treatment being so brief, I was charged $79 including tax. I felt that this was unfair and potentially deceptive. I voiced my concerns at the front desk, and Saira was there, having a private conversation with another staff member. When I was paying, they asked if I wanted to book a second session, but I questioned the high cost for such a brief service. For comparison, I've previously received similar services at a reputable center in BCC, Brampton, where they used to charge me only $45 plus tax for a 15-minute session. To make up for the poor experience, the staff offered me a credit for my next visit. However, I'm unlikely to return given the disappointing service and pricing. I'm left wondering if I should go back and waste more time and money. read more

I've been coming to this spa for at least 5 years and they never disappoint. I mainly use their RMT services. Prior to covid they offered couples massages which were amazing for my husband and I. I recently went last Saturday and we booked concurrent appointments without being in the same room. My favs are Krystal and Kara. read more

Money grab and unprofessional. Probably the absolute worst spa I've ever been to and I just didn't feel comfortable going back. They suckered me into doing a 3 step facial; I felt pressured and signed but I called to cancel the 2nd and 3rd appointment but they still took money out saying that I signed a contract therefore I must be charged even if I didn't get the service. I reluctantly went to do my second but the third appointment I couldn't go because it was a snowstorm. Never called to reschedule or follow up but just charged me. Absolutely love the new Chiropractor they have Dr.Michelle Da Silva. She listens and understands all of your needs, explains everything that happens and is very professional when treating you. Im always nervous about chiropractors and she was amazing with my concerns and treatment. Absolute best customer service I have ever had in this field, and would HIGHLY recommend going to her!!! I got a gift certificate to Five Senses for a 30 minute massage and avoided using it for months because I've never been to a spa and it somehow terrified me. I finally used it last week and boooooooy, I can get used to this. I called the day before hoping to get a last minute appointment for the next morning and the receptionist was very nice and helpful. When I arrived the next day, the place was cool looking and the lady behind the counter very welcoming. She lead me to a waiting area and gave me a hot towel, which was a nice touch. After I filled out some registration information on a tablet (cool!), my massage therapist (I believe her name was Kara) greeted me and lead me to the therapy room. The massage itself was oh so relaxing with soothing spa music and soft lighting. Kara was lovely and really made me feel comfortable and pampered. The experience lead me from being a little uneasy at the concept of getting pampered to wanting to know when I can be back! And after looking at their pretty affordable prices, I don't think it'll be that long! read more

You've got to realize I do not give five stars unless I am REALLY satisfied.. I am not generous when it comes to rating places I've been. I do expect a lot from establishments that I go to especially when I pay them my hard earned money. I came here for my birthday last year, my dearest bf gave a sweet surprise and he made sure that I am all pampered and relaxed before he takes me to dinner that same night... One place can be nice but not friendly, and one place can be just friendly but not nice. I booked and went there for an RMT massage. When I arrived, reception greeted me. After filling out the health form, she led me to a nice waiting area. Has a bar, fancy chairs, it's where they serve their healthy lunches for other packages. She asked me what I'd like to drink. Tea, water, etc? Then my therapist came, Diana. Led me to a nice room, not too big, not too small. Just right. Looked nice. The place itself is quite big. My insurance website has a feature to find a nearby therapist, with ratings from users, and Diana was rated 5 stars. She is a lovely Russian lady, great personality, and shows her care during the session. She recently graduated this year, in 2018, but she was definitely an excellent massage therapist. I've been getting massages for my bad back for over 15 years, so I know what a good massage is. Diana was very good. I can only imagine what her skills would be as time goes. Price was in line with all RMT massages, and Diana definitely helped my muscles. I will definitely come by and I recommend her. read more

Probably the worst customer service in the world. I made a call about a MONTH ago, spoke to the owner and made an honest complaint about the newest chiropractor Michelle Da Silva. I honestly wasn't looking for any compensation but at least an apology would have been nice and I didn't even get that. Owner said he'd speak to Michelle and get back to me. Well im still waiting for that call back and its a month later. Michelle is a chiropractor, which means she's suppose to so adjustments on me and all she did was pass a costco massager on my back for 10 minutes and call it a day. I didn't say anything as I didn't want her to feel bad but I thought it would be right to speak with the owner so he knew what was going on in his store. I highly recommend this spa. They made me feel at home and did anything they could to make sure that I was comfortable. The staff are friendly and professional and my 90 min massage was heavenly! I Did not want to leave. They pay attention to detail and that shows right when you walk in. The rooms are spacious, dim and clean. They had the perfect music to accompany the massage and my therapist Dolly was looked out for my well being and asked every so often if I was okay. I've been going to Five Senses Day Spa for almost two years now as its location is convenient for me. I was very impressed with how clean and upscale this Spa is. Also, I have to commend Dolly (RMT), she is fantastic! What an amazing person. My back, neck and shoulders were in knots and she gently worked out all my muscles. My experience at Five Senses was amazing. The staff catered to me the moment I walked in offering me a warm towel, coffee or tea. The tranquil setting was relaxing. I felt like I was somewhere other than Ontario. After my massage, the Registered Massage Therapist used warm towels to remove all traces of the oil they used. It was heavenly! I then pampered myself to a mani/ pedi where a hot stone massage is standard for both hands and feet. The Spa was very clean and all tools were sterilized using Accel. I would recommend this Spa to both male or female clients wanting a great place to relax. They have many specials on their web site, online booking, a chiropractor and hair stylist on site and offer insurance receipts and direct billing. read more

Had a wonderful day at five senses day spa with myself and a friend. We were pleasantly surprised and sure to come back again. The moment you walk in they look after you from taking your jacket to offering you hot towels, coffee or tea while you wait. Everyone was beyond pleasant. Had RMT massage with Cara which was wonderful and my friend had Steve. We both loved how they wipe you down with warm towels. Then we did facials which was such a nice change from others I've had where all they do is push their products. Very informative and helpful, I'll be sure to go back for another. I recently went for the first time to Five Senses Spa for a massage. I had an appointment with an RMT, Joseph. I am currently in between reconstruction surgeries from Breast Cancer and have a very hard time laying on my front. When I arrived for my appointment I explained to Joseph that it is very uncomfortable to lay down and I usually build a padded area out of towels for my chest. Joseph was extremely professional and showed me that the chest area on their massage tables can go in for comfort (which I have never seen before) and he went and grabbed me some towels and blankets for added comfort. This is the first time I have had to explain to a male of my surgeries and Joseph handled it very well, he ensured I was comfortable and was sure to ask me if he was hurting me once the massage started. Will definitely be back for another massage at Five Senses. Thank you Five Senses and Joseph for making my experience such a positive one!! read more

Hello, I received a response back from Five Senses and was even more annoyed and disappointed with their level of customer service than before. All I wanted was an apology instead of a condescending response to my obvious horrific experience. First, let me start off by saying I am perfectly aware of what a shellac manicure is and why certain treatments can be or cannot be done. I did not appreciate the response including an explanation of what a shellac manicure is. Prior to receiving my manicure, I asked if I could still get all the elements of the Five Senses Manicure, while still getting the shellac manicure. I was told "yes" by my service provider. If she had said "no", I would have said forget the shellac and please give me the normal spa manicure. Secondly, I still have yet to receive even a small apology for having my cuticles bleed like crazy during the manicure, following the manicure, and continue to bleed at various points through the evening (keeping me awake through the night from throbbing pain). I now understand why all the of the reviews are great solely about the massage services and not other treatments. I had planned to try Five Senses again just for the massage, but given the lack of any form of human decency, I will not be returning. Stay away if you want anything other than a massage!! They do not care about customer service :( read more

I was treated very badly by a receptionist who claimed to be new on March 3rd. I sent a message through their website explaining what transpired. Apparently I was supposed to get a call the next day from the owner which never happened as this is what I was told by e-mail. I cancelled one of my future appointment weeks ago but still got a call yesterday asking for confirmation. This place likes to take your business, and then treat clients like garbage after. They can't even be bothered to apologize for mistakes they make yet they have a sign up that says "it's all about you." They still haven't apologized for what happened at my last visit which shows how little they care about clients and their poor integrity. I was recommending this spa to my friends at work, but I wouldn't come back to a place that does not value your business. read more

I am always looking for a spa that has exceptional service and professional estheticians. Manis/pedis are my favourite so I bought a Mother's Day package and went with my mother. The esthetician that was working with my mothers feet scraped her so hard she tore a piece of flesh off my mothers foot! We were very polite and just asked for a band-aid. After that experience I went again to do a mani because I had booked it months before. I had the same person that had worked on my mother on me now which made me nervous. She was filing my nail and while she was doing that she cut my skin. I was very polite but didn't give her a big tip that I usually do. The ambiance is great, they serve you tea or coffee but getting cut is not worth it. I will never go back there again. read more
