We booked our rentals in Feb and got an email at the end of April that they canceled our reservations. If we wanted something else we would have to pay 6000.00 more. I explained this trip was for our dad's 80th bday and flights have already been purchased and they did not care. We are stuck with no vacation and 20+ people who have paid for flights and when I asked to speak to a manager and a copy of my agreement I heard nothing. Please do not rent from this property. Do not book this company. The house we rented was filthy when we arrived -- mold, dirt, and dead bugs inside. The pool was absolutely disgusting, grimy all around, and completely unusable. We were told the pool company would come, but they didn't show up for two days. Since this was only a Thursday-Sunday trip, we rented this house specifically for the pool and was unable to use it our entire stay. When they finally came, all they did was skim the surface, which did nothing to fix the filth. Even the housekeepers were shocked by the condition of the home. To make matters worse, the rental company was disingenuous and condescending when we called for help, offering little real assistance. I wish that we had the same great experience that others have had renting from 5 Star, but I don't! We are currently staying in Destiny East in a home that we have had nothing but problems with. It all may sound small when I list the issues, but when you're coming from far away and spending so much money to have nice things for your family vacation you haven't taken in 23 years, you expect things to be in working order. Here's the list: 1. The pool doesn't work. Broken pump. Now it's slimy. No ETA on the part. 2. The dryer doesn't work. ETA to be fixed is tomorrow, five days after our arrival. 3. No propane in the tank to use the grill. Waiting on that for days. 4. Shower upstairs has one door that barely moves and the other swings in the shower off the track. 5. One of the showers downstairs has the same shoer door sining in issue, plus water shoots out of the shower head, over the shower doors, and onto the floor. Slipping hazard. 6. Broken sofa. 7. Palmetto bugs inside the house (otherwise known as cockroaches). 8. Two of the sleeping spaces they advertised online are actually beds in two different closets! 9. Bikes here to use needed to be replaced because the chain fell off of one when we rode it. They replaced those quickly. 10. One broken lounge chair by the pool. Reported but never replaced. I may be missing things but I believe this is enough to deter other renters from this rental company. There are many other options in Florida, but Destiny East will not be one that we or our friends and family ever stay in again! read more

We had over 30 people staying in the Villa Blanco house, and everyone had more than enough space. There were so many small touches that weren't even advertised that made the home luxurious and accommodating. I can see that not everyone else had a great experience, but I think it might also come down to having so many different owners for properties. We had to contact Five Star Properties for only one thing during our stay because we wanted to upgrade to having the pool heated at the property, and they had someone take care of it within the hour, top notch service. We were all very happy with them. I would say if you are looking to rent a house, just call them and get their recommendations on which property would work best for you. read more

We stayed at the Bellissmo (Destiny East) 5-12 July, 2025. The house itself is beautiful. However, the rental management company (Five Star Properties/Bliss Beach Rentals) has let somethings on the property slip. Prior to arrival, we were informed that the dryer was not working. Not a huge deal but an inconvenience nonetheless. Upon arrival, we discovered the pool not working properly. It took days for someone to come out and look at it, even though we notified management immediately. The motor was eventually taken and replaced, two days before us leaving. Two bathrooms had shower doors not working/broken. Numerous blown light bulbs. We even found a roach or palmetto bug in one of the rooms. It was just one thing after another the entire week. We spent more time contacting management than enjoying ourselves. Maybe the house being for sale since February 2025 has something to do with it. We chose the Bellissmo for its location, bedroom space and private pool. In the end, we were very disappointed with this home. We would not recommend this management company to anyone. read more

We've been staying at Five-Star properties for the past decade and have enjoyed the amenties. In the past, the properties have been beautiful and presented as described on the website. And when there were minor issues, the staff were quick to resolve the matter. Unfortunately, this was not the case during our recent stay at "The Great Eacape" . This property had one issue after another and should not be included in Five Star's inventory until it is fully vetted and renovated. The property had major flaws ranging from a dysfunctional HVAC system that completely stopped functioning (Day 2 into our 6 Night stay), broken appliances that resulted in sensors beeping day and night, and a malfunctioning stove. Addittionally, the furnshing in the common spaces were filthy, and in need of updating. In addittion, there was debris left on the side of the home from what appears to have been previous repairs. In addition, (in case that was'nt enough) 3 out of the 5 TV's. advertised in the description did not work, nor did the fireplace. The Five Star staff was responsive and tried to be accommodating. However, we spent more time calling to report issues and waiting on technicians to arrive then we did enjoying the beach and our family vacation. As I mentioned, we are loyal Five Star patrons however, this experience was really disheartening and left us questioning, whether or not, we would book again, and chance staying in the property with the many issues we experienced at "The Great Escape." read more

Do not deal with this agency. Like an other Yelp reviewer we too had the owner cancel our booking. They offered a comparable property which was decidedly not comparable. When we asked for an immediate refund of our deposit so we could book elsewhere we got the excuse that they don't control the banking system so we would have to wait 7 to 10 days. Absolutely HORRIBLE company to deal with. They accepted a full rental fee from us in April. They called the day before the reservation in May and cancelled. They refuse to give us a refund. In fact they even refuse to refund things like the cleaning fee and the pet deposit. They are hiding behind their policy of not offering refunds when cancellations are made within 30 days of the reservation. However, it is ludicrous to enforce this policy when the company itself was the one that made the cancellation and it was due to a current State of Florida Executive Order. They accepted the full rental fee even though it was not allowed by the Governor's State of Florida Executive Order 20-87,that was active at the time we made the reservation and stated in part "Vacation Rentals are prohibited from making new reservations or bookings and shall not accept new guests for check in for the duration of this order". This is absolute robbery and I hope this company gets audited by some sort of regulatory agency. I will NEVER EVER use them again. Very unprofessional and greedy company. They have also essentially ghosted me and have gotten no response to my request to speak to someone in upper management about the situation. read more

We rented a condominium in Destin Beach, Florida through VRBO and the property was managed by Five Star Properties. We got off to a rocky start since the first property we booked was canceled by the owner. We then booked a second property and after a few months this one was also canceled by the owner. We were told by Five Star that the owners had terminated their arrangement with Five Star Properties. This gives the impression that their relationship with the owners they represent is not solid. It was stressful dealing with this. Imagine making travel plans, plane reservations, etc., and having your reservation pulled from under you noy once but twice. Next time I book I will make sure to look into the property management company. Review of the Condominium: Overall a nice experience. A few issues need addressing. 1. The furniture needs updating. Looks very nice when you see it online but the years of wear and tear were concealed with Photoshop. 2. The clothes dryer does not work very well. 3. The microwave oven was broken. We notified maintenance and they brought a smaller countertop unit. 4. One of the sinks was leaking. We notified maintenance on Sunday night and to their credit they picked up the phone and had someone fixing it the next morning. 5. Despite the building having a No Smoking policy someone was lighting up marijuana joints and the pungent odor was coming into our unit through the elevator shaft into our foyer. This was a concern due to my two-year old granddaughter being with us. 6.BIGGEST PROBLEM: The unit does not have beach chairs and umbrella. Other units we have rented in the past from other property management companies come with two chairs and one umbrella for the entire stay. To further compound the matter the building's HOA is in cahoots with the beach umbrella vendor (can you say kickback?) in not allowing personal umbrellas on the beach due to "liability" reasons. B.S. if you ask me. The guy told me that if I would have rented my unit through another property management company I would have received two complimentary beach chairs and one umbrella but since they did not have an arrangement with Five Star Properties, I would have two pay. Imagine my shock when I was told an umbrella and two beach chairs would cost $325 for 6 days! This is highway robbery and they know it but since they got your nuggets in a chokehold you have no choice but pay or bake in the hot sun. I purchased a property from Norman MCLean who I was told owns Five Star Properties. He signed off on the disclosure sheet stating everything was good, he was in the construction industry so stupidly I believed him. He had hired someone to change out the windows with new trim....obviously they were aware of the extensive rotted damage to the house. He put a bandage on a mess so it could not be seen and lied about it. The entire house is rotted and he knowingly concealed and lied about it. Thousands and thousands of dollars to fix it, for me a single mom with medical issues. Do not stay at his homes. No one with a conscience does this. We are in the midst of a global pandemic and this company is being completely inflexible with their customers. They are offering no refunds, and charging increased fees for rebooking in the future. To rebook for Spring Break next year (since we can't go for Spring Break this year due to Covid-19) they want to charge us an additional 14% ($1,600 more!) essentially holding our $12K in their possession without a suitable resolution. We had a place booked when covid started. I literally had just booked this place two weeks prior to covid , then all was shut down. The condo wasn't in my name but another girl in our group but the charge was on my credit card. We had not one signed document at all of the contract or anything . Which to me would be a total liability. You should always have signed consent for anything... So I decided I will just stop payment. Unbeknownst to me what would then occur. Abt 2 weeks later they sent a letter regarding their policy of chargebacks, but mine was already going through the dispute because I had not received this letter yet . Again another fault of theirs ...After 2 mths went by Amex came back saying that I had to pay bc five star won't allow a charge back only credit toward the stay and because I did a chargeback ( ((I didn't get my money it went to them )) that I lose the right to rebook. How in the world . .. that's fraud !!! So Amex charged me and now I don't even get to use the credit. It's total fraud. I don't see how they can stay in business greeting customers with such disconcert. I tried calling several times. The time I got through I talked to Michelle at Miramar beach and she told me i don't have a credit bc I did a chargeback.. several days later I tried to call again. When they asked me Who I needed to speak with and my name they proceeded not tell me she was on the other line to hold and never came back. Again poor poor business. This owner should be ashamed. Just completed a week stay at the Five Star Properties managed SEA SPAN in Destiny, Destin FL. This property was a disappointment from a cleanliness and maintenance perspective. How this property is represented on Five Star web site and magazine is not even close to reality. The swimming pool was a dirty mess with used bandaids left laying on the pool deck, pool had algae growing in it, the brick decking is subsiding and is a tripping hazard, the outdoor table at the pool has a giant hole in it as a tile is missing. The outdoor shower handle is missing, so someone rigged up a wire to pull to operate the shower head. 3rd story deck...no furniture at all, 2nd story deck broken table and chair, I requested they do something about it, a maintenance tech stopped by and took them away and said this is normal as we are at the end of the summer season and these properties get beat up....note here....your rental pricing does not reflect the property condition. Now to the inside, dirty floors, after walking across the floors for one hour in bare feet, everyone's feet were black, obviously they sweep and stop there. By the way, no broom or vacuum cleaners in house to clean up your own messes. 3rd floor master suite, my wife found her handbag full of ants after the first night, dual head shower handle missing on one, shower heads partially plugged with calcium....also the sink in the master bath is designed for someone that is 7 feet tall. 2nd Floor deck is a dirty mess, likely has not been pressure washed since beginning of summer. The WIFI did not work when we checked in, I had to plug the CITRIX modem in to power up. We watched the pool company clean the pool, not once did he sample the water to check water quality or chlorine levels....disgusting! Downstairs bedroom shower leaks, water all over the floor in bedroom and sheetrock on wall all wet in bedroom side. To make a long story shorter, Five Star Properties is misrepresenting this property as a premium vacation rental. Also few of the previously posted items by others have been fixed as of this past week. You will be better off finding another provider for your vacation and definitely avoid this particular property. If a landlord cannot maintain their property, the management company should have minimum standards and remove the property from their rental portfolio. read more

I booked through them a few years ago for a bachelorette party and the house (which they switched us to the day before we left) had one problem after another. I spent more time on the phone with maintenance then enjoying my time at the beach. A gas leak and the fire department having to come at midnight was the icing on the cake. A friend booked through them for my bachelorette ( not knowing my past experience) and they have been terrible to deal with during the COVID situation. We had to cancel due to out of state travel and short term rental bans by the governor. They will not issue a refund to my friend that booked. They have numerous reviews about horrible management. No one greeted us when we arrived as it says online, and when we found the place in such a disgusting manner, no one came to come even check on the property when we complained. They sent us to another house, which was even more disgusting when we complained about both, the refunded us without going to check anything out for themselves. Just wrapped up a 7 day stay at a property in Destin (Sea Span - 892504) managed by this company. Having rented dozens of million dollar vacation rentals, this was by far the biggest let down possible. When we arrived at the house, we were greeted by the company inspector. He did a quick walk through of the property turning on the TV's to make sure they worked. As we walked through the home, we made mention of some very obvious issues that he assured us would be taken care of after he called maintenance. The biggest initial issue was that the elevator was broken. This is a three story house that we specifically rented because of the elevator and our need to accommodate feeble house guests in our party. Maintenance did not show up till the following afternoon. By then, we had already called to report that the pool water features, spa and lights were not working as well as the master bed foundation broke and fell to the floor when we simply put a suitcase on the bed. When we called, we were told that they knew the pool had a broken controller and a work order had been submitted and they would follow up with a repair time. Never heard back from them. Maintenance did manage to fix the bed and repair the elevator. However, the bed was impossible to sleep on because every time you moved, it made a horrible noise and sounded as if it would fall to the floor again. The elevator worked for three lifts before getting stuck between two floors with a guest in it. Finally managed to get it going again only to have that be the last time it worked. The house overall was in a state of disrepair with what looks like band-aid fixes on the things that have broken prior. The advertised GOURMET KITCHEN? The kitchen sink would not drain once filled. It took the oven 2 hours to cook bacon. The dumbwaiter was full of black mold. Kitchen garbage can was electric and stopped working because the duck tape holding in the batteries failed. No oven mitts. No baking sheets, etc. LUXURY ACCOMMODATIONS? The master bathroom toilet whistles very loudly when you flush and wakes everyone up. 2nd floor toilet handle would stick and water would run continuously. There were broken bar stools, couches that were shredded, rusted pool table, broken patio chairs. Both faucets in the king ensuites were broken. One was rigged with a plastic straw to get the shower option to work. Tub option did not work. Sink stopper in room over pool room did not work. The house had no extra bedding. We only received half the supplies promised. COCKROACHES....Yeah we know it is Florida....but we did not expect to have to share this million dollar property with 2" cockroaches. Even on the third floor. We called for maintenance, called the local office, called the reservations department and emailed and texted everyone we could. NO ONE RESPONDED to help with the house issues after that first maintenance visit. The real kicker? We paid over $11,000.00 to rent this property. And the property did not even match the advertised pictures. We were sold on the claim of indoor/outdoor luxury....but what we got was broken furniture and cockroaches. Outdoor living? NOPE. The pictures all showed really nice outdoor patio sets. What did we actually have? A previous renter's leftover plastic Adirondack chairs and severely rusted pool area table set. 5 balconies and only 1 had a patio set that was rusted and broken. We had to run to Walmart and buy our own folding camping chairs in order to sit outside. The pictures they sold us on were absolute lies. While there we also had to listen to 4 days straight of vulgar rap music that was so loud the community security and the cops were called out multiple times. The only time we heard from anyone on this rental after the initial calls were the numerous badgering texts and emails that we kept receiving asking us to arrange to rent the place next year. No one cared that we were having issues, just wanted to make sure to lock us in to steal our money the following year. There are dozens of rental companies in this area.....just don't pick this one. $11k to rent a property they knew was in need of serious repair before we even got there is criminal. read more

On May 1, 2020 we innocently rented one of Five Stars' beach properties and was confirmed for the 10th -18th of May. As it turns out the Governor of Florida had a short term rental ban on all beach property during that time. They were not legally entitled to rent the property to us, but NEVER said a word. They took our $8 grand and then cancelled us 3-days before checking in. What sleaze Bags! Now, they will not refund our money. They only offer us 100% credit, of which we do not want. We want to be able to determine when and where we will spend our money. They breached the contract by being dishonest. THESE GUYS ARE RIPOFF ARTISTS! RUN! Let me begin by saying DO NOT USE FIVE STAR BEACH PROPERTIES. Our stay was from August 6, 2016 to August 13, 2016 in the Bella Vista, which is a water front property. Air conditioning or lack of it on the second floor, which is where the kitchen is and the main assembly area for the family did not work and was absolutely un-bearable. Despite several requests to have the problem fixed or be relocated the problem wasn't solved and we had to endure the heat. Ultimately, the Five Star reps brought in a window unit. This window unit couldn't keep up with the heat and just added to the noise, clutter and uncomfortable decor inside this home. The second main issue we faced was found when we checked in. The dishwasher was found to have dirty dishes loaded. We soon found out why, the dishwasher was broken. So while we were on the phone with the Five Star reps about the A/C we told them about the dishwasher as well. They sent somebody who told us there'd be a part ordered and it would be in long after we're gone. So, you're doing the dishes by hand. So thereafter, we soon found out the ice maker wasn't working either. We called the reps about this and called back 5-6 times about the other issues as well. Their answer was to bring us two bags of ice. The two bags of ice was nice, but the remainder of the problems made this vacation a waste of money, time and experience. We rented a Seacrest home, Hakuna Matata, paying nearly $20,000 for last week's stay, but had several issues: 1) It took 3 days to get a remote so the the DVD player could be used 2) There was insufficient propane for the grill. We barely got enough for 1 meal. 3) My bedside table was in pieces in the closet, so no light on my side of the bed. 4) The beach set up they arranged for us never came. 5) The gas fire pit was disconnected by the owner (not 5 Star's fault but disappointing.) 6) The door to our bedroom stuck so badly that I had to leave through the patio door and ring the front door bell to get in one morning. 7) They instructed us to take out all our own garbage before we left or risk being fined. My husband and I stayed with Five Star Properties twice last summer. The views in both places - a home and a condo - were breath taking. Both rentals also had pool access, the home a private, heated pool that we greatly enjoyed. In addition to the properties though, the staff was excellent! We had trouble finding the first location because our gps was down and customer service guided us over the phone to the property. We also had a complementary fresh sweet bread and bottled waters left for us during our second stay. I highly recommend a stay with Five Star Beach Properties - they make the booking process (over the phone or via their user friendly website) easy, the properties are one of a kind with state of the art amenities and great views, and the customer service is fantastic. read more

5 Star delivers 1 Star ..... Our house in Destin, FL was as advertised ..... but the property mgmt. company (5 Star Properties) fell way short of being a property mgmt. company. Without boring the masses here - they essentially lacked any customer service, fell short on what they stated over the phone and most importantly, hid behind their rental agreements to defend themselves. When we didn't have an operable pool & spa (i.e. no heating to either, of which we paid extra for) upon checking in on the first day and two more days thereafter, they felt like a refund of the heating fee's would be appropriate (which I had already disputed the charges with my CC company), and {Martha @ 5 Star} trying to get me to answer "yes or no" {on a recorded call} if I read point #25 of my rental agreement - which indicated they weren't liable for malfunctions to the pool/spa -- to which I stated, "how can you use that as a line of defense, when the units were not working upon our arrival" -- absolutely 'no comment' ...... the entire experience borders on being "Fraud" - they (and their pool vendor) had to know the heater wasn't working properly, but apparently chose to ignore it. I spoke to three rep's @ 5 Star and only Justin was semi-helpful & polite -- the other two, well let's just say they really need some additional training. read more

A week before our 7 day vacay in Destin, I had a very traumatic accident that left me a mouth full of stitches, my mouth wires and surgical braces on my gums after a night of surgery. I was in no way looking forward to a 7 hour drive to the beach even though me and my family had been looking forward to our vacay for months! My mom called and tried to get a our trip refunded, postponed even suggesting that they try to re-rent the property, but because we didn't opt'd for the insurance they said their hands were tied. No wiggle room at all. Fine! I'll accept that, if I must. Upon arrival the Villa was simply beautiful. It didn't come with any beach toys, golf cart or bike which I thought was ridiculous since we paid almost 4K, but whatever. After the 1st night we realized our dryer didn't work and there was a bug problem. No problem, right! Just call customer service and these should be simple fixes...nope! We are on day 5, our clothes smell like a wet dog, and no pest control. My Mom has called MULTIPLE times and I even sent an email that went unanswered. Today on day 5 they offered us comp tickets for either a dolphin tour (no, would bore my teenagers), Baytowne Warf (no, been there done that) or Big Khauna (no, my kids couldn't care less about waiting hour for a tube to stand in long lines for a 10 second slide). I asked if we could get a golf cart and bikes for our remaining 2 days instead. The response was the vendor didn't have anymore golf carts but they could send bikes. Now I'm no accountant, but a golf cart and bikes for 2 days vs 11 tickets to a water park is waaay less, right? So why not simply make it happen? Is there only 1 vendor, I doubt it! Sigh...I'm sad to say we are almost on day (5p on day 5) 6 which is really the last day since we check out on day 7 and there are still no bikes, no new dryer and no solution. I had high hopes for this company, but yet again...even after accepting my own faults, they are not standing true to a 5 Star service. 2 stars since the property itself is nice and so close to the beach, but if dollars are more important than service I'll be spending "my stacks" elsewhere next year. I must add, a tech did come out and unhooked the vent to the dryer and said it would be a quick fix to at least dry our wet clothes. So excited to have a steamy washroom to dry our clothes. (Sarcasm) A few positives: 1. My room is clean, I need that since all I'm doing is sleeping! 2. They have sent huge bags of washclothes/towels since we can't wash 3. They sent someone out immediately when my Mom noticed her sheets were not clean on her bed. read more

Please please please do NOT rent from here! We decided to take a nice getaway in the COVID because of the stress of it all and after they cancelled our first reservation, they helped us set up a new reservation taht was supposedly good to go. We received confirmation emails each day leading up to our check in. HOWEVER they did not lift a finger to tell us that our second reservation a week later was cancelled because of the Governors restrictions. We drove 20 hours to stay here and they couldn't be bothered to update our reservations! Ridiculous! The service on the phone was absolutely atrocious and we had to jump through flaming hoops just for a simple refund. This place is shady, scheming, and absolutely a waste of money. Please find somewhere else! The name "five star" could NOT be farther from the truth! read more

As an owner of two homes, my experience with Five Star has been a wonderful partnership.. When there is an issue with a guest, they are quick to respond, and bend over backwards to make sure their stay is what they dream of in a beach vacation. From an owner point of view, they are always responsive to my needs. In building my second home, they were always meeting with me to insure the perfect guest experience. They also protect my investment by meeting with all my guests as they arrive...with gifts! This year they added two services for my guests that are always asked about, at no additional cost to me. Be weary of booking with this company, all! They are still advertising their rentals but if any "stay at home" orders come back around - THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY if you cannot make it to your reservation. Many many upset people filing law suits at this time. Please all be careful and go with Airbnb or another company to insure your reservation is refunded Incase of changes in Covid mandates. read more

We stayed at Destiny by the Sea in Destin FL. Twice. It was wonderful both time. The staff was amazing, the second house we stayed at didn't have any blow dryers, called them and within an hour they delivered two brand new ones still in the boxes. Then we called and said we wanted chairs and umbrellas and paddle boards in the AM, went to the private beach in the morning and they were sitting there waiting for us. Felt very spoiled. The house was so beautiful and the gated community was so well maintained. I loved every minute of it. Will definitely go back! read more

Do not rent from these money hungry, inconsiderate people. Josh has the nerve to leave a post that he is willing to work with clients who have to cancel because of Covid-19. But what he neglects to tell you is that you will get NO MONEY BACK! Heck, I would just like to get a phone call back!! He won't even do that! The absolute worst! This is a global pandemic, people! Why do they think they have a right to keep our $6500?! Do not rent from these crooks! I have always enjoyed visiting Destin. But I am done. If you book a reservation through Five-Star Properties in Destin, FL located at 12273 Emerald Coast PKWY, STE 208, Miramar Beach, FL 32550... You better book a second reservation with a separate unrelated company. Here's why. 1. January 25, 2019 our family booked the well sought after "Capitano" the biggest house in Destiny by the Sea. Deposit paid: $7,046.17 2. Sept 24, 2019 2nd half of deposit paid in-full: $7,046.17 3. Thursday, October 24, 2019 Five Star (by the way I'm already sick of typing in FIVE star to refer to this 1/2 star group of people that call them-selves a company, a mgmt company at that). They called to inform us that "Capitano" may not be available due to repairs. but, most likely it would still be ready for our reservation of Thanksgiving week. 5-star then recommended we reserve a second property at regular rate just incase, for a back up. What kind of a company would require an additional payment for a separate property when we are 100% blameless and already paid for the previous property? These scoundrels wanted to get us on-the-hook for another property because they knew we were going to get the bounce out of "Capitano" My brother told them he would need to think about it. 4. Monday, October 28, 2019 We called 5-star to let them know we would prefer to just take our chances with "Capitano" being ready for our trip over Thanksgiving. The representative who supposedly was a manager then informed us that "Capitano" will NOT be available and we needed to make other arrangements. I wonder if/when 5-Star was going to call to give us the bad news? We are traveling from Southern California with our entire family of 20ppl and they waited till now to WELCH on their contract. I've never had this type of experience in my entire life of travels. Our family owns and manages several real estate holdings both commercial/residential throughout Southern California including Automobile franchises, etc... and we are well versed in travels and what is considered 5-star experiences. In fact, we often choose establishments that may not carry the 5-star rating but the service we receive is nothing shy of great caring customer attention that is equivalent to the (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)'s To the owner(s) of 5-Star Properties in Destin, FL and the Owner(s) of (Capitano) I assure you we will never use your organization again NOR will we ever stay at "Capitano". Frankly, it's my personal belief that the mgmt company & owner intentionally pushed us aside. By the way, we were fortunate enough to find another large oceanfront home in Destin. My father served honorably in the US Military-Airforce and till this day shares his stories while stationed in Biloxi, MS. When they had a few days of leave, he and a few friends would drive all-day to Destin find a nice beach and take long naps and totally relax on such a beautiful beach. This will be his first time going back to Destin in nearly 35 yrs. What a shame Five-Star Properties almost ruined it along with the owner of "Capitano". Matt M. read more
