We were moved to a substitute unit, but that unit had its own problems, including a smoke detector without batteries that was actively beeping (a safety concern), a large stain on the bed, and clothing left behind hanging on the bathroom door. Once the water issue was resolved, we returned to our original unit, only to find that the oven was not working. There was also no toaster provided until we specifically requested one. In addition, there was active construction happening during our stay, which we were not informed about in advance. We were told an attempt had been made to contact us, but we did not receive any call or voicemail. While a partial refund was issued, it did not even amount to the cost of one night's stay and did not reflect the number or severity of the issues encountered. We were also told that the cost of repairing the water heater was a factor in the compensation offered, which does not seem appropriate, as maintaining functional appliances is the responsibility of the property owner. Overall, the combination of utility outages, safety concerns, cleanliness issues, missing or non-functioning amenities, and lack of communication made this a frustrating experience. We would recommend confirming the condition of the unit and any ongoing work before booking.

We couldn't even have the blinds cracked bc it would heat up the place too much. They were able to get it to work for one night but the next day it was totally out again.. Oven never worked right. The following morning I put in a complaint to the 24 hour help. Their initial reply was "There is some bug spray there" mine was " Yes, however, I do not want to be an exterminator during my vacation". After about 15 minutes I received a call from a rep that seemed very apologetic and agreed to move us to an upper floor into a different unit. He gave us the room number and said that we will receive a call instructing us when we can relocate our things to the upper floor. That didn't happen, instead I received a text saying our current room was no longer available for the remainder of our stay due to maintenance no mention of the unit the other person had promised. It was followed by an email stating we could select from a provided list a different unit. However, those units were in a completely different LOCATION, not in the area we booked for an event we were attending that evening. I told the lady we don't want to move to a completely different area ( as we were hours from the start of the event). After I hung up, the first gentleman called back stating he saw I declined the move and I said because they didn't offer the room you mentioned and they wanted to move us to a totally different location. He was confused to why they didn't pay attention to what he noted. He said he would send some to spray ASAP and apply a monetary compensation on Monday, as of yet we have not seen any compensation. They did come to spray, although it was a partial spray and they didn't listen to us when we told them where we saw them coming from. The next evening the roaches returned. During the battle of the roaches we discovered how dirty this place was. Crumbs of food behind stuff, and previous old roach motels under cabinets and tables. I felt HORRIBLE that my friends were exposed to a $1200 Roach motel.

The beach is across the street and there is no private beach access. I love the white sands and the temperature was great at night. The villa had the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept in on a vacation. Kitchen is extremely small, dishwasher was full of dishes, we were wondering why there were only 3 plates and a few coffee mugs. We bought paper plates and utensils since we had assumed the dishes would be in the cabinets. We were wrong. The water pressure wasn't perfect but then again it never is at the beach. Location is close to shopping and all the restaurants. You can walk to several different places. It is hard to navigate the villas at night. You turn in three blocks from where you are actually staying which is very weird. Several different places all in one general area. Overall an okay experience but not likely to return to this area. It is very crowded this time of the year.

It is an…read moreold complex, but well kept, built by the military in the 60's to send officers to when they got home from Vietnam. The pluses are: 1. the low density layout and park next door. This means the beach in front is not crowded like most properties. 2. Great location. The last condo complex as leaving Ft Walton heading to Destin makes it easy to get to either. And walking distance to the pier and boardwalk. 3. Very sturdy well built and quiet. Makes for a relaxing vacation. 4. Great beach with included umbrellas and 2 chairs. 5. Large pool, always clean and nice. 6. Relatively small complex, about 100 units The only negative is that all units are 2 floors, and the bathrooms are all upstairs with the bedrooms. October is our favorite time.

Pros: Very comfortable for a family of four. Technically it fits 7 people. 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Safe and covered parking spot for one car. New dishwasher. Oversized washer and dryer. Free beach umbrella with 2 chairs for each day of our stay. From 9-5. Close walk to the beach! Cons: Cleaning: we walked in and the floor still had sand- I know it's a beach but we pay for the cleaning fee: almost $200. The master bathroom needed a new shower curtain (the inside one). The one it had was disgusting! I called twice to seascape they said they were going to bring a new one and they never did. The beds were so uncomfortable both the master and the guest full size bed. The appliances and devices need major updating!! No smart TV's we were only allowed to watch cable!! What is this 2010? LOL! The building lacked awareness and safety about COVID-19. I know I know- you may think I'm a snob, but when they charge you $200+ a night plus all these rental and cleaning fees you expect nice things right? So the questions are: Would I rent this condo again? No! Would I rent with seascape again? Nope!!
